Death itself depicts silence and numbness. The noise behind the silence is all the plethora of activities that heralds life after death. The journey of the soul and its trial.

I seek to here those noise.
Indeed, the necropolis will indeed be a place as noisy as the streets of Lagos.

True. Funny how these folks spend hours every week watching lengthy television series and analyzing them but they find it difficult to download and read at least a PDF novel monthly.
That's the blatant Irony I see in their lives.

They can wholeheartedly analyse a Telemundo or Zero world series, constructively I must say, but when it comes to books or other matters, it's a whole new ball game for them.

I guess they see it as tiring and boring. That's why they don't even bother.

Biomedical-inclined actually but I've always believed a truly educated person should have sound knowledge of everything from politics to poetry and from programming to physiology. You aren't truly educated if you don't make it a duty to read everything.

It all boils down to self-development. I make it a point of duty to read at least two books every month - books about anything and everything- no matter how busy I am, even if I have to lock myself indoors on Saturday nights and stay in bed till the sun shines colourful lights through my window on Sunday mornings.
Hence the very reason I wrote the poem, Listen To Me.

Number 2 is fated grin

Number 3 is the essence of life, its fulfillment and understanding. The final bridge that separates the world of men and beasts.

The one experience that makes all human efforts either futile or profitable.

Dreams are the closest shave with the afterlife; we all have somewhat, to a degree, heard that noise that lies behind the silence of death.
Pardon me, I meant number 1, not 2 cos I for one know the joyous joy of riding with a ride or die chick. grin

'Behind the silence of death' That sound like a metaphor to me. I interpreted it as having a near death experience (NDE) or hoping to hear the sound that transpires behind the veil of death.

Am I that transparent? grin Here someone likened me to that lad who has softorgasm and saintssamurai as his moniker, never minding the dude doesn't know what it means for one to be a samurai, for one to live according to the code of Bushido.

I believe I've already given you the answer you seek.

I see and understand why you shy away from the subtle advance(s) of men who approach you with good intention.

I still don't see how the question I asked is funny? grin

1) To see through the hearts of men

2) To wife Eva

3) To hear the noises behind the silence of death
Numbers 2 & 3 if possess by a man, would give him godlike powers and status.

Bro, Nairaland is as an obfuscation of reality. I have seen so many fake people whose online personas are so, so , so , so , so fücking contrasting to their real lives. It is absolutely unnerving.

Girls whose loyalty are as steady as a leaf in the harmattan breeze.

Guys who will stab a brother or comrade in the back for ego's sakes, guys who breathe on the quest for online relevancy at the expense of the peace.

People whose evil are so outstanding, I am convinced it was never learnt but rather innately bequeathed by nature.

The rise of alternate faceless trolling! What happened to the men? I came in Romance section last year, 2 years after my nairaland début and I'm not afraid to say this is the most pretentious, unrealistic section in all of nairaland.

99.5% of folks here are phonies, as fake as the rubber Formica in Japanese cars...

LMFAO!. Sad, but true. It's a fair game of shame for those who always like to flare their disdainful shame for all to see.

This section breed the most simpleton of personas in the entire Nairaland. I mean, their thoughts and projection is nothing more than foolish pride being displayed on the alter of prostitution.

One would ask, what do they even gain, or hope to gain by doing this? Not that they slay the girls here (though some lie they do) not that they add money to their pocket (though some beg just to survive) not that they're intelligent (though most are more brilliant and intelligent no more than the animal we know as idiot).

I beats the imagination of any sane mind the amount of foolery that precede the mental disorder this section projects.

Though, it wasn't always like this when I came here first. Mature minds ruled this place, now, it's a shadow of its former self.

Even folex is not as fake as that piece of shiit op posted up there.

Some ashis at brothel have been experiencing low patronage from their customers because of the present economy recession happening in our country. Some of them even charge as low as #900 for 2 rounds of sex. So saying brothels prostitutes decided to cut down the price of having sex with them to #500 is not even news at all. I think op brain is leaking he'd better do something about it before its too late. angry
LMFAO!. I believe those who carry news about ashies everywhere are the ones who haven't seem the inside of a brothel in their entire life.

I knew the news is fake the moment I read the title. I wonder which ashy will join this association when many of them believe in struggling for themselves.

With the way they jealous and envy themselves, I'd say that association is as good as dead.

Because of the recession, it's going to be a very bad Xmas for many ashies. Even MMM come add insult upon injury for the matter. Lol.

well, Volta region has a funny history I don't understandgrin

According to what I heard, we came from Togo, that's why voltarians and Togolese speak the same language that's "Ewe".I spent almost 14 years, schooling.
My bad, sorry I meant Togo, not Benin Republic. The love of my life bibijay123 once told me about this.

I am(was) a volatrian once upon a time. It was the name of my hostel when I schooled in Uniben.

Never knew the meaning of the name till my darling Bibi told me.

This is why I maintain there's knowledge to be learned here, that is, aside the gargantuan amount of rancid horseshit and puerile vibes coming from the fingers of uneducated sea rejected street urchins.

Thanks for teaching me. smiley
