A driver has taken to social media to seek help in finding the mother of a little baby a passenger “forgot” in his car.

According to the driver, he picked up passengers from Ogbaku to Owerri, but on getting to Owerri, after every passenger alighted, the baby was left in his vehicle.


The mother of the child reportedly left the baby in the vehicle while she alighted.

In the video serving rounds online, the driver begged the mother or anyone who knew the baby to come and pick her up.

However, reacting to the video netizens suggest that the woman might have deliberately left the baby in the car to get rid of her. See some comments below,

The father-of-four regularly shares photos of him kissing his only daughter, Harper Seven, and this has led to criticisms in the past.

The FCT police command has arrested one of its female officers identified simply as Ruth for reportedly inflicting injuries on her 10-year-old niece, identified only as Miracle.

Ruth who caught Miracle stealing a piece of meat from her pot of soup at their Dutse Alhaji residence on Christmas Eve, reportedly dipped her hand in a hot water.

Policemen were alerted after neighbors heard the minor's cry. An eyewitness said;

“On the Christmas Eve, she caught the young girl stealing a piece of meat from her pot of soup which she prepared for Christmas.

“She was angry with her and tied the two hands of her niece with rope and put them inside hot water.

“Her neighbours heard her crying aloud and later she ran out. They were surprised at what they saw. The girl sustained serious injuries on the two hands, and one of the neighbours, who could not bear it, called the police.

“It was the police that rushed her to the General Hospital in Kubwa. The policewoman is still at the Dutse Alhaji division.”


FCT police spokeserosn, DSP Josephine Adeh confirmed Ruth's arrest and also disclosed that an investigation is ongoing.
