I have a lot of muslim friends who get suddenly pious at the hours of prayers but at other times, they can empty one full storex tank of McDowells, Andre and the likes. Alcohol alone is a green card in Ja'anamah [hell fire]. lol!

There's nothing wrong with being being religious but the people around me discouraged me and until when anybody can show me what good religion has done to mankind other than the assurance of paradise, I'll be like this.

However, such ones(the stumbled) are not to be shelve from their sin(s) if they persists in them cos the bible says that their conscience should be able to detect what is good/bad and would be judged accordingly. So whether one belong to a certain religion is not the issue, the issue is 'how do you uphold what you believe attitudinally' even in your privacy?

of course, the fact that u turn away from religion does not mean you will be shelve from your sins. as a human we know what is right and what is no matter how ignorant u claim to be. even without reading d bible your conscience will tell u what u are doing wrong
