I think I just figured something out - once a player is injured and won't play the next game week, that's why there's a difference between his value and how much you can sell him for. If you try selling a fit player, you'll get the full value in return.

That's prob why you'd lose some cash if you tried to sell Cesc right now.

I think you sell at the price you bought, not sure though.
