I am not blaming any region, all I am asking is for Nigeria to restructure so that each region can grow in its own pace and each region can carry out policies that benefit its people. Is it too much to ask?
Look at the issue of sharia, the reason why the north cannot practice sharia the way it wants to practise it is because of its intertwined relationship with the south, if the south were to be a separate entity from the north, then the northerners can legally kill anybody who commits blasphemy or apostasy in the north. The northerners can also chop off heads and hands depending on sharia law recommendations.

The southerners, on the other hand, can set up policies that encourage education, religious freedom, entrepreneurship and other policies that would benefit and develop our regions.

Northern and southern Nigeria are on two separate trajectories. Nigeria needs to be restructured and eventually divided to allow these two regions to flourish in their separate paths.

the North-central region of Nigeria has fertile land, the Northcentral region of Nigeria consist of tribes which the north as been marginalizing for decades, The north-central region as good literacy rate, good poverty rate and all sorts of positive indices.

Now lets talk about the Core north ( north-west and northeast) , The core north is poor, poor is an understatement . The core north is dominated by Hausa-Fulani tribe and has a high illiteracy rate, high poverty rate, high infant morality rate, desert encroachment and all sorts of negative indices. The core north is suffering from Bokoharam, bandits, iswap, kidnapers, ansaru, almajir, polio etc.

By all measurable standards, NIger republic is better than the north. They have good litracy rate, they don't suffer from the number of ills afflicting the north.

I am not saying the north cannot have their Boko haram, almajiris, sharia, bandits, overpopulation, illiteracy etc.....they can have all of this and more but it should come at their own expense. Northerners rioted for the implementation of sharia in the north, alot of innocent southerners died in this riot, what was the end result of this sharia? The sharia brought about illiteracy, poverty, Boko haram, iswap, bandits and all sorts of evils to the north. That's why we need to restructure so that the north can have all it wants and suffer consequences of its misadventures alone.

Restructuring Nigeria is a prelude to division because once the south gets a taste of economic, social and political freedom from the north, they would discover that the north is nothing but an anchor holding us down and in some case dragging us backwards.

Kano is the most educated and wealthy part of the core north and 70% of it's people are illiterates. Places like Sokoto, Zamfara & Katsina are 90% illiterate!

Core-northern Nigeria can never be as good as Niger republic because the elites of Niger republic are secular in nature and support secularism cos they were colonised by France under the direct rule system where they were exposed to French Western culture.

Nigeria is currently the world poverty capital with most credit going to the north, so how has Nigeria helped the suffering northerners. If Nigeria spilts like every other region the north will progress because they will certainly control their population because they will no longer be competing for domince of power as some say they do, just like other regions they will only select competent leaders without thinking if his my tribe or religion, their leaders will have no choice but to improve the human resources of the region in order to catchup with other competing regions of former Nigeria, and of all if Nigeria splits they will certainly go back to agriculture which was what they were relying on in the first republic before the discovery of oil all they have to do is reach some agreement with the south west or south south to enable them use their ports.

The north has marginalised the north central/middle belt tribes who have majority of the agricultural output in the north, there is no way the middle belt would chose to go with the core North if the choice of disintegration comes along.

Another huge problem facing the north is the fact that 70% of its population are impoverished stack illiterates. Where Do you think the bandits, the kidnappers, fulani heardmens, Bokoharam, iswap and ansaru get their members? The huge flock of illiterates and impoverished northerners fill their ranks.
The only buffer the north currently has from all this is the south, the money and manpower from the south is pampering the cracks in the north and when Nigeria divides, Can the north alone survive with this groups mentioned above? The answer is No.
You don't need to look far to know the future awaiting the north, Niger Republic is a prime example of what the north would become minus the educated population of Niger plus the Bokoharam, Kidnapers, bandits of the North.

The North is stuck between a rock and a hard place. One other problem the north faces is religion, Islam is not a progressive religion ( Before you mention Suadi or Dubai) understand that those people have an abundant of mineral resources, before the oil the Middle East was a desert filled wit illiterates. The north ended up with the wrong foreign religion thanks to the terrorism of Dan-fodio.

First... The Quran talked about Blasphemy and Apostasy even going as far as prescribing punishment for Apostasy.
Second... Every valid Muslim knows that you need the Hadith to practice Islam, for instance,The Qur'an didn't explain how to pray but the hadith which is a detailed record of the actions of the prophet, so the hadith tells us how to pray.
The hadith also has detailed records of the atrocities committed by the prophet like marrying a having sex with a 9 year old girl, raping a slave girl after killing her entire family, acknowledging the killing of a female poet for insulting him( which inadvertently gave the public punishment for blasphemy), all a whole lots of atrocities.

It was when I came of age I started to wonder what was really In the Quran, then i picked up the English translated version of the Quran. What I found shocked me, i started loosing my faith when my mallam couldn't answer my Question. Question like why did Muhammed marry a 9 year old girl? Why did Muhammed have sex with a slave after killing her family, why do we face the kaaba during prayers like Idol worshipers? Why not share inheritance 50/50 between men and women instead of the Islamic version, Why should the punishment for apostasy be death? . Alot of Question came to my mind.
