Do not be deceived by false theology into remaining in sin!

It is of no use to hide under selfishly misinterpreted texts of scripture to continue living a life that is contrary to the laws and will of God. Our salvation in Christ also affords us the grace to be transformed from our old nature into the nature of righteousness.

"And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." - 1 Cor. 6:11. The Spirit of God is readily available to everyone who will submit in total humility to be sanctified. Living a life that is not found in Christ is futile to our hope of eternal life in glory.

In the realm of the spirit, you are either filled with the Spirit of Light or you are dominated by the spirit of darkness. We are blessed with the gift of choice, and so God will not force himself on us. However, this choice comes with a responsibility. If we reject the Spirit of God, we break the hedge around us and allow our hearts to be possessed by the spirits of demons that seek only to destroy us and lead us to eternal damnation. Jesus Christ declared over 2000 years ago that He has overcome the world on behalf of those who will follow Him - John 16 vs 33 - yet here you instead take honor that belongs to Him for yourself proclaiming yourself true overcomes, of what exactly?

He never asked any of His followers to overcome anything. He simply commanded them all to live accept/submit and obey His every teaching and commandment and to accept His peace even when suffering and tribulations rear up since He has overcome all of that for their sake. The Secret of Overcomers

"Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him." - 1 John 3:6

The psalmist said in Psalms 119:11, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." This is the secret weapon in the hands of the true overcomers. When the word of God abides in your heart, you invite the power of God to dwell and give him permission to remove sinful desires of the flesh from your heart. As long as we are in our sinful nature, we cannot save ourselves, but if you abide in Christ and he abides in you, you are transformed into the divine nature.

You can make the decision today to be a part of the 144,000.

Dear God, we need you at such a time as this. We know that anybody holding on to any sin knowingly will enter your kingdom. Cleanse us and give us the power to live above sin, in Jesus' name, amen.

In the case of the woman accused of adultery, we see the power of Jesus in his ability to forgive, give us grace, sanctify, and set us free from the condemnation of our past sins. At that moment, Jesus did not just stop at saving her from the present circumstances of her sinful lifestyle; he also delivered her from the spirit of sin within her.
