The problem is the EPL clubs themselves. The average EPL club doesn't have cash flow problems so they make their players expensive when another club wants to buy them and this causes a knock on effect all over Europe. You can't buy Cucu baboni for 60m and price Hakimi for 40m.

The lack of height is an issue but he seems to have the intelligence and jumping ability to minimize it somewhat. It shouldn't be overblown but we can't just sweep it under the carpet also. I am happy with his proactive defending, acceleration, passing range, and very crucially his mentality.

It was not about the relationship with Raiola alone. Actually that was secondary. Pogba, Lukaku and Zlatan came here.

He was born to an ex-Leeds and Man City player whose leg was broken by Roy Keane. So we know that he is not getting pressured from home to sign for United.

The most important reason though is why would a player who has the whole world at his feet choose a dysfunctional and poorly managed club like United with poor prospects of trophies when he could go to Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG e.t.c and score more goals and win more trophies.

If one stops viewing it from a United fan point of view it makes absolutely no sense. It is just tough to see him do it for the noisy neighbours. When the City players understand his style and appreciate that when he is not open he is still open that is when the league will start shedding tears.

Because ETH is a proper coach. He must have realised that while Sancho can be decent at RW Elanga is useless there. The right thing to do is to play Sancho on the right and Elanga on the left where he can be a bit productive and that’s were he created the goal. He also hit the post from there and got TAA carded as well.

It’s like when I used to complain about how Magwaya was slowing down our ball movement when he was playing LCB but people here said it didn’t matter. However one of the first things both Rangnick and ETH did when they came was to switch him to RCB.

Magwaya persisting at LCB and Elanga ever playing at RW at all were the decisions of a limited manager.

I am definitely not biased against Bruno. I just felt it was risky to do because if it had turned into wrestling match between him and the Liverpool players it is not beyond the ref to issue yellow card to both parties. Who started it is not usually taken into consideration.

I was not even dragging him but i felt it was unnecessary for him to get involved in all that when he was already on a yellow card. Refs have done crazier things and if we go down to 10 men and lose the match all we will get is an apology from the ref but the 3 points don go.

In every thing in life one must apply wisdom. Time that ref can easily add back on the clock is not worth a 2nd yellow card.
