Blame govt for this dastardly act because govt at all levels have refused to take decisive action to nip this malady in d bud. A man was killed late last year in Edo State over land dispute. CDA is still effective despite Oba's directive against CDA.

Good Morning All,

I need to seek advice from good people of Nairaland. A friend of mine was taken to UK some years back, all expenses paid by his Uncle, got a working permit. There was a misunderstanding between them, the Uncle seized his travelling document including Passport and was told to pay back all the money he used in bring him from Nigeria to UK (5 Million Naira) before he is going to release his document.

After my friend worked and payed, his Uncle just woke up one morning booked ticket to Nigeria for both of them saying they need to go home. As we speak my friend is back to Nigeria without anything and after paying the 5M, the uncle still didnt release his Travelling document.

Please I need advice, Can he apply for a replacement of both working permit and Passport, let's assume he was robbed and everything was taken away, though he has them snapped on his phone. This guy is already depressed.

Let the salaries of public office holders be slashed. Imagine Buhari cuts his hair with N90m. That's just one of his allowances!

Let their salaries and allowances, from the Presidency to Local Government Chairman be slashed and we don't have to borrow to pay workers.

It is not enough to slash their salaries n allowances but to block leakages n nip corruption in d bud. Our politicians are neck deep in corruption: they inflate contracts so as to collect kickbacks.U can imagin a Governor to ve accepted 5million dollars(over 1.5 billion naira) as kickback. Obj wasn't irrelevant when APC visited him

In Edo State 2016 governorship election, Oshiomhole singlehandedly brought in Obaseki against d wish of d party and against d wish of the then National Chairman, Oyegun. Most of Oshiomole's cabinet members were against his dictatorial n recalcitrant stance of imposing Obaseki. He harassed n sacked those who refused to budge. Today, he wants APC governors to listen to him when he didn't listen to Oyegun. APC will be neck deep in crisis prior to 2019 because of karma. Nigerians are wiser. We re tired of their lies.

It takes a high profile political thief to build d type of houses Oshiomhole has in Edo State. Oshiomhole should be invited by EFCC n prosecuted if PMB is serious with his fight against corruption.

Ur assertion that there was no single project under GEJ is not only ludicrous but a grotesque distortion of the truth. These are some of d projects initiated and completed under GEJ:
1. 12 new universities
2. 120 almajiri schools
3. Revival of Lagos-Kano rail
4. Converting Enugu airport to international
5. The YouWIN Scheme
