That guy is a legend! I bet when he was turning profits for them it was kool. Probably, he was encouraged by the bonuses and pecks he was gona receive hence 'gambling' away such money? ![]() |
Gbenge 77:Keep deluding yourself bro, Here's the FIFA stats: http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/statisticsandrecords/headtohead/team1=gha/team2=nga/index.html So are you going to keep denying the undeniable? ![]() NB: Oh, you can expand it by clicking on the "advanced search" button. |
jokingmary:It looks like those stats were cooked by the OP. Here is the real stats from the FIFA page: Matches Played 47; Ghana won 19; Naija 11; Draws 17, Goals scored for Ghana 72 and for Naija 44. http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/statisticsandrecords/headtohead/team1=gha/team2=nga/index.html So when it comes to football, Ghana bitch-slaps Naija. ![]() |
Who in the UK watched SPOOKS yesturday? It was about 9ja and the oil business and how a British expat tried to sabotage the peace process in 9ja. . . I found it intriguing to say the least. Here is the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00v2xpc/Spooks_Series_9_Episode_2/ |
. . . And who wants his a55 at Utd anyway? The impudence! ![]() |
Man, am bored. Can't we give this a rest?! Am even shocked this rantings are upto 14 pages now. . . 9jas, Ghanaians, lets give this a rest! Our gibberish rantings on this forum ain't gona influence both the Ghanaian and 9ja authorities. . . so lets pause for a second and desist from name callings and all these innuendos. We've all got better things to do with our precious time, innit? Am out. . . Ping. . . |
londoner:I am inclined to concur with part of what u just wrote. . . at least No Man is a Paragon of Virtues as I keep saying , but with population stats aside, 9ja folk crimes are extreme and excessive in nature. Am not saying some Ghanaians are not criminals as well. There's a black sheep in every household but 9jas black sheeps are extremely dangerous The loud and aggressive nature of most 9ja folks doesn't help as well. BTW, You and I ranting on this forum cannot and will not change the actions and inactions of the Ghanaian authorities. So , i better leave it as it is now. |
tpiah:Which hometown? You mean Germany? That's where I was born and raised. . . but ya, I do call Ghana home cos my mum is half Ghanaian(Half Ghanaian, half 9ja) and my dad is half Ghanaian(half Ghanaian, half German) as well. . . BTW, did you read what Emma, a fellow Nigerian wrote? in Ghana in 2005 when all the hotels in Accra were raided ( except of course the big hotels) and foreigners especially Nigerians were arrested. It was a harrowing experience and I was in the cell for almost 6 hours. But to their credit, we didnt pay a dime to get out, most of use were released after being interviewed. But could you blame them?In the very hotel I stayed for about 2 months (then like 70 cedis or N1000 a day)-4 Nigerian armed robbers and their girl friends had been staying. They would come back every morning-order beer at the outdoor bar and in loud voices speaking Nigerian languages celebrate their overnight exploits. At that time 70% of all armed robbers were Nigerians and 95% of all 419 fraudsters=-Nigerians.Of course, you gona ignore it and continue to spout 'whatever' as Gbawe and his cronies do so often. No one is saying Ghana is paradise but at least they don't travel outside and indulge in mass social vices as most 9ja folks do. Indeed, they might be some isolated cases of Ghanaians doing the untowards but not on a massive scale as most 9ja folks do when in someone else's country. . . Ping. . . . |
Are you folks still on this?! I shock give you guys. ![]() ode remo:Listen to that dude too. . . the arrogance in his spoutings. . . invade where? ROFLMAO. Have you even stopped fighting among yourselves let alone invade someone's country? The impudence of a 'dying cocroach'! Dude, put your house inorder first before contemplating expanding your backyard. . .  |
tpiah:Looool. . . . criminals? What a joke! ![]() |
@Manny4life Paragraph 1 --- A child born in a foreign country to U.S. citizen parents may be both a U.S. citizen and a citizen of the country of birth. What does that tell you, when that child comes here, he's entitled to citizenship through his parent, it doesn't say it cannot be revoked so I'm trying hard to get your point. As the statement said; Born in a foreign country.Oh ya, it can be revoked but what i was trying to say is that it can as well be possible to obtain those 3 passports legally by Abrantie if he falls into that category. thnx 4 understanding it though. . . It can be revoked if for eg. the person voluntarily opts for the other citizenship and its not by marriage. |
@ Manny4life ya, i read that part and even quoted it in my first rebuttal. . . so you see, Abrantie can obtain those 3 passports legally and cleanly. ![]() |
manny4life:Ya, you can't argue it cos its written on the site of the US government. And hey, you better not deviate from it cos no one mentioned revocation here. Did you even read the non highlighted part of my rebuttal? I guess not. It talked about how one could lose his/her citizenship so its you rather who doesn't know squat about the subject. Here is the link if you wana update yourself: http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1753.html The non-highlighted part that talked about how one could lose his citizenship: . . . However, a person who acquires a foreign citizenship by applying for it may lose U.S. citizenship. In order to lose U.S. citizenship, the law requires that the person must apply for the foreign citizenship voluntarily, by free choice, and with the intention to give up U.S. citizenship.I showed you how Abrantie could attain that 3 pasports from the US, Canada and Ghana and you're beating about the bush here. Deal with it bruv. . . Simples. ![]() |
tpiah:Now, am hitting some nerves, abi? Repeat this after me. . . 'many 9ja folks and the word manners can never be used in the same sentence cos that would be deemed tautology!' ![]() @ Ranoscky:I luv dat !! I can see am getting into some people's head! ![]() @manny4life Dude don't get ahead of yourself ok. Again obtaining just a U.S. citizenship takes a minute and I don't mean literally a minute, it takes a while ok, and I mean years not even if you fast track it by getting married which is even stricter now. Just because you are a U.S. citizenship does not grant you Canadian citizenship although their immigration laws are somewhat identical. I would speak on behalf of the U.S. Citizenship; it doesn't matter whether you gave up your citizenship or not from Ghanaian, in as long as you file an N-400 (obviously you have to meet the residency and true faith requirement), the form clearly ask you what is your citizenship(s), because you not a born citizen, so you can deny deny from now till tomorrow, it won't change that process. I want to know between U.S. and Canada, which one he had first?Listen, a persons may have dual nationality by automatic operation of different laws rather than by choice. For example, a child(Abrantie) born in a foreign country to U.S. citizen parents may be both a U.S. citizen and a citizen of the country(Ghana) of birth. Abrantie could then marry a Canadian citizen and thus become a Canadian by marrige as well. So now you get the drift? A U.S. citizen may acquire foreign citizenship by marriage, or a person naturalized as a U.S. citizen may not lose the citizenship of the country of birth.U.S. law does not mention dual nationality or require a person to choose one citizenship or another. Also, a person who is automatically granted another citizenship does not risk losing U.S. citizenship. However, a person who acquires a foreign citizenship by applying for it may lose U.S. citizenship. In order to lose U.S. citizenship, the law requires that the person must apply for the foreign citizenship voluntarily, by free choice, and with the intention to give up U.S. citizenship. ![]() |
tpiah: Oh Lawd!! This dude is all over the place. . . . Manners you spewing about? Who in the name of GAWD lack manners than some of you 9jas? You crackin me up BIG time! Looool ![]() |
manny4life:Loool. . . exactly my point! So how could he be described as a fraud?! Ghana allows dual nationality US and Canada recognizes that it exist and thus he could well be carrying a maximum of 3 passports. He could forfeit that of Ghana's thus possessing only 2. What i wanted to clarify was that the guy could legally be carrying a maximum of 3 passports cos being a permanent resident in auzzie doesnt entitle him to their passports. Hence the accussations being bundled around that he is carrying 4 passports are wrong. Simples! ![]() |
tpiah: Now, you see your folly? lool. . . .Well, I have 2 passports and i could still get 9jas own if i want but not now Next year, am gona marry my 9ja fiancee so that could make it easier as well. . . . was gona go 4 9jas one based on ma grandops. ![]() |
Gbawe:Well, you could start by asking your wife if she was difiled when she was a pikkin in Ghana? Loool ![]() |
FYI, I'm an American citizen, a Canadian citizen, an Australian permanent resident and a Ghanaian citizen (by birth) but guess what, I'm not on NL 24/7 moaning about how Canada, USA or Aussie did me wrong. Dude, YOU are a Ghanaian through marriage. Suck it up and deal with any sucker trying to give you a tough time while living in your own country. abelian:Now, look up the above statement, where did the guy say he's got 4 passports? Why are people sooo ignorant on this board?! The guy said he's an American and canadian citizen, permanent resident in Australia and Ghanaian by birth. That means he holds US and Canadian passports (thats 2 passports). Him being permanent resident in Auzzie doesn't mean he's got their passport. Him being a Ghanaian citizen by birth could mean 2 things(he could have Ghanaian passport if and only if, the aforementioned countries allow dual nationality). Damn. . . this aint rocket science. Even my 7 year old niece would understand this whole stuff but i guess not some grown adults on this board! Jeeez!!! Do you folks do Comprehensive skills and analytical thinking in 9ja? ![]() |
MrPrsdent:Thank you for digging a copy of that law up! Where did it say foreigners would have to cough up $300,000 BUSINESS FEE? The word is EQUITY CAPITAL and not Business fee! Gawd!! Where from these unintelligent and misinformed clowns from? ![]() Note: There's a big difference between a business fee and someone's start up Capital! |
Abrantie:You wicked A55! ![]() |
confetti: confetti:That tells you they don't want Foreigners to set up petty trading in Ghana. they only want folks who're gonna do real business . . . |
@Gbawe, It is you Gbawe and your ilk who are not intelligent enough to realize that that $300,000 is NOT a levy(as to collect in tax, fines or tarrifs) or business fee for those who would want to operate businesses in Ghana. That $300,000 is the requisite CAPITAL needed for someone to set up business in Ghana! Oh lawd, you and your likes drooling on this board certainly lack comprehensive skills to understand the whole story. Now, 1 more time, CAPITAL is NOT a BUSINESS FEE! GAWD!!! Whoever featured this story should change the caption. . . You Gbawe also lack comprehensive and analytical skills to realise that i stated categorically that am no Ghanaian but have both Ghanaina and 9ja blood in me. My mum is half Ghanaian, half Nigerian. My dad is half German ,half Ghanaian, and I was born and raised in Germany making me German! So why you always call me a Ghanaian is beyond me! Did you ever do comprehensive skills in School? ![]() Continue to be in denial the real reasons why most Nigerians are disliked on this globe. You seem to DELUDE yourself that you are industrous and all that hence the hatred for some of you lot. . . guess what? The Sud Africans hated you because of your Social vices. . . the Ghanaians are begining to do same for the same reasons. Read what this Kenyan also wrote: whats all the hullabaloo about nothing. The law should and will be applied and thoroughly enforced when and in whatever situation that is called for. I find it really funny the insinuation of victimization by Nigerians over illegalities. In Kenya the country is host to a wide diverse populace of nationalities but non behaves like the Nigerians. In every irregular or illegal venture they are prone to be the major culprits. Its a pity that most Nigerians think that being resourceful or successful needs an illegality to attain it. We will not and never condone such behavior. Now, is he also a Ghanaian? Such are the traits most Nigerian folks espouse when abroad! Indulging in all kinds of vices! A fellow Nigerian also brought up this issue not long ago. Here: Hey Nairalanders,But a dishonest person like you will always be in denial because you prop up yourself and think everything is OK I provided some few links for you and some of the pharisees on here to see the armed robbery and 'bad' things some Nigerians are into in Ghana, but you chose to be silent on it. Such is the hypocrisy of yourself and your ilks. Food for thought . . . 1 Bad Apple spoils the Rest. . . if you don't know. No one is disputing the good deeds some of my 9ja folks are doing in Ghana but the few bad nuts in the society are giving 9ja a very bad name. Ranoscky:Sorry, Whats your name again? Where from this douchebag again? I bet you must be suffering from Meningioma and Cerebellar hemangioblastoma! ![]() |
So do Sud Africans also hate you guys? Look, we got to find out whats up that 9jas always have this tag around their necks and try to resolve it. . . but with folks like Gbawe, I guess that ain't gona happen soon cos he's always in denial! That is sad indeed! |
Quote from: Africason on Today at 03:20:12 AMThat cracked me up, man! Like i said 'no man is paragon of virtues' ![]() But hey, on a more serious note. . The heading is misleading. . . Ghanaian authorities are only advocating folks come up with $300,000 capital (seed money) to start a biz. It isn't a business fee, its just a capital needed to be raised before you can start a business. |
@ Gbawe, You now realise it hurts to accuse others falsely? You quoted Ghanaians hate Nigerians. . . I intentionally inscribed that statement that 'very armed robbery. . . ' I knew i was going to hit a nerve and lo, I was right, I did hit a nerve big time! ![]() Couldn't you get any news that state a Ghanaian involvement in armed robberies in Nigeria? Now take a look at the following stories i just dug up: 1. Olasie Valentine, a 28-year-old Nigerian and a member of group who sustained gun shot wounds on his right thigh, was picked up by the Police Patrol team near the toll booth on the Accra-Tema Motorway.http://www.modernghana.com/news2/87911/1/police-arrest-armed-robber.html 2. He explained that the fight against armed robbery and other criminal activities was not limited to known members only.http://www.modernghana.com/news2/270492/1/suspected-armed-robber-arrested.html 3. A driver of a pick-up truck who allegedly identified one of the robbers was shot dead at the scene of the robbery.http://www.modernghana.com/news2/52973/1/dambai-police-arrest-armed-robber.html 4. According to Mrs. Agnes O. Sika-Nartey, Assistant Commissioner of Police and regional commander, the deceased armed robber who was the driver was identified as Clement Bantey, 32 years old.http://www.modernghana.com/news2/22370/1/suspected-armed-robber-dies-in-police-cell.html 5. The rest are Kwabena Atta, 34, Maxwell Akuffo, 23 and Ahmed Abiola, 26, also a Nigerian. The source said the police retrieved a locally made pistol with five rounds of ammunition and a toy pistol.http://www.modernghana.com/news2/78548/1/police-kill-armed-robber-and-arrest-four-others.html 6. Early September this year, a communication was filed with the African Commission against Libya by a Nigerian Non-Governmental Organi-zation, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP). It alleged that over 200 Nigerians are on death row for offences ranging from immigration, murder, drug and armed robbery.http://www.modernghana.com/news/241578/1/libya-halts-execution-of-nigerians-on-death-row.html 7. WITH THE support of a youth association in Ashaiman, a notorious armed robber, Himbo Abdul-Raham Mohammed, who has been named in most armed robbery cases in Ashaiman, Tema and beyond has been nabbed.http://www.modernghana.com/newsthread1/146935/1/ 8. The Koforidua Community Tribunal on January 9, chaired by Mr. G.K. Addae, remanded three suspected Nigerian armed robbers in prison custody to reappear on February 13, this year, for robbing one Mr. Emmanuel Oti, a businessman at Akwatia of ¢220million.http://www.modernghana.com/news2/19813/1/court-remands-3-foreigners-for-armed-robbery.html There are more in the achives but I certainly don't have the time for your kind. It is you Gbawe and your ilks that would love everybody to believe evrything is OK. Loo, its noted the worl over that most Nigerians revels in shaddy deals(419, armed robberies) and you definitely don't want to admit to that fact. Listen Sud Africans would never wake up one day and say, hey, lets deal with these Nigerian folks. Something triggered it and that 'something' cannot be far-fetched. Look at what some of your fellow 9ja nairalnders wrote: Hey Nairalanders,https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-244102.0.html Obviously that came from a Ghanaians as well? yeah? Stop acting like the ostrich and face realities! Face your problems head on. . . resolve it, mate and 9ja will certainly be a better place to live. Now you and I know very well that NO MAN IS A PARAGON OF VIRTUE but most Nigerian folks make nonsense of that expression. I hope those in Europe and the States don't get dragged into this cause that would be disastrous then. . . the enormity of fraud most Nigerians commit outside is beyond imagination!!! I wouldn't exclude Ghanaians but that of Nigerians, are quite unprecedented! @Gbawe Ghanaians are amongst the robbers in Nigeria along with Chadians , Togolese, Beninoise , Cameroonians , etc . You are ignorant and an example of a Ghanaian who thinks that Nigerians are always the "perps" while Ghanaians and other Africans are "victims". Nigerians don't deal in self-deciet like some of you. I will now prove , in direct contradiction of what you wrote , that foreigners are indeed involved in armed robbery and crime in Nigeria. I hope you can now remove your ignorant , shamelessly biased and prejudiced self from this forum.I thought you said you were gona prove Ghanaians involvement in armed robbries in Nigeria? Do you want me to remove myself from this forum? Really?!! Now, I know you're deluded BIG TIME!! This guy crack me up!! Come again, Sir!! |
My friend you are neither Ghanaian nor Nigerian yet you only have negative things to say about Nigeria? I can see you are really neutral !! If you were robbed by a Nigerian so what ? Have I said that Nigerians are not commiting crimes in Ghana? Are Ghanaians not commiting heinous crimes in Nigeria also along with Chadians, Cameroonians , Togolese, Beninoise , et al? The point is that the Nigerian armed robbery myth is overblown in Ghana in relation to reality because Ghanaians naturally wan't to believe the worst about Nigerians to justify hating the "arrogant invaders" .Now, I know you're certainly deluded! Ghanaians don't hate Nigerians. Hate is a strong word. Some of them don't like some some Nigerian folks coz their attitudes. Most nigerians are noted the world all over for their vices like scams(419). I particularly don't hate or envy Nigerians cos: 1. I wasn't brought up in that way 2. I've that blood in me 3. I have a British Nigerian fiancee 4. i am doing very well - I earn a healthy sum every month. So i suggest you 'sing' your infantile analysis to the birds of the air! Have said it several time that I wasn't coming back to this topic. Well, the time is right, i guess. Ciao! |
mdsocks:What the heck?! Didn't you read what i said about Glo on page 2? I don't know squat about Glo! And oh, it seems like you hate hearing the truth, huh? You calling my unfortunate incident 'stories'? Oh you so fall into that bad Nigerian category! anyway , am out |
Gbawe:@Gbawe, Loool. . . You sure you underatsnd what you just wrote? A person who works in the Financial industry doesn't know how to collate stats. a market researcher for 4 years doen't know how to coolate stats? Thats what a Nigerian woul;d let you believe. . . . Anyway, to tell you the truth, that Trade law wasn't enacted to target only Nigerians and its only self-absorbed Nigerian folks like yourself that think it was all about you. As if Ghanaians have got time for your ilks. They enacted their laws to deal with the influx of shady business being paraded around by foreign nationals, so cdeal with it! Did i protronize any Nigerian here? Better come again, mate!TBH, Ghanaians are weary of most Nigerians becaause of the vices they promote. . . simple as that! But hey, the good onmes are enjoying their life and lifestyle in Ghana peacefully. Do you want Ghanaians to sit idle and let their country be turned into an anarchy state like Nigeria and the other countries in the sub-region? BTW, am no Ghanaian though i have their blood in me(well, the same % as Nigeria's). And oh, that armed robberry thing verily happened! Are Nigerians beyond armed robbery? Do you read Ghanaian newspapers or watch their TV? Your assertions are laughable to say the least! |
@ Gbawe Why do you shy away from the Sud Africa issues, the causes and the bad name that loads of Nigerians give the good ones when abroad? I cited a real example of what transpired when i visited Ghana - that gang of armed robbers with their Nigerian leader! The seemingly arrest of armed robbers and other social vice instigators in Ghana involving Nigerians? Have you ever heard of Ghanaian or for that matter, a foreigner involved in armed robberies in Nigeria before? Every armed robbery group in Ghana has Nigerian folks in it. . . everytime you see their police parading nabbed armed robbers, you see at least 1 Nigerian in it. Now that is very worrying indeed! So don't blame Ghanaians, Sud Africans and other countries! In anyway, the case being discussed is even all about Ghana enforcing their Trade laws and not these drivels. |
londoner:@ Londoner, Oh Lawd!! Sista you making this dude called Gbawe get into your head?! If you could allow him to manipulate you over your love life then am sorry but you being fickle minded! Have you tasted whats on the ground? Listen, i've been to Ghana several times and there're law abiding Nigerians in Ghana doing great and being appreciated by loads of Ghanaians. Let me tell you something. About 3 years ago, I visited Ghana with my fiancee, a British born Nigerian. We were attacked by armed robbers around 1am one fateful night and guess what? Their leader was a Nigerian! Though they had some Ghanaian folks in the group. These guys came with machetes and axes and they ordered us open the doors or they were gona break and 'deal with us'. The guy had a strong Nigerian accent, smoking weed, was topless and only had towel around his neck, sweating profusely like a pregnant pig! These are some of the Nigerian guys that give the country a bad name. Many Nigerians don't when abroad indulges in all sort of vices that tarnish the image of the country. Did you think Sud Africa turned xenophobic against Nigerians overnight? Thats exactly whats happening in Ghana. . . the bad apples spoil the good ones. Ghanaians at first were very much receptive towards Nigerians but it all started to changed when almost every bad incident in Ghana had Nigerian face in it. There were at times that almost every armed robbery gang caught by the police had Nigerians in it. Ghanaians just got tired of Nigerians there and then! Sista, don't make the drivel that Gbawe spew put you off. At least you know your man better! He's still married to a Ghanaian, abi? I mdean Gbawe, isn't he still married to a Ghanaian? ![]() |
