Wisdom, I see a pack of office pins on the table, what did u use the pins for? Anyway, it's not advisable to clip ribbons on cake with pins, for next time sake, u can buy edible glue or u make it urself.

None, but one dreaded stuff like dat, awo ese, i think its an animal skin. It has a special drawer where my pale always keep the stuff. Any time he comes back from work and we here the sound of that drawer, in our litle minds, we'll be like: yee, our own done beee.

My aunt has one punishment like that, , she'll tell u in yoruba, (lo kan ogiri niko) go and start knocking d walls and i want to be hearing d knocks wherever i am. Ull knock until ur knuckles are weak and ull be feeling sores. My yonger ones were always getting shouts and rakings from from us after the knocks. grin Funny old times.

Ma'am, please leave the married man to his wife. If you believe this new person is what God has for you then go for it. Get to know him well and abstain from pre-marital raucous.
Dating a married man is never the right thing to do, regardless of the circumstance.
God be with you =)

Sis, go with this advice. Never have anything to do with a married man. His wife can show up later on and it may lead to disaster for u.

Hi everyone, good morning and happy Sunday.
Please has anyone used Andrew James 7L food mixer?
Is it reliable enough for cake and butter cream creaming?
Pls kindly respond. Thanks.
Have a great Sunday.
Sure. It's a good buy. I bought mine last year and its very durable and reliable. The creamer has rubber blade, which means its capable of creaming and at the same time capable of scrapping the sides. So you dont need to switch the mixer off and scrape while creaming.

pls i need urgent advice on how 2 treat dis ailment. it kips swellin n a lot of pple adviced i shouldn't go to hospital dat it wil worsen it. am really in pains wat do i do?

Sorry for the withlow. Well, it depends on d level. If it has gotten to a stage where there is pores in it, then u have to go to the hospital. But if it hasnt gotten to dat and its just minimal pains u have, then apply nail polish on the edges of d nails, the sides of d nails for like 3 day. U'll b relieved.

But remember, if symptoms persists, pls see a doc.
Health / Re: HELP: Am Addicted To Coke. by agbeke58(f): 9:15am On Feb 06, 2015
[quote author=yungchop post=30465240]This might sound untrue but I swear down its real.. This is a problem am facing currently in my life.. At first I didn't give it much attention when my room mates were complaining about it.. I later got to notice it by myself..
Am so addicted to coke that I take up to 11 bottles of coke per day! Any time I feel thirsty I don't go for water, instead I go for coke,

The problem is as far as am still walking on the earth surface I MUST TAKE UP TO 11BOTTLES OF COKE.. come to think of it, I don't take any other soft drink except this coke...
What or how do you think I can stop this rubbish...

I think u should be determined in ur mind that u actually want to stop d addiction.

**1st, just picture in ur mind what 11bottles of coke is like, : the sugar content.

**Then think about the adverse effect of too much sugar in ur system.

**Always go around with bottles of water so anytime u have the cravings for coke, u take the water.

** As a neutralizer, get bitter leave juice and drink every other day.

Diabetics is so real, u really have to determine in ur heart u want to quit. Cheers.

@op, i strongly believe that christianity is a personal thing, and so does tithing too. Its a thing u can privately/personally settle it with God, instead of bringing it here on nairaland.

But my advice is just to live within ur earnings and cut off extravagance. Remember that bringing up a child requires even extra cash. So b wise. Good luck.

You r right. But do they have to do it the wrong way? If u pass through 2nd rainbow, the okada riders will be plying one way, even danfo drivers too taking one way. If u r not careful, crossing d expressway, u'll be knocked down by either an okada or oncoming bus. Its so bad.

carefreewannabe:

I have a male and a female boss and I prefer the female boss. The male boss is choleric, whenever there is a problem he loses his temper whereas the female boss is a very calm and composed person. I could write an essay on why she is the better boss between the two but I think this is enough to show that it depends on the individual personality and not on gender.
I think the OP is a good example of why SOME women are their own worst enemies, if the OP is female, I thought the OP was male.
I have never had any issues with women, I get along with them very well. I also do with men. So maybe the OP should ask herself / himself if she / he is the problem instead of putting the blame on an entire group of people.
I can't say I have had more problems with the one or other gender. It is a question of personality and not of gender, at least for me.

Yes. Individual thing. But, i still believe that some females are more wahala -ish esp when they have little power/authority.

Agrika:

I bet you your previous boss may have done the same thing but because he is a man you failed to notice those "flaws"....why because it has been "something-cally" programmed into your head to only respect and "submit" to a man...thats why a lady will deliberate make snide remarks on another lady why is that so, because she is jealous or even insecure, Wetin come bring the jealousy or insecurity na because by virtue of the fine dress wey the other one wear or maybe the fine car wey she dey ride or her "enviable" position in the company, she has somehow consciously or unconsciously managed to look "superior" to her, which she can't tolerate because a fellow woman is not suppose to look or even be superior to her only a man is allowed such "benefits"...so Mr. O.p, you wanna know why women despise themselves so much, it boils down to these three letter words; MEN!

U see Agrika, my previous male boss is a goal getter and respects u for who u are. Even if we have face offs, he comes back and explains to u y he behaves like dat, he understands that u are another mans wife, and the fact that u are working as a surbodinate to him does not make him behave anyhow to u. He is a goal getter, we unanimously solve issues affecting the dt.

But not with d female boss. She adds to ur problems, never wants to take any responsibilities. And to think that there is absolutely nothing i see in her to be jealous or envious of.

Tho there are still some nice female bosses,, but very few. My opinion.
