Every section you say? Now you know that's a fallacy itself because I know many sections, like many sections that don't even have the time to even bother about such mundane things. (no offence).

And no offence taken, I see such things like online award as mundane, especially when it has to do with a section that drown itself with opinions based on nonsense and foolish sentiment as mused like the romance section.

Participation in this case is very slim because the voice of reason is almost being drowned by foolishness. I'm sure you read Iyabo Obasanjo's letter's to her father where she said "our society is design in such a way where geniuses bow down to morons". Now this is what we see here, cos whether you like it or not, Nairaland reflect the thinking of the average nigerian, and it's petty.

Let's say somewhere in between reasons being that I have had victories over self acclaimed professionals, however, I still don't see myself as one I have played chess enough to know that sometimes a good positioning is sometimes better than having an advantage in terms of numbers of captured pieces
