Bourladay!:
@ Justwise, I live in Nigeria and go for visits to the UK once in a while. I had my first degree here in Nigeria and intend to go for my master's degree in the UK next year.
Honestly, nobody pays to get a letter from any University in the UK, the person u are working for haven't told u the truth.

Paying 50.000.00 just for admission letter then school fees is way out of order, even if u apply for 4 universities, some will send u CONditional admission letter without u paying nothing.
All u need to do to get UNconditional admission letter is to pay part of the total school fees as requested by the university.

This is why some pple here are calling your idea scam/fraud.
That was why i asked u those questions b4.

Yea, i think a lot had been said in the past that studying abroad gives you an ability to think like the westerners, well exposed and also, assumed to gives one a better understanding of thing. but on a more serious note, nigeria factors requires one to stay and study in the country. A lot of problem faced by the nigerian is as a result of all these abroad studied politicians and so call leaders of our generation does not know what to do, when to do things right because majority of the courses and virtually all the so called case study examined when they are there lacks what i called the nigeria factors.
huh sad
Nigerian factors? Inflated budgets and contracts, ghost workers, bribe me b4 u get promoted, no sex no job. Nigeria factors. What Nigeria factors while the country is sinking? Lecturer are not been paid a living wage while educated-illiterates(politicians) are earning millions in a month for doing all the wrongs things. Tell me the Nigerian factor u are talking abt.

RomanceRe: Giving/borrowing Money To Boyfriend by Again2(m): 10:19am On Sep 03, 2009
Well, sometimes many guys take any woman that gives/borrow or lend them money easly for granted. They sometimes get the impression that she is using money to keep them locked in the rela/ship.

Especially when one is much older(the woman), but here is the thing, if u borrowed him money and he failed to pay back, put a stop to it.

My mate here has a 'lady-cash machine' she gives him money, bought him mobile phone, even gives him money to topup, and i can tell u that my mate don't love her, he tells her what she want to hear and get the money coming.

The lady is abt 10yrs older than him and doing all she can to keep him happy, its sad to listen to him going on abt how he enjoys the money and everythig else. Now for the record, i don't envy him or wish i was in his position, absolutely not.i rather feel sorry for the poor woman

It's good for them!
if you must go to another country, then make sure you're there legally.
I know a lot of Nigerians doing well in China because they have the needed and required documents.
If every privates and harry can stay in Nigeria with or without the right papers because our government is not playing it's role,it does not mean that other countries should emulate our sense of lawlessness.
What happens in China in the news can also happen in other countries.
Let's be fair in our judgement of China as a country.
I completely agree with u, i was in Hong Kong when that happened, the news were everywhere, they blamed Nigerian illegal immigrations trading illegally on foreign currency. Even in Hong Kong, Nigerians are full of illegal activities. Lets not blame China only, blame our Nigerians brothers and sisters as well

@ bobolistic

Europe and the rest of the world for the most part is not in good economic shape. You should stay in Naija and invest your money into real estate, or some other booming sector of the economy.
@ justwise
I think I remember reading somewhere that a lot of Eastern European counties are now having non-skilled labor shortages since their citizens have been flocking to the West. Is this true? I can't remember where I read it.
The story is true at the time it was written, now things have changed. Eastern European are now going home, mostly from the UK cos their economy has improved after joining EU, while UK economy is struggling, 2004 when they joined EU, alot of them rushed to the UK creating more job for those that stayed back, at a point, countries like Poland, Romanain, Latvia and other new EU countries started begging those skilled workers to come back cos of  brian drain, they are doing that now, their currences are now stronger, more job, while in the uk, the jobs are not there even the non-skill ones.
BY the way, this is my new ID since moderator stopped me from replying or posting with my first ID(Justwise) maybe they will block this one too

@justwise
this was a great writew up.
unless the poster has a valid work permit, all this talk is pointless as the poster will mostly do some BS job that illegals do or fall into crime.
Absolutely! he will be living in fear as long as he works with those dodgy papers, i can't live here for oneday as an illegal immigrant or over-stayer, it doesn't worth it.
TravelRe: Travelling To Europe by Again2(m): 10:13pm On Sep 01, 2009
@kood,
u are right, there are alot of Nigerians doing great across EU without doing any dirty business. Its not fair to generalise, if u travel with valid documents chances are that u will do well, there are 2sides to every story.

I think it's the family system rather than the UK society.
I think both contributed, even the govt policies as well

Depends on circumstances
If i'm married, have kids, they will not do their primary or secondary education here in the UK, they have to do it in a good school in Nigeria, when they are abt 20 yrs of age or more they can come over here for their University education.
Bring up kids here is hard, the society is not helping it even. I feel for some responsible parents here.

Aliko, i was in wolverhapton. believe me its not easy. even if u get a work like i did, its difficult studying and working at d same time. There is no automatic job waiting for u at the end of your study, dat is if u able to finish. believe me more than 70% of Nigerians dat went to Wolverhampton never graduate and they equally found it difficult to return to naija, because noting to fall back on. Only children of the abuja politicians or State Gov and commisioners or big time biz man. survive it easily. I know my advice will not sound popular to you, but i will say it all d same, keep your job. Go to Uk for Holidays, visits and come back. I thank God i was able to recover back to Nigeria. Now am doing fine in Naija, I only visit UK once in a while, Think twice,
U said all i wanted to say, hope he undertands it, i went through the system, its not easy 4sure
