"Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea." - Isaiah 48:18

The verse above is one of many in the scriptures that gives a clear path to finding peace. There is an abundance of blessings that are available when we submit ourselves to the commandments of God; one such blessing is the gift of peace - like a river from an eternal source. Obedience is key!

Prayer: Father, change our hearts and help us to live in harmony with your word. We come to you today, and we give our hearts to Jesus afresh. We pray that he will cleanse us in the merit of Calvary with the power in the blood in Jesus' name, amen.

The truth matters, but WHAT IS TRUTH?

It is not just enough to be curious about the knowledge of your faith; but you should sincerely inquire to know the TRUTH on which your beliefs are rooted. A sincere inquirer of the truth will find the unchanged texts of the scripture as a great resource - Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6); the Word of God is the Truth (John 17:17); the Law of God is the Truth (Psalm 119:142).

You need the knowledge of the truth on the journey of your faith to stand firm in any situation.

The necessity of reaching out with the good news of salvation to the world

Dear friend, we ought to submit ourselves to the mission of Christ, which is to bring salvation to the souls of all mankind. The world needs to hear your experiences of the new life you have received in Christ. The world needs people who will teach them the knowledge of truth that will liberate them - the world needs a saviour, that is Jesus Christ.

"And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace...". We have received the command from our Lord to go into the world with the glad tidings of salvation.
