Moroccoguy:Tinubu only copied what OBJ did successfully. |
Which assembly members? The ones Tinubu has just suspended? They don’t even realise they are victims. Imagine. Pledging support to an administrator nobody voted for. The people of rivers state have no one representing them in their own state. |
The silence of other governors is really loud. They should reject this move by Tinubu. You can’t wake up one day and remove a governor. If the pipelines are not safe, sack the company you hired to protect them and station soldiers there. OBJ started this. Look at where we are today. An Illegality that goes unchecked will become a practice. |
When was the last time NLC went on strike? They know that if they declare any strike, it will flop. |
alcaptainero:Ali Ndume allowed it for political reasons. If he was ready to deal with problems during re-election, he would ignore that suspension. |
Those who can afford this don’t NEED a US citizenship for a better life. They only need to go to a smaller country with more favourable tax laws and visa-free entry to the US. |
Nigerian Christians, especially those in the APC have set a precedent. They allowed a terrible thing happen. There is no way a Christian-Christian ticket can win in Nigeria. But they foolishly allowed this to fly. This is just the beginning of more assaults on the appearance of fair representation. They have opened the gates. Next will be a Northern Northern ticket and it will win. |
Wallade:If she wants to be the last to face this, the ball is in her court. If the Senate adopt a new rule that empowers the chief whip to actually flog a member who offends the senate president, it still cannot be enforced. Why? Because it is unconstitutional. Same way the senate president cannot deny Natasha’s constituents their constitutionally guaranteed right to be represented. You can’t deprive them of a voice in the House. Senators who have gone on suspension in the past did it for political reasons, but not because the suspensions were actually enforceable. |
Yet no effect on the cost of public transportation. That means one thing. Transporters running on CNG are thieves unless they reduce the fare by 30% or more. |
Wallade:If she challenges the suspension in court, she will win. |
All senators are equal. But they have to choose a member to lead as president. First among equals. It is therefore an aberration for the senate president to deny Nigerians of their representation at the National Assembly by suspending an elected lawmaker. You cannot suspend someone you didn’t appoint. She needs to challenge the legality of any House rules which give “powers” to the senate leadership to remove or suspend a member as a form of discipline. cr7lomo: Wallade:I don’t think you guys can read properly. Any rule or regulation can be challenged in court as long as the plaintiff thinks it is unconstitutional. Each Senator has the constitutional right to sit in the House. Her presence there as a Senator is not dependent on any senate leader. It only depends on the will of the voters who put her there. |
Rubbish. One of those who planned the coup wrote a book on it titled “why we struck”. The other decision makers died before they could tell their story. This surviving member (Ademoyega) wrote his book to set the record straight because of the inaccuracies and outright lies published by people who were far from the inner circle of the coup plotters. People like Obj. Now Babangida admitted that his views cannot be relied upon since he witnessed the coup from afar. But he still went ahead to write his distortion because he knew it would stir up controversy. Another mischievous inaccurate account of the coup was written by Achebe. He couldn’t even mask the bias in his story. If you need an authentic account of the planning of the coup, it is best to read from the only member of the inner circle who survived the war. |
You don smoke wetin pass you |
Aketi married the wrong wife. May we not end up marrying our nemesis. May we not marry rubbish |
Burna should be arrested for questioning. |
SUPERPACK:No serious man would object to paying for his child’s upkeep. The issue is he shouldn’t be compelled to marry the mother just because of the child. |
Mariangeles:Noisemaker. She can’t do anything. Edit Una don too abuse me o. It’s okay. ![]() I say let me just put new topic after a few years. See insult everywhere. Nawa o. Anyway, in all you do, don’t treat your pregnant babe with wickedness. And if you know the baby is not yours, block her and move on. Marriage is a defining moment in a person’s life. Don’t rush into it just because of belle. Check other factors too. |
thesicilian:Correct. But only if she’s not your choice. If she’s the one you want as a wife and she has the required qualities, the belle will help speed things up. ![]() |
DrFunmisticGlow:This native doctor. So you’re still on nairaland?. Thanks for stopping by. |
If this is real, then congratulations to the guy. He was defrauded but now he has been rewarded. |
Emmmm no. Belle no be proposal. If you believe your girlfriend is terrible and she would turn out to be a bad wife, my brother, avoid marrying her. Avoid a situation where she has legal rights to your abode, your food, your property and finances. Highest! She go swear for you. No be today. You too, swear for her back. If her parents use oloopa to carry you, say you no wan marry their pikin, ehn no wahala, when you come out you too, use oloopa to carry her papa. Give them craze for craze to the extent that her parents will be the ones advising her to avoid “useless husband”. Don’t be so shy or timid that you’d enter serious problem. A bad wife is not an easy affliction to endure. However, if your babe is your dream girl with compatible character and values, don’t miss the opportunity to marry her. Regardless of your decision, be financially responsible for her during pregnancy. Caveat: Do this last one ☝️ if you know the baby is yours.
|
If a babe adores you, she won’t do this. If she bills you, it means she sees you as a disposable option. Better reject the billing and face reality. |
And when pap is expensive…. |
She probably had mental issues and took a drug that worsened her case. |
Many magistrates are guilty of helping police with their underhanded tactics. Hopefully more of them will get the stick. |
The guy doesn’t know how to play this game. Just let the wife know that her sister has been making advances and you guys MISTAKENLY kissed once. First attack. She will chase her sister out by herself. She’ll be mad at you, but she be madder at her sister. She’ll then notice all the disrespect and strange behaviour from her sister and see things from your angle. Act like the victim bro. You’ll get a rubber bullet but the sister would get the RPG. |
Who do we blame for this? The late mother who raised the cultist or the cultist who escaped. |
Sheuns:Very important distinction |
Family dispute |
The nature of lies is that you would always need more lies to cover up the initial lie. |
If you’re not a farmer by profession, your everyday food should not come from your backyard. Your earnings should be able to buy your food. In fact a day’s work should be sufficient to buy groceries for a week. Then you can pay taxes and have savings with what you make in 4 remaining days of the week. This government is glorifying hardship. |
They can only shield for a little while. One day your shield will be removed. That’s government for you. It’s funny how the shield himself is not facing lawsuit as well. |
