It is a good idea to keep monitoring the exchange rates and adjust your POF accordingly because your POF is measured in Canadian dollars and you are expected to maintain the equivalent in Naira for Nigerian applicants. Back when I applied in 2014, I ensured my POF was above the required equivalent funds so that when the exchange rates went up, I was covered and didn't have to worry about increasing it. Some others just converted their Naira to US dollars and put in their dom account which was smart because when others suffered as the naira fell in 2015, they were safe and smiling. They just took their dollars with them to Canada when they received their PR.

Okay. At the time I submitted in June, I had deposited about 300K extra in POF but using today's exchange rate, the total POF in my bank statement has fallen below required sum. Are you saying CIC will use today's Oanda exchange rate to calculate assuming they were looking at my file today or they will calculate based on my submission date in June? I am pnp so my file is yet to be attended to tho, hopefully rates normalise. However, your response is scary bro...

Congrats to those who received PPR. Please, specifically can anybody state the BGC for applicants their companies do not have any internet presence ie LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, anything internet but Ref letter was submitted in CIC format and company name reflects in applicants bank statements as pay stubs? Have they contacted anybody in this situations employer?

Secondly, has anyone with Ontario Nomination got Medicals passed lately or got PPR? Is it same 3months or less processing time frame to gt PPR for Ontario nominants too as what we all are seeing? Thank you.

Because according to her, banks don't gve CIC exact amount in ur acc, they only confirm to CIC its ur acc and that indeed you had that amount of money on that said date. Said her friend did that n got PR. Bankers and experienced fam members in the house, please kindly confirm this.

Please one more question, do you have an idea how they confirm companies without websites or anything to trace them. Just a general gmail address and office address. Or are they fine with the supervisors contact in the reference letter? How do they believe/confirm these companies without websites/Linkedin profiles or any internet presence atall? Does anyone have idea. Predecessors please get in here.

Really? The pcc from Nigeria dont have address on it but my friends address is on his pcc from UK and thats the state he works and lives.

Does it matter if the address on ur UK pcc isn't the address u currenty live but your old address maybe family house? Please does anyone know?

Old rule. New rule is cumulative of 6 months.

Please how about my family house is in Enugu(two different bank accounts bear the Enugu address) postal address is also Enugu. But then I have been working in Abuja for over 1year and thats the address on my EE application. Is it okay to use the Enugu address for my pcc? Even as I've been living in a different State for more than 6months?

So true, you can be asked for updated POF with the way dollar and naira is behaving.

I was asked for mine, and given 30 days to submit, thankfully, it was a salary account, and more money had accrued into it.

Initial POF was the salary account and a FD I had for about two years, I just reprinted the statement and for the FD, it spanned for three years, and got PPR within two weeks.

I know of people that got rejected cos of this reason, CIC Would scrutinize your documents, and asking for updated POF is like the norm, they would even tell you to explain any recent lodgement, and mind you, they can go to any end.

Just be safe, I printed my SOA a day before I left Nigeria, because you never know what you would get at the POE.

Uhhhm thanks for responding but are you in a bad mood or you're just naturally an impatient person. I have been following ths thread silently n have gone tru as much as I can. I mean there is a limit to what a person can handle/see. If someone asks specific questions, it means specific response is needed if anyone got it. Referring people to read the pages is ok but please do it with care. Some people can't deal with certain things, you want me to start crying before US embassy bounce me already. But God forbid! Nobody will bounce me.

Based on logistics, plz if u have the email to mail the US guys, just drop it and dont shout at me again before I will cry for all of you here. JUST A QUICK ONE HOUSE. Leave reference letter which can be used to contact our supervisors and co. How do they confirm all these companies we work for? Is it only via CAC ie if a company doesnt have a website cz you cant tell me all the companies in Nigeria or even in the abroad has a website/is in google search. Cz my company no get website but my ref letters are Ircc format and all...Please can anyone help on this. Its worrying me ooooooo

2. When you finally went to the US - you went after your MSc program and you stayed for 3 months.
3. Your account is connected to your email, use the forgot password feature.
4. You don't need any documents to upload.
5. How can you contradict a form, you filled by yourself?
6. The process for applying for US VISA is universal and hasn't changed, only difference, you are to upload your picture before the interview date.

One last very important question, house. For a notarised gift of deed done in court do I need to upload the receipt of payment? Ie. That 500 naira paper receipt or just the notarised letter alone. The typist/lady in the court insisted on the receipt cz 'its going away' but I refused cz of the xtra cost of receipt 5huns. Im feelin guilty now. Does it matter? Anyone been thre? Gurus pleaseee talk to me

I am interested in that response too. Please can a company you are working deposit loop sum in ur acc, maybe upfront payment or money due to pay you or stuff. Can that suffice as pof? Will they accept?

For NOI 1500cad application payment the instruction says CREDIT card visa/mastercard does it mean we can't pay with our debit visa/mastercards as I intend to pay with my pounds account and its a debit card. It is two weeks ie 14 days. The 45 days was for last years application.

Congrats to those who recently got ITA. May God do ours for us too, amen. To those with OINP dont forget to share your eca access to Ircc. Its done on www.wes.org/ca. Dont know if those with ITA also do eca access too, someone can confirm.

For those who are almost done with oinp application plz how did you download the noi letter and is it just the E-application like online application only or we will also print and send hard copies to ON. Any tips on oinp ideal submission? Please share, 1500 cad is too much to make mistake. God bless you as you take your time to respond.
