@Emmatighana, It looks like you're new here so i will forgive your ignorance on the nooks and crannies of this forum. Now don't tell me all you can see on this forum is news on TB Joshua. The recent stories on TB Joshua featured on this forum are only two(2) and FYI, Seun, the owner of this forum chooses the news to feature as he deems fit! Am no member of pastor Joshua's congregation thus i stand to gain nothing from promoting him. Neither am i condemning him. Who am i to criticize a man of God but if you had been here for long, you would have noticed that i usually post current and 'hot' news and also comment on such news only. In your own words "INTERNET IS LARGE" and the last time i checked this was still a news forum with plenty news so if you read something that you don't like please don't comment on it and leggy off to another topic. Now as i said earlier, i don't trade insults in a public forum so am out. Ping. . . |

emmatigana: Dude, are u serious? Branding i and Seun stupid? Whoa! Sorry mate but i won't stoop so low to trade insults on a public forum. Its a habit of mine to read wide and therefore chanced on this article on GhanaWeb. Mind you, am not promoting Pastor Joshua nor trying to ridicule him. Infact, i don't judge nobody and i believe only God can judge mankind. I believe the man is a prophet of God but just that this particular story is being discussed heavily on other forums and everybody is throwing in his/her 2 cents. So plssss, go take a chill pill. But hey, don't come back crying to us when Seun fries ya a*ss for calling him 'stupid' |

diasporian: Are you serious? That was culled from a Ghanaian website so has 9ja peeps got to do with this? @ diasporan The Ghana coach has confirmed that indeed he spoke to the Pastor but the No10 has denied ever speaking to him though the video depicts that he spoke to someone on the phone purporting to be the Ghana captain (No.10 - Ayew). Thus, where from this "Bad belle" stuff? Huh? |

diasporian: Chei! Listen to yaself. Believe in the man? Its rather God you should believe in and not man! Well, i believe Ps Joshua is a messenger of God just as Pastor Oyedepo, Pastor Ashimolowo and the others. But his gift is quite different form the others. Others have the gift of Teaching, Prophesying, Pastoring and and a whole lot. His(Ps. TB Joshua) is deep Prophesying-seeing through the future. The issue at hand is the captain of the Ghanaian team, Dede Ayew (No.10) Ps. Joshua was professed to have spoken to said he never spoke to him! Watch that video, Pastor Joshua asked to speak to the No.10 (Dede Ayew) and we all saw and heard Ps. Joshua speaking to somebody on the phone and that was allegedly the No. 10. watch this clip between min 8:25 - 8:55 [ http://www.youtube.com/user/linesjames#p/a/u/1/bZWVLiKWpz4 ] The player is now saying otherwise. NOTE: The head coach though has confirmed that he indeed spoke to Ps Joshua. Its only the said player No. 10 who's claiming he never spoke with the pastor. |

. . . I don't know the "Prophet" . . . . so, Video was a FRAUD The captain of the Under-20 national team, the Black Satellites, Andre Dede Ayew has denied speaking to Nigerian spiritual leader, Prophet T.B Joshua moments before the Satellites engaged the Brazilians in the penalty shootout of the just ended under-20 world cup final in Egypt. The head coach of the Satellites, Sellas Tetteh confirmed to Citi News that he spoke to the Nigerian prophet before and during the final match against Brazil in the final in which the satellites emerged victors. Prophet T.B Joshua, the leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria, who is also a very close friend to President John Atta Mills, was captured in a video footage on youtube.com (link) discussing the game with Tetteh. The spiritual leader told Sellas Tetteh about Daniel Addo’s first half red card before the match and also mentioned that the game would be decided through penalty shootout. “…the game, as I’ve seen it, first half-no goal, second half-no goal. You’ll do everything and your people will everything, no way. Yes, I see that penalty will determine, and that penalty will determine the winner…,” he predicted. Captain Andre Dede Ayew was also directed to effect the first spot kick because he had a lucky charm to the team’s success according to Pastor Joshua. “The whole thing will be determined by penalty, and in the penalty too you need God’s favour and God’s mercy. The number 10 should be the one to first play for Ghana. If this number 10 plays for us, we are assured of winning. We will have the world cup in Jesus name.” Prophet TB Joshua forecasted. Dede Ayew, in an interview with Citi Sports reporter Nana Boakye Yiadom however denied speking to T.B Joshua during the penalty shootout although in the Video footage the Prophet was seen issuing instructions to somebody he said was Andre Dede Ayew. "I don't know who is TB Joshua, I just heard he is someone who was praying for us but all of us know it wasn't only pastors praying, everybody in Ghana was praying. Both Muslims and Christians prayed for us and we are grateful to all of them." He said. On his part however, Sellas, confirmed to Citi News that he took inspiration from the Prophet T.B Joshua in winning the trophy. “I knew several spiritual men prayed for the team but Prophet Joshua was with us on the job. He was speaking to us right on the job so we believe that he was also an inspirational factor in our winning.” He said. Prophet TB Joshua is believed to have predicted the occurrence of some major events correctly including President Mills’ victory in the 2008 general elections and the death of pop star Michael Jackson. Source:Citi News Whats going on? well, i believe TB Joshua spoke with the coach alright but did he ever speak with Dede Ayew before he took his penalty as we were made to believe in the the video; min 8:25 - 8:55 [ http://www.youtube.com/user/linesjames#p/a/u/1/bZWVLiKWpz4 ] It looks like Ayew is saying otherwise. . . . or is it cos Ayew is a moslem he doesn't wanna give credit to the prophet? Only God can Judge! |

“Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34). Just that i don't know what to make of this. Verily, it can happen so who am i to doubt? I know the gift of prophesying is there. |
Sports / TB Joshua Prayed For Ghana To Win The U-20? by Africason(m): 10:54am On Oct 20, 2009 |
Prophet T.B. Joshua, the Nigerian ‘Man Of God’ with close links to President John Evans Atta Mills, has flaunted his role in the satellites’ triumphant, declaring that he is the brain behind the victory of the newly crowned World Under 20 champions. With President John Evans Atta Mils already acknowledging his role as the power behind the throne, Prophet T. B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has himself revealed his own side of the story. President Mills’ spiritual father, apparently playing God, divulged to Complete Sports, a Lagos-based sporting newspaper in an interview at the church premises on Saturday that Ghana’s President, Professor Atta Mills, and the Black Satellites coach, Sellas Tetteh, were constantly in touch with him on Friday morning (match day) for prayers and counseling. According to him, ‘Mr. President and the coach were constantly in touch with me on the morning of the match. We talked severally before, during and after the match, I told them that they should remain focused on the tasked ahead of them, with a special warning that they should not hustle to score a goal in regulation time. I warned that if they should look for goals, they would end up losing the game. “They called me again at half time and I repeated the same thing. This time around, I specifically told them not to rush things as the match will be settled after extra time. That means after 15 minutes of two halves. “When the penalty kicks were about to start, they called me again to ask how it will go. I just told the coach that he should allow his number 10 (Andre Ayew) to take the first kick and they will end up to winning the game. “They took my advise and everything went favourably well at the end of the day, and we are all celebrating this great feat by our African brothers.” It would be recalled that the revered man of God had predicted correctly, matches involving the Super Eagles recently. On the list are the matches between Ghana and Nigeria at the Nations Cup in 2008, Nigeria versus Tunisia and the crunch tie between the Super Eagles and Mambas of Mozambique. na_so: The only thing i will give Mikel is he huffs and puffs for nothing but hey, as you rightly said age is on his side so he can still learn. As for him being the better passer of the ball, i bet to differ. The guy always passes sideways. Watch Chelsea matches and you'll realize which of them has accurate piercing passes. Essien always find the killer passes. As for the 'positional discipline and man marking' thing, it all depends on the topposition. Essien singlehandedly destroyed Gerrard(Liverpool) when they met in UCL. He marked and terrorized Gerrard out of the game completely. If you want to shackle someone, put Essien on him and the job is done. He will even follow that person to the loo(washroom)! Lol . Essien tends to bomb forward when the opposition isn't much of an opposition and when he's told to stay put, he does that exceptionally well as well. But hey, Mikel is relatively young so he'll pick up but for now, let him learn from the master |

This is a non starter. Evra wins! The guy is a little machine! You should rather compare Cashley Cole and Evra. Cole and Evra are the best two left backs in the world to me. Evra in your team is like an extra left winger though he handles his defensive duties with distinction as well. Thats ma 2cents. . . |

Sports / Bid For Chicago 2016: And Obama Was Humbled by Africason(m): 6:41pm On Oct 02, 2009 |
Congratulations Rio!! Despite four years, millions of dollars in planning and a last-ditch pitch from President Obama, the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid ultimately fell short. Even the president's star billing wasn't enough to put Chicago over the top in what some experts said was the tightest race for the Games in its history. But the president's pitch, along with the star power of First Lady Michelle Obama and TV queen Oprah Winfrey, couldn't sway enough votes. Chicago were eliminated in the first round of the 2016 Olympic voting. In the short term, CBS 2 Mike Flannery reports that the Chicago defeat leaves Obama politically wounded by taking on a fight that he really didn't have to take. I thought Obama was/is a strategist and he knows how to pick his fights! Na dis one don turn him over.
