This woman is just a power drunk hypocrite. How can aisha who forced bello down our throats in kogi be making noise about people not being in control. What she wants is for buhari to only pander to the wishes of her and her brothers. This woman is easily the most corrupt person in this govt. She is working at cross purposes with her husband.

Corruption fighting back. Judicial corruption is worst for of corruption. If buhari tackles it. Everybody will sit up.because we know then that going to jail for corruption is a reality
PoliticsRe: Arraignment Of Judges Put Off Indefinitely by afla: 4:05pm On Oct 12, 2016
If buhari gives in to the blackmail of cjn to name people close to buhari who have been bribing the judges then he should forget about this anti corruption fight in totality and concentrate on getting our economy back to where it was when he took over. After that he should just pack his bags and go and wait for his painful and shameful end in daura.

Judges are by their calling empowered to make binding life and death situations on behalf of the rest of society. When judgements are obtained fraudulently, the INTERNAL SECURITY of the nation is endangered. Judicial coruption is the worst form of corruption! I support PMB for tackling it!

IS IT A COINCIDENCE THAT MOST OF THE JUDGES ON THE RIVERS PANEL SAT ON THE KOGI PANEL? THOSE ARE THE JUDGES THAT DO THE CJN DIRTY JOB FOR HIM. USED RIVERS AND AKWAIBOM JUDGEMEHTS TO BLACKMAIL CJN TO SELL KOGI JUDGEMENT to them then they turned around to arrest them. I can bet you the cash found on ngwuta is remnant of the bribe from KOGI judgement. Our God is ALIVE
PoliticsRe: No Regrets Writing Petition Against Aregbesola – Osun Judge by afla: 8:57am On Oct 11, 2016
NJC retired her for speaking the truth to aregbesola. But they ignored the mountains of corruption before them. The constitution has to be reviewed. NJC should not sit as judge in their own case. Eg CJN mahmud is the head of a very corrupt cabal in the supreme court yet he is supposed to preside over NJC to discipline erring judges, how is that possible?

I am firmly against corruption but do not support the 'show of force' against the judges. As a matter of fact, I don't think law enforcement agencies should ever use force against anyone except the suspect resists arrest. That being said, I find it hard to understand why the DSS adopt the commando style arrest in the middle of the night when they could have extended an invitation to these judges like they do to the politicians.

Also, it is not a crime to keep money at home, it is only a crime if the money is the product of an illegal transaction. That being said, I still support the fight against corruption but only within the dictates of the law.
PLS WHAT SHOW OF FORCE ARE YOU REFERRING TO? WHY DID THE JUDGES NOT OPEN THE DOORS IN PEACE WHEN ASKED TO DO SO? IF THEY HAD OPENED THE DOOR WILL THE DSS HAVE ANY NEED TO FORCE THE DOOR OPEN? HOW CAN A SUPREME COURT JUSTICE BE OBSTRUCTING LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS? SHAME ON OUR COUNTRY. ALL THESE HULABALOO ABOUT MANNER OF ARREST WOULD HAVE BEEN UNNECESSARY IF THEY HAD SIMPLY OPENED THE DOOR AND COOPERATED

HE IS THE HEAD OF THE CORRUPT CABAL IN THE SUPREME COURT. NGWUTA AND OKORO ARE HIS ERRAND BOYS. THE ROT IN THE SUPREME COURT IS DEEPLY REGRETTABLE AND DISTRESSING
PoliticsRe: Judges’ Arrest “deeply Regrettable, Distressing” - Chief Justice Of Nigeria by afla: 4:46pm On Oct 10, 2016
It must be distressing for the CJN because his cabal of corrupt judges who do his dirty jobs has been busted. I am sure he is looking for where to hide his own share of the bribes. Buhari should just concentrate on the extra ordinary corruption in the supreme court and watch how everybody will be whipped into line in all arms of government. It should not be difficult to monitor the lifestyles of 15 supreme court judges and their families. Extraordinary situations call for extraordinary measures. If the supreme court judges know they cannot collect bribes it will be difficult for them to condone corruption in any other part of Nigerian society. If ngwuta and okoro are successfully convicted then truly change has begun in nigeria

Femi falana is an embarrassment to common sense. Okay let's assume the judges received bribes, why were their doors and gates hammered down? What were the DSS officers even doing with sledge hammers? Then again,is bribery case not under the purview of the police, are those judges security threats? These are questions this shameless man ought to be asking instead pronouncing the judges guilty even before they have been charged. Sometimes I really wonder how falz copes with this man. Smh.
THOSE JUDGES ARE WORSE THAN SECURITY THREATS
PoliticsRe: Blame Yourselves, Not DSS, Falana Tells NBA by afla: 7:40am On Oct 10, 2016
Falana has said it all. Some drastic action was needed to save us from the corruption in the judiciary. Corruption in the judiciary is worse than in any other arm of government. They are the final ARBITRER and hold the power of life and death. The shameful ruling okoro and ngwuta gave in the recent kogi ruling shall hunt them for the rest of their lives.

MadamExcellency:
A lawyer in USA or Britain is not automatically qualified to practice law in Nigeria - Fact.

Nigeria has her laws and constitution and as such we apply it accordingly.

There are no better custodian of Nigerian constitution and laws than the NBA hence the six living past and present NBA Presidents are saying that the DSS acted unconstitutionally against its statutory and constitutional responsibilities.

The Executive is just one arm of the government in a democracy and doesn't make it own laws.

It is time to defend constitutional democracy and as such fight to stop Nigeria from slipping into dictatorship.

Are you getting the crux of the matter and the direction of the debate?
WHAT DID THE ALMIGHTY NBA SAY WHEN THE COURTS ESPECIALLY THE SUPREME COURT WE'RE OFFERING RULINGS FOR SALE. CORRUPTION IN THE JUDICIARY IS WORSE THAN CORRUPTION IN ANY OTHER ARM BECAUSE THEY ARE THE FINAL ARBITRER. THEY HOLD THE POWER OF LIFE AND DEATH. JUST RECENTLY JUSTICE NGWUTA OVERULED THE CONSTITUTION IN THE KOGI MATTER YET NBA KEPT QUIET. MOST LAWYERS KNEW IT WAS A CLEAR MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE BUT THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO. THE SUPREME GOD whom the cheated and oppressed have been crying to all these while IS DEALING WITH THE JUDGES NOW AND I PRAISE HIM. PRAISE GOD

Don't waste your time. They will write the result and nothing will happen. They did it in kogi and now edo and nothing will happen. Forensic analysis of election results has been rubbished by the kogi ruling! That ruling legitimised rigging because it threw out an unchallenged forensic report that showed that pdp won the election

My sister, I dey oooo. Since it is almost a routine exercise for every major loser in an election to go to court, this doesn't come as a surprise. I have said it elsewhere that I won't advise Pastor Iyamu to go to court. Aside the fact that there are many holes in the case, the courts these days rarely rock the boat. I was expecting them to upturn Bello's victory but it was upheld by the Supreme Court based on some obscure legal terminologies.
But na them right to seek justice if they feel they were robbed of victory. No be my money dem go take pay lawyers.
I doubt if pastor expects the judiciary to upturn obaseki victory. He just wants to further expose the rot in the land. The kogi case was a huge disgrace to the judiciary. They refused to even answer obvious questions that would have upturned bello's victory. The supreme court worked from answer to question in that case. No laws were quoted to support their position. What a shame. I am sure GEJ will be regretting not damning the consequences and holding on to power. Nigeria is a sham

Don't waste your time and resources going to court. The kogi judgement has officially sanctioned rigging and election malpractice by the powers that be. The whole electoral act and sections of our constitution were thrown to the dogs to satisfy apc. No court will upturn this election. Don't waste your time. We are officially a one party state.

Faleke should go and wash his head in a new age church or by some imam or better still in an ifa priest's temple. The election in which he and his principle where leading was classified as inconclusive. Thereby making and clearing d way for bello.

Can an inclonclusive deputy governorship candidate be declared d winner of an inconclusive process when we all know d party and not d individual is d final and sole beneficial of all d votes cast? huh
Is that what bello did to get his certificate of return? He should better relocate to his temple and bathe there non stop because na only magic fit save am for supreme court and he knows it.
PoliticsRe: Yahaya Bello Cerebrating Court's Victory Today - Photos by afla: 9:33pm On Aug 04, 2016
Only a fool like bello will celebrate a judgement that he bought with billions of kogi money. There is no difference between this judgement and the earlier tribunal judgment because both panels were constituted by zainab bulkacuwa, a justice who is known for pay as you go judgements. One judge on the panel needs to be celebrated. He had the courage to turn down bello's billions and was the lone dissenting voice. We need more of those kind of judges in Nigeria. Let us wait and see whether the supreme court will be ready to throw away the whole electoral system to the dogs because of bello. This kogi case has the implications to turn the country into more chaos. If supreme court supports the travesty that is bello then we might as well kiss democracy as we know it goodbye. In the meantime, bello should be celebrating his position on the chart of WORST PERFORMING GOVERNORS- HE TOPPED THE CHARTS! Well done bello.

Where do they want the governors to get money from? Allow fiscal federalism, they say no! Allow them fix their wages, they say no! Where will the money come from? ICC will tell serap the truth which is- the states can just not afford to pay-:the only option before them is to sack workers. States can't continue to use their whole a location to pay salaries. For those of you shouting igr, you mean non civil servants should be taxed to pay salaries of civil servants? Does that sound right? What work do civil servants really do apart from making sure they destroy all well intended policies.

1. There are consequences when you loot and steal your country's money and reserves. I means you won't have any or enough reserves left to import what you need, it means price increase. What you are talking about is the sad consequence of PDP's looting and stealing and gross incompetency so you are the zombie for not knowing these basic facts.

2. There are consequences when you failed to build refineries to prevent fuel shortages after 16 years in office with more than enough money to do so, but instead looted and shared every kobo. What you are talking about is the sad consequence of PDP's looting and stealing and gross incompetency so you are the zombie for not knowing these basic facts.

3. There are consequences when you budget money for projects every year, but still did not build everything because you've looted every kobo.

What you are talking about is the sad consequence of PDP's looting and stealing and gross incompetency so you are the zombie for not knowing these basic facts.

You are obviously the zombie..
Since you insist that all the suffering we are presently going through are consequences of 16 years of PDP-

When will we start feeling the consequences of the looting and stealing that is STILL going on?
When will we start feeling the consequences of the upandan economic policy of this administration?

I don't see where the President referenced anything about the worthless, disgraced, corrupt and incompetent PDP lately. The writer said the president gives an impression that the PDP achieved absolutely nothing in their 16-year rule and In fact, he sometimes infers that PDP destroyed Nigeria and he cannot perform a miracle in one year to rebuild the country, I just wonder why the same writer failed to articulate exactly what the PDP achieved in 16 years.

1. Is it stable electricity after stealing $20 billion power funds that left us in darkness?

2. Is it the wonderful roads, bridges, quality schools, good hospitals and so on they left behind?

3. Is it the wonderful refineries they destroyed and when they even refused to build new ones to prevent fuel scarcity?

4. Is it how they refused to invest the largest stream of revenue in the history of Nigeria to ease the eventual pains of low fuel prices that was bound to manifest eventually like we are experiencing today?

5. Is it using our money to or how they turned our public institutions like the NNPC into election financiers?

6. Is it how they looted and shared our money, bought mansions jets, cars and so on.

7. Are not even waking up daily to sad news about how they looted this and that?

The writer would love for us to forget that the PDP did not rule for 16 years and the horrible mess they left behind should not be part of our memory of history and we are in this situation by accident.

Unfortunately for the goofy writer, we know exactly how we got here and we won't forget or stop letting Nigerians know the evil mess they left behind.

What a waste of time and internet bandwidth..
Pdp bequeathed many tools that are making the only 'achievement' of buharis administration- anti corruption- possible! These tools are BVN, Call monitoring, TSA and a somewhat independent judiciary etc. Question is apart from hounding opposition what has buhari done to improve the anti corruption fighting tools he met on ground?
