Politics › Re: Lets Analyze This Trekking Guy's Journey From Lagos To Abuja...!!! by agabaI23(m): 11:32pm On Apr 20, 2015 |
Crocz: Except you develop a complex mathematical model for it, I don't see how you can know for certain if it's possible to walk or if he did walk from Lagos to Abj in that time....cos there are some many factors to consider: * did he follow conventional car route? * how many mins/hours did he take to rest, eat and/ sleep, chat? * at what pace was he walking * did he maintain the same pace all through the journey?...he could jug a while
Now assuming he lag in one or more of the above which still doesn't account for all the factors or parameters in this context, then we can take the lag as "U"...and give a linear model as:
¥ = a + bC + b2R + b3P + .... + U
Where ¥ = number of hours it took him a = constant b = coefficients U = error term In theory, it means the number of hours it took him to walk the journey depends on the distance C, rest hours R, walking pace P and other factors.
The statisticians and mathematicians can take it from here *sigh* To help, you only need to know how many hours he is free to walk in a day. His maintaining the same speed is not an issue because not even cars do that. You will have to measure the average velocity of the guy. Check the number of days, number of walk hours per day and the number of days, then you can measure his average speed. You can assume he walks between 6 am to 6 pm daily. You may want to find out if he took some days off. |

Fashiola will perform in any position as long Tinubu is not breathing down his neck. I once wished that if GEJ won, he would be part of the ministers.
If he gets to be the FCT minister or the justice minister, it is cool idea. For others I don't know.
If Buhari will overlook party interest and bring in Adesina fo Agric, it will be a good one too. |

They love using that word. Allow them. Can you guys be serious for once? Someone is raising a false alarm, creating a platform for accusations and excuses. This guy just aired his opinion and because it is coming from APC it must be the truth. You guys will soon understand how you have been sold using the media. I support GEJ but I don't take everything the say hook-line and sinker. This is a fcking speculative opinion and no substance. OK they should select the committee for GEJ. Abegg!! |

The lecturers in those universities almost went on strike some few weeks back because they haven't even received the allocated money of 2014 talk less of 2015. When and where did the lecturers plan to strike? That money was released in February. About 200b was released in 2013 before the strike was called off but some universities have not accessed this money. |

Buhari is not and can never be a puppet. lol, you wish. They turned against GEJ because he refused to be a puppet and Buhari benefited from his woes because campaigned for him and if possible gave him some campaign funds like the Natanyahu case. He has also promised to restart military training that GEJ stopped because of the double standard of the US. You said he wont be a puppet. Wishing is good!!!! The highlighted is so not true because he is a very good example of a puppet. |

lolaxavier: Buhari sounds more directional in his efforts to combat insurgency. His plans may not be full proof. It might not be 100% achievable but there is a focus and that's what Nigerians are riding on.
He is yet to start and take the reins of power. Let him have some periods on the throne first to exercise his power before casting doubts. After all, someone was there for six years and never had a clue as to how to stir the nation. Which plan are you talking about? He is restoring the training to repay them for their support. GEJ looked them on the eyes and told them the truth. You can't refuse us weapons and still train our military. With what will we conduct the training? And add salt to injury you also complain that we are not providing equipment for training. Hypocrisy. I love GEJ! |

modath: They know quite well it wont happen, this current assembly will do nothing but mark time, plan expensive send forth for the members not returning and go home with severance packages that will further create a dent to the national purse. Mody, why is that? The house is opposition from inception. They are the one holding the bill. Why are they sitting on it? 1. The PIB which has been watered down several times because the content is not Shell(UK), Chevron(US) and the West. If they have their way, it will never be passed. The PIB runs against the raw materials initiative of the EU. It will lead to the development of the sector with the spinging up of allied industries. 2. They were not happy with the local content law. Before GEJ signed it into law, all contracts including "kitchen staff" were awarded to foreign companies and you what that means to their economy. 3. The PIB will do worse. 4. Shell and the major oil players bankroll the election/re-election of some influencial Law makers who do their bidding(wikileaks) 5. The PIB is one of the reasons why US/UK and the west wanted GEJ out. I am with NUPENG on this one. Tambuwal should get the house to pass the bill. The next house will start over and will start further removal of the stings. God have mercy on Nigeria!!!! |

nedu666: Has anyone noticed that APC has gradually turned to a party of the north. check out, most of the presidential votes came from the north, most states won during the presidency came from the north, all the new states won during guber elections are in the north, most of the senators and house of reps in APC are from the north. The north have pulled a major stunt on nigerians. the next course is to seize the party from the original founders, then invite politicians from other parties and before u known it we have the largest party in africa. walahi the next convention is gonna tell who owns the party. I do not agree for now. I can only say that ACN and APC has extended its rich. Tinubu will easily pull the plug if he is not satisfied. That guy has the press and can sell Shyte as amala to a Prince. |
