Good evening everyone, please I will like to know if a Diploma in business administration from Unilag HRD (Human Resource Diploma Centre) will count as 2 or more degrees for my WES evaluation. I have a BSc already and i wish to do the diploma program because it is less than a year and cheaper. Please house as anyone used the hrd certificate to claim more points on EE. I cannot do BCS, the price is high. Thank you

Thank you for your response, the reason why i want to apply before I defer is because of the instability in the exchange rate only God knows what will happen in the next few months. So that is why I want to apply before my acceptance letter will expire.
zubizareta:

Since you have planned to defer, why not wait for the new updated loa to be out before submitting your application

Good morning everyone, please can I apply for my study Visa with only my tuition deposit. My program is for September 2023 intake, meanwhile on my LOA,I have been given a deadline for my first semester tuition fee payment that was June 25. Although centennial college said my admission is still valid and I can defer my admission to the next available intake which is May 2024. But my school has not given me the updated LOA and it will take time before I get it. Please Is it safe for me to submit my study Visa application with the LOA I have with me?

hayoBams:
landing gist!!!
Hey guys,
So my parents, sibling and cousins all followed me to the airport. The drive to the airport was hectic, my flight was actually on Monday and as y’all know Mondays traffic are quite heavy in Lagos. I went with Ethiopian airline and the flight was scheduled to depart by 1 pm but classic Nigerian time we didn’t depart until about 3pm which in turn affected me at Addis Ababa, but I’ll get back to that later in the gist.We left home around 8 am and got to the airport at about 9:30.

There were a total of 6 People with me so we had to bribe with about 3k for all of us to enter. We got to the check-in queue for Ethiopian Airlines which was a bit long but i was finally attended to, pro tip: make sure you weigh your baggage before leaving home to save yourself from headaches and also in as much as you won’t need a power bank in Canada I’d say you should keep one with you cause it might come in handy at the airport. So my bags were finally weighed and I had an extra baggage of which I was supposed to pay 106k but I eventually paid a total of 60k because my uncle was able to speak to the guy at the counter and within 30 minutes I was done.

Saying goodbye to my family at the immigration was the actually the hardest part of the trip because non travelers were not allowed beyond that point. we all cried and said our goodbyes. I manned up and swallowed my tears while reminding myself I’ll see them pretty soon.

As I had said at the beginning of the story, My departure time was 1pm but we didn’t start boarding till around 2:40 and by 3:00pm we had taken off. This was actually my first time traveling by plane so I was very nervous but then I met a very nice lady who was heading to Malawi turns out she came to study in Nigeria UI to be precise and in my mind I was like who leaves their coin to come study in Nigeria lol. We arrived Addis Ababa by 11pm of which we were supposed to land by 9pm and have a layover of 2 hours before boarding the flight to Toronto but due to the delay in Lagos there was no layover, so it was off the flight from Lagos, down to the flight to Toronto.
Finding the boarding gate wasn't hard, but there were a lot of stops before getting to the boarding gate, like I had to pull off my shoe, open my carry-on like 3 times.
The second leg of the trip was longer like 13 hours or so but I entertained myself with some movies. for me I don’t know about others but the food on the plane was wack I was lucky enough to had snuck in pieces of meat onto the flight, this was what sustained me till we finally arrived safely on Tuesday morning 7:45am Toronto time everyone clapped for the pilot because there was a lot of turbulence of which I though was gonna die lol.
As soon as I came down from the flight I followed the signs and quickly rushed down to arrivals, I already did the arrivecan stuff online before leaving Nigeria but the self decoration machine wasn’t acknowledging my passport so I just had to proceed to one of the officials at the counter and she filled a new declaration form for me. Please obey all the instructions you’re given and kindly ask questions on things you don’t understand.
It was my turn to be attended to, the officer was actual looking beautiful so I told her then she smiled she then proceeds to ask for my international passport, my tuition receipt and she printed out my permit, stamped it and handed it over to me then she wished me goodluck, pro tip: try complimenting the officer it really makes the officer feel more comfortable with you.My cousin was already waiting for me at the arrivals and we were able to get a SIM card for me.

Thank you so much to everyone who had contributed to my journey by relentlessly answering my questions.
I’ll be resuming at centennial college this coming January and also it’s cold in Canada oooo make sure you are prepared.

Thank you for your response I really appreciate it. I presume you order your notes from gcmsnotes. Please how much did you order for your CBSA and GCMS note. I mean the naira equivalent
Thomsyne:

Hiii,

So sorry about your refusal. You can get your full notes from https://gcmsnotes.com/ or https://getgcms.com/en/order-now if you have dollar card. However, ask Anon123, Justmellow or GCMSwriters if they can also order full file. I know they do GCMS and CBSA. You can pay them in Naira.

I guess you are a new here, I will advise you to read through this thread and also use google for a detailed explanation for these keywords. But let me try
PPR passport request letter
IRCC immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada
MP member of parliament
Nairobi office is the location of one of the canada visa processing office in Kenya
Upfront medical is a medical examination done before a visa applicant receives a request to do medicals by IRCC. The major reasons why some applicants do this is to speed up the processing time however it does not guarantee visa
IOM is one of the medical examination center in Nigeria. They are 2 in Nigeria
Lagoseko:
Guys
Well done
I am new here and about to start processing school for my wife.
I have applied and waiting for admission letter.

Please what is the meaning of some words that have been reading here like
PPR
IRCC
Webform
IOM
Nairobi Office
Thank you
UPFRONT MEDICAL
MP
CBSA
MBA

Secondly, is it better for the POF to be in the student's or sponsor's account ?

Thank you

Hello thomsyne, please I need your assistance on how to order the notes. Which one is faster gcms or cbsa. Also please can you explain to me how you ordered your notes. My application was refused since Sept and I have been confused on how to order my notes. I have a question and this question is directed to you and other members in this forum
Please is it possible for me to get all the documents including SOP that I used to apply for my study visa. I used an agent in my first application and he did not do a good work on file. So I told him that I am not going to reapply again that I want my tuition deposit. Meanwhile I don't want to work with him again so I requested for all the documents he used to apply for my visa which he gave me, but I just have the suspicion that the Sop he sent to me is not the actual Sop he used to apply for my visa. To clear my doubts that is why I asked this question.
Please forgive me for my lengthy write up, To everyone expecting PR God answer your prayers. You shall have testimonies.
Thomsyne:

Ah no vex oooo. God will remember you my paddy.

Hope you’ve been harassing them with mails and webforms? Also pls get an MP to assist you.

As a side note to anyone reading this. My CBSA notes came a couple days ago and I realized that a particular webform I submitted got to them and reflected in my notes - it was addressed to RROC.

I also noticed that the Primary Office changed from Nairobi to RROC in the notes that came after my approval so I would implore those that have been waiting for a while to focus on webforms.

The old one, new one and there’s a variant of the old one that isn’t addressed to any office. The webforms I sent were to Lagos, Nairobi, Beijing, London and that ordinary one that isn’t addressed to any office.

Wish everyone the best.

Exactly that is my point. The review I have been seeing on nairaland about the gcms note is that is takes along time. Even charitole she just received her gcms notes since August that she applied. It is not even detailed. Please who can recommend a good website to me concerning the gcms notes
7COLOURS:

I applied for my notes first week in July and it's not yet out. It should be close or more than 100 days now

When I sent message to them, they said ATIP is the one delaying and it will take 30-300 days

Thank you makano but please can you give me a suggestion of the website to order my gcms. Which one is faster?.
makano:
Hello Aduragbeni

Wait for 100 days for what? That is too long, I haven't seen GCMS notes take that long.

The stipulated time for GCMS notes is 30days, but we have seen some taking 40 - 50 days to be ready.. Max 60 days but not 100 days.. Please be guided..

Peace
