Dutch starts track record is really poor in this league Wilfried Bony scored 31 goals in one season in the Ere division. It took him 4 seasons to score that in the EPL. |

Roland17: You can not shame the shameless. How is a 15 year old detained for this long without bail? How was she arrested and interrogated without a lawyer? There are so many things wrong with this story even if the DSS is vindicated for her pregnancy.
How about the 25 year old? How did she get pregnant? Can they show us something to prove she was actually pregnant before her arrest? The sad part is that the family will be bullied to stay quiet after her release. It is easy to ascertain the age of a pregnancy. Where are all those NGOs and human rights groups? A group of them should band together and take it up with the authorities. 1st is to determine the age of the pregnancy and then carry out prenatal paternity testing before termination of those pregnancies (hopefully it’s not too late for that). |

Ellexy: Confidence is what I believe he's severely lacking right now. I see him picking up when the team starts doing well again. He has to reinvent himself and become a system player. I don't think he will ever go back to that 1v1 Rashford of a few years ago. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 3:26pm On Aug 20, 2022 |
Ellexy: Rashford of now can't even dribble a man in his front, pick out a pass or strike the ball like he use to. Maybe the injury made him lose a pace or two which is visible as his explosiveness is gone, how about the basics he was doing before? Did you see how Falcao's finishing deserted him after he returned from injury? If you lose whatever makes you outstanding and doubt starts to creep in you will subsequently lose your confidence. Rashford has no confidence on the pitch these days. The pressure of playing for United added to his diminished physical capabilities is further affecting him. Remember he was never the best technician with the ball anyway. It was his acceleration and agility that made him stand out. P.S If you know the biomechanics of the human body you will know that the back is crucial to striking the ball. |

adebayo201: Invariably, Sir Olè should be held responsible for what happens to Rashford. They pushed him. Instead of him to go under the blade, they'll just prep him for another game. Young players sometimes need to be protected from themselves. They are young and dumb and most have never experienced major injury and they recover from injury quickly, until they don't. Even the injury that Rooney had prior to the 2006 World Cup that led to him sleeping in an oxygen tent and rushing back for the tournament altered his career progression. |

Michael Owen was a Ballon d'Or winner at 21 and was finished by 25 and the major regret he had was refusing to listen to his trainers and playing through injuries in his early 20s. |

Ellexy: The back and shoulder never heal for 2 years now? Ask Tiger Woods how his back injury healed. While you are at it ask Michael Owen and Radamel Falcao how their injuries healed. Or Marco Van Basten. You think the human body is like a robotic structure that you can just remove a part and replace with a brand new one? |

TrebleChamp:
, i just feel Barella is closer to De Jong in style than SMS. We shall need a CM to partner Casemiro, De Jong could have been a very good fit but...... Type of player is one thing. Quality of player is another thing. Barella is averaging about 82% pass accuracy for his career to FDJ's 90% while averaging only 45 passes per game to FDJ's 65 passes. If we offer 80m pounds for Barella our United ancestors will not forgive us. Barella is solid but not 80m solid. |

Gambit001: Alright, I get it now. Please what are the flaws in Anthony's game or aspects of his game that might not be good enough for the EPL He might struggle with pace and power but he looks a better player than Gakpo. Just that Ajax are asking for crazy unreasonable money. |

TrebleChamp: Can't we tempt Inter Milan with £80m for Barella, or ETH should just trust Iqbal to play that role.... 80m POUNDS for Barella. Say who die? Why not pay the FDJ transfer fee and salary owed for about same amount. Even removing FDJ we shouldn't pay that amount for Barella. |

Gambit001: Why? I am seeing good finishing but a loose touch and not much dribbling technique just like Pepe's Ligue 1 highlights. He is doing mainly cut inside and shoot. From the highlights i am seeing he might struggle to create those chances when the marking is tighter than he is used to in the Dutch league. |

Expert17: Good points. Every single point you made also applies to Antony. He is not even getting good numbers in play division and we are asked to pay close to 100M. No. That 100m is very crazy of course. What i am saying is if we get both of them we could be swindled twice rather than once. A difference between both though is that we have seen Antony flourish in the Champions League. Is there no other left footed right winger in Europe that can be a cheaper alternative to Antony? |

patrickmuf: A CM every day...
If FDJ is not feasible, they should quickly try Neves as Wolves might want to recoup some of the money they paid for Nunes...Milinkovic Savic is another option... Exactly. Unless there is more money to spend i would buy 1 forward and 1 CM. If Ronaldo is leaving then we need 2 forwards and 1 CM. In all permutations we still need a starting CM if not those forwards will just be stranded during games. |

I liked McKenna's team's style. Neil Wood's team also played good football but the guy used hamper them with his tactical tweaks thinking he was the next Pep. |
