i can relate perfectly bruh.. But don't despair. I spent an extra year at the uni and after looking at my bad result, I dropped out after my HOD gave me a C.O which would've meant another extra year. My coirsemates already served since last year, had a bad start at d uni which contributed to my bad first yr result. I slipped into depression that I got lean AF in weeks. Every time I take a look at the poor situation at home and hustling background my dad went thru to sponsor me, I got more depressed and contemplated suicide but I haven't the guts for it. I dusted myself up, worked on my skill and fortunately before my decision, I wrote jamb in my final year as a plan B should I incur a C.O which eventually happened. Got admitted again in another institution late last year and currently dusting all my courses leaving no stones unturned. So, take a leaf from me and find a way out. Discovered suicide will only live my poor family in more sorrows. You can do this!! I know you'll need funds to actualize this. Get a skill you can work from home: graphic design, programming etc then you work alongside your studies and use the proceeds to fund your sch shiits.

Of all the people on this thread, you are the first to look at it from the wife's perspective. That's impressive.

My view is the wife's anger has to do with the fact that she was made to go through that in such conditions when the mother in law could have easily helped. He shouldn't invalidate his wife feelings by taking his Mom side. If possible, he should help her make peace with that incident and let his mom know in a peaceful way.
