God's message to the Seven Churches (Revelation 2) is just as relevant to us today. We must learn to review our own lives from the observations noted in these churches. Have you departed from the love of God? Have you adopted false doctrines or let the spirit of seduction work in your midst? God calls you today to return to the love of God and cling onto the faith of Jesus, who also overcame and now sits with the Father in glory. Heaven is the reward for those that overcome! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jo4BCTrjip4 https://fb.watch/fEZjiDb-Bq/ |

What sins are you struggling with? "Envy, malice, evil thinking, evil-speaking, covetousness—these are weights that the Christian must lay aside if he would run successfully the race for immortality. Every habit or practice that leads into sin and brings dishonor upon Christ must be put away, whatever the sacrifice. The blessing of heaven cannot attend any man in violating the eternal principles of right. One sin cherished is sufficient to work degradation of character and to mislead others." - AA, 312.1 God calls you today to embrace righteousness. No earthly gain is worth your reward in heaven. DELIVER US FROM EVIL As we journey through life, we are faced with two kinds of evil; the evil within and the evil without. These evils seek one thing only—to bring us to destruction and cut us off from the salvation of God. This is why it is important for us to cling on to Jesus so he can deliver us from all such evils (Matthew 6:13). The evil within us is our propensity to sin, and the evil without is the plans which the devil devices against us. How do we then overcome these malevolent powers? The answer is Jesus Christ. The Godhead - Further and Final Thoughts on the Godhead. Hello friend, I specially invite you to join me on the last part of the Godhead series - Part 9. We have so far learnt extensively about various topics within the doctrine of the Godhead. We have looked at the scriptures, ancient manuscripts and writings of the early church fathers as the guiding light to dispel the darkness of falsehood spun by agents of darkness to distort the true character of God as well as undermine the co-equal and co-eternal nature of the other members of the Godhead—Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Please share and join me for this insightful sermon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DYmz63B9QY https://fb.watch/fA-6WuJ02O/ |

Overcoming Evil: Show Love even to those who hate you for no reason. "Under a storm of stinging, faultfinding words, keep the mind stayed upon the word of God. Let mind and heart be stored with God's promises. If you are ill-treated or wrongfully accused, instead of returning an angry answer, repeat to yourself the precious promises: “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21. - Ministry of Healing, p.486 You may ask, but why would God expect this from us? Moment of Power #444: OVERCOMING DOUBT [PART TWO] Like Moses: Our call to service It is easy to see why things won't work and how you're not good enough, but you can also see that this all comes from relying on your own strengths while being blinded by your weaknesses. You should learn to trust God in any given assignment. He who has called you to serve will make all things available for his work. Just submit yourself as a willing vessel. God sees your potential, you should too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzDv33ds8jI https://fb.watch/fx2TokMWUY/ |

The life of Abraham is an inspiring case of a man who overcame doubt by growing in faith through obedience to God. Make the decision to draw closer to God in fellowship each day; study the scriptures; listen to his true servants; and communicate with him in prayer. As you grow in fellowship, this also builds up your faith in God's promises for your life as you become more aware of his wondrous works in the past and the certainty of his promises for the future. The more aware you are of what God has done, the more convinced you become of what he has promised to do. Take that step of faith today! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wf6DCOR-5Fk https://fb.watch/fvKyqCsL7Y/ |

Amazing Love: We love him because he first loved us. We were at our lowest, condemned to the consequences of our sins. And God, out of his undying, unfathomable love, looked upon us with such an amazing love that he condescended from his celestial throne to walk in our midst and guide us by his love and blood unto redemption. Now we have a hope of eternal life in glory because he has lifted us out of the condemnation of sin and placed us on the reward of his love. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkxavuzVuW8 https://fb.watch/fupLjm0ug7/ |

In the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), we can find the Baptismal/Trinitarian Formula—baptising in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This gives credence to the distinctiveness of the three personalities of the Godhead. However, there is a controversy spun by people who do not believe in the co-equal and co-eternal nature of the Godhead; they claim that those words were never uttered by Jesus nor written by Matthew. But what does the evidence from the scriptures and earliest manuscripts say? Watch this sermon! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2d_pvfEBz4 https://fb.watch/frMCLiX8uc/ |

Love is the greatest gift, graciously given to us by the greatest being, God Almighty. The Bible tells us that if we don't have love, then we do not know God. Love is the expression of the divine. Prayer: Father, we give you glory. We worship you. help us to be able to share your love with others, and so, Lord, help us to know that you are always there and that your love will carry us through and that you will never forsake us. Thank you for giving us the greatest of the greatest of all gifts—everlasting life, as it is in Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ay148gItN4 https://fb.watch/fqs6QoyEdu/ |

Think about it - God could have made us like machines programmed ONLY to do His will and worship him, without the possibility of sin, but instead he chose to give us the freedom of choice to see His love and to choose to love him; not out of fear nor out of coercion, but out of reverence for his everlasting love. However, God's love came under siege after Satan's rebellion in Heaven. He coveted the glory and throne of the Almighty God, and still does so today by putting that same spirit of rebellion in the hearts of men. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20MxLvEI8Zc https://fb.watch/fp7Mk1ztW_/ |

We cannot claim to love God or to be abiding by the principles of His commandments when we live a life full of hate for our fellow. God's laws are given to build the love and joy of togetherness in us. We cannot separate love from the law; So when we say we love God, we must keep his commandments which in summary is "love your neighbour as yourself" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RCcXWxR9aY https://fb.watch/fnQZe2kpbJ/ |

Having read about Jesus being the Prince of Peace, you may wonder, how then does Matt. 10:34 talk about a sword? "...It was the mission of Jesus to reconcile men to God, and thus to one another. But the world at large are under the control of Satan, Christ's bitterest foe... They hate the purity which reveals and condemns their sins, and they persecute and destroy those who would urge upon them its just and holy claims." - GC. p.46 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9uxwKZXQ94 https://fb.watch/fmuyD2Q25d/ |

There is a kind of peace that beats understanding; one that makes you stand boldly even when situations demand that you cower in terror and anxiety. “...my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” – John 14:27. Jesus has offered us something greater than the world can ever give; will you submit yourself to receive this gift today? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTeLpV2bpao https://fb.watch/flaNkYl1y2/ |

The Johannine Comma: Was it an addition or a subtraction? Join me on today's sermon on the Godhead series, as we take a detailed, historic, and evidence-based review of this very controversial topic that has been the cause of many debates for centuries. Is it reliable or authentic? Could it have been an addition or subtraction by copyist/translators who wanted to modify the texts to suit their own views, a practice common among the heretical sects in the time of the early Church? "Some have corrupted the epistle of 1 John because they wished to separate Jesus' humanity from his deity" - Socrates of Constantinople https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbGQEOnlGSw https://fb.watch/fiyPUxPp81/ |
