'Giving is Life' and it is a guaranteed way to living an abundant life Would you rather be like the Dead Sea that neither gives nor receives and, thus, has no life form in it? Would you rather hoard the blessings which God has graciously given you rather than become a channel of blessing to others? The message of "giving" is boldly written in all of God's creation. We can learn from the sun, the trees and our environment how this virtue of giving improves sustenance. Join me as we take another look at one more principle to living an abundant life. Do not be deceived by false theology into remaining in sin! It is of no use to hide under selfishly misinterpreted texts of scripture to continue living a life that is contrary to the laws and will of God. Our salvation in Christ also affords us the grace to be transformed from our old nature into the nature of righteousness. "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." - 1 Cor. 6:11. The Spirit of God is readily available to everyone who will submit in total humility to be sanctified. Living a life that is not found in Christ is futile to our hope of eternal life in glory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7QjRAbzHPQ https://fb.watch/f_2U5YCRfC/ |

What Excuse Will You Give For Disbelief ?Thus when the people of Israel...paid supreme homage to the forces of nature, they severed their connection with all that is uplifting and ennobling, and fell an easy prey to temptation. With the defenses of the soul broken down, the misguided worshipers had no barrier against sin and yielded themselves to the evil passions of the human heart. - PK 281We must resist the temptation to let vain imaginations and theories blind us from the truth of God and our responsibility to him. No Excuse! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58onuQ8uGmc https://fb.watch/fYKof_d5zI/ |

The Heart of True Worship is rooted in the Creative Acts of God Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. - Revelation 4:11 When we sincerely examine the beauty and complexities of the universe, we cannot deny the truth that there must be a divine force inspired by love that is responsible for it all. We are forever in the presence of God's greatness and his goodness. He has loved us from the foundation of the world. In all these, all he asks for is that we love him! Are you grateful for God's gift of love? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BctoM5qj1b0 https://fb.watch/fW5YQcJURQ/ |

There is No Sitting on the Fence In the realm of the spirit, you are either filled with the Spirit of Light or you are dominated by the spirit of darkness. We are blessed with the gift of choice, and so God will not force himself on us. However, this choice comes with a responsibility. If we reject the Spirit of God, we break the hedge around us and allow our hearts to be possessed by the spirits of demons that seek only to destroy us and lead us to eternal damnation. There is no vacuum in the spirit realm. Remember, it is the Spirit of God that leads us into all truth and into the sanctified victorious life in Christ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8dL7xxFER8 https://fb.watch/fUMPhCtyKn/ |

Moment of Power #457 - Wrong Comparison The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector We must resist the urge to proclaim our 'self-righteousness' or compare ourselves with other people. Jesus is our standard! "The prayer of the publican was heard because it showed dependence reaching forth to lay hold upon Omnipotence. Self to the publican appeared nothing but shame. Thus it must be seen by all who seek God. By faith—faith that renounces all self-trust—the needy suppliant is to lay hold upon infinite power." - COL 159 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUesQOy_BJs https://fb.watch/fQP49fHPcM/ |

You cannot serve both God and Mammon Let us be sincere with ourselves as children of God; the light of righteousness and the darkness of sin cannot co-exist. We must also resist the urge to downplay the consequences of our decisions as Christians (especially with new converts)—the wages of sin is still "DEATH" and the reward of righteousness is "ETERNAL LIFE IN GLORY". Dear friend, you have just one choice to make. In which of these boxes will you cast the ballot you have been given? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_EsP19k50k https://fb.watch/fPuCpuz8js/ |

Lead us not into Temptation, But Deliver us from Evil No one can successfully overcome without prayer. In the hour of Christ's greatest temptation, he PRAYED. He also encourages us to wake up from our sleep, rise and pray with sincerity in our hearts so we do not enter into temptation. The keyword is "Sincerity in prayer". Do not pray like the hypocritical Pharisees who seek to draw attention to themselves, rather, pray in total submission to the power of God. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSKt3ODDJAA https://fb.watch/fOagHR9Fzs/ |

The Secret of Overcomers "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him." - 1 John 3:6 The psalmist said in Psalms 119:11, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." This is the secret weapon in the hands of the true overcomers. When the word of God abides in your heart, you invite the power of God to dwell and give him permission to remove sinful desires of the flesh from your heart. As long as we are in our sinful nature, we cannot save ourselves, but if you abide in Christ and he abides in you, you are transformed into the divine nature. God bless you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-PwQEQxotg https://fb.watch/fMSd1jODtP/ |

Moment of Power #453 - Overcoming Evil [Part 8] Who is Able to Stand? Becoming a part of the 144,000 Our scripture for meditation today tells us that these are people "without guile in their mouth and in whom was found no sin". They are overcomers! Last days' saints redeemed from the earth (Rev. 14:3). They are people who have become like Jesus Christ in character (1 Peter 2:21-22), depending on the power and spirit of God to overcome their sinful nature. You can make the decision today to be a part of the 144,000. Dear God, we need you at such a time as this. We know that anybody holding on to any sin knowingly will enter your kingdom. Cleanse us and give us the power to live above sin, in Jesus' name, amen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfscuUCXezo https://fb.watch/fLy5Fd01Ze/ |

Word Encounter #47 - How are We Faring? (An Urgent Message to God's Remnant Church) Brothers and sisters, we must now answer this pressing question as a church: How are we faring? Unfortunately, the truth is that we have not fared well. We have let the world creep into the church. We have allowed the pillars of our faith to be brought down, all in a bid to appear "relevant". Take heed! The church of God is not, and must not be treated as an experiment that can be adjusted to various environmental factors! There must now be a revival of primitive godliness among God's people. The Church of God must retrace its steps to the very foundation of truth upon which it was established. God's remnant church is known as one that keeps the commandments of God and has the testimony of Jesus. This is the foundation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and a commitment to these principles was the guiding light of the early Church. But how, when and where did we stray from the truth? Can we honestly assess ourselves as a church and say we have fared well? This is an important message to all Adventists. Moment of Power #452 - Overcoming Evil - Part 7 Has any man condemned you? In the case of the woman accused of adultery, we see the power of Jesus in his ability to forgive, give us grace, sanctify, and set us free from the condemnation of our past sins. And Jesus said to the woman, "Go and sin no more." John 8:11. At that moment, Jesus did not just stop at saving her from the present circumstances of her sinful lifestyle; he also delivered her from the spirit of sin within her. He can do the same for you right now; don't condemn yourself when Jesus hasn't. Surrender yourself to his powers and you will receive your deliverance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBTTwVK3-Dg https://fb.watch/fIVtjANLxm/ |

Moment of Power #451 - Overcoming Evil [Part 6] God who holds the stars in their place, can sustain you in righteousness. Dear friend, God knows your struggles. He calls you to surrender to him so he can empower you to live free from the shackles of sin and sustain you in fellowship with him. His desire is for you to have unhindered access to the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, but this can only happen when you live above sin! Even when you sin, he has given us an advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous, to restore us and cleanse us of the filthiness of our sins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Wsv0OZtXE8 https://fb.watch/fHA_uryCDi/ |

1 John 3:6 says, "Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not." As a Christian genuinely born again and committed to the fellowship of God, the nature of unrighteousness becomes locked out by the divine nature of God that now dwells in you. This reformation gives you the strength of will to eschew unrighteousness. You become drawn passionately into the things of God—choosing to abide in the light of his presence and overcome the darkness of sin and the works of the devil.
