You have said it all. Death punishment is the best solution to most crimes such as drugs related and corruption.
hustla:

Reminds me of "Amsterdam" in series "The Wire"

It means they have failed in their war against drug sales and use.

These countries need to just go the Singapore, China, Vietnam and Saudi way and just bring back the death penalty for drug pushers and murderers

Dependent Skilled Worker Visa doesn’t need a COS to switch as the person in question CAS end date has elapsed but graduation is next year and she wants to switch to her husband’s skilled worker visa so she is trying to find out if she can do that now.

Thanks for answering but do you have anyone who has passed through this.
cbn4main:

Yes, they can apply after the course end date on the CAS even b4 graduation.

This is exactly my case as an ex student. I'm waiting for the course end date on my CAS to pass b4 I can switch to a skilled worker dependant visa.

The only way around this rule is if the work start date on the COS is after the course end date on the CAS, then you can switch even b4 your course end date.

Well done my people.

Please what does it mean when a student is applying for a skilled worker dependent visa “completed the course they were sponsored to study”

Can they apply after the date on their CAS if their CAS course end date is Sept 22nd 2023? Or they have to wait till graduation or after the visa on their Brp ends.

No lies, you probably forgot to add the leather market in the North too, Chinese and Lebanese also export them.
rinzylee:

Indians took the Cashew and Cocoa market

Lebanese took the charcoal market

Chinese took the wood and solid minerals market.

These guys buy direct from the source. They have more support from the government and even the locals.

Oh apologies that I misunderstood you, I didn’t know you meant you are resident then if that is the case appeal and send them evidence of you being resident because as a registered resident your plate number should show on the C.E.O hand held. You have a good case of you can prove you are resident but make sure to gind out if the apartment manager registered your plate number.
humbleprof19:

Parking should be free for me at the car park as a resident. The apartment manager took my car plates and registered it when i bought the car in April. I believe this is an error because the fine is for just a day in August. I still live and park there, how come there are no other fines if my car isnt on their system.

You probably have been lucky that you didn’t get a ticket since April. Trust me there is nothing to be done than to pay it except you think you have a chance with appealing which I believe you don’t as the Civil Enforcement Officer would have taken enough picture and video evidence. Sorry bro, May God replenish your pocket.

NB: You have learnt the hard way to always read Timeplate whenever you park.
humbleprof19:
Good morning house

Please i need advise on how to handle my situation

The apartment i reside has a car park that is free for residents while visitors have to pay. I have being parking here since April with no issues. This morning i discovered two letters from civil enforcement addressed to me in the wrong mailbox (for some reason the letters had been delivered to the wrong mail box). The first letter was for a parking charge of £100 for an offence in early August. The second was to say my debt has been transferred to a 3rd party agency and the fine is now £170. I spoke to the building manager about this error from their end, and he said if i had come early before it was transferred he would have suggested a solution but for now it late.

Please what can i do, as I am not ready to waste £170

Hello

You are breaching your skilled worker visa conditions

UKVI can conduct checks on HMRC database, if your caseworker goes that far ,your ILR could be denied

Please stick to the rules

Cheers

What is the repercussion of this as I have someone doing 17hrs warehouse while holding a tier 2 nhs data analyst job.

Well understood.
koonbey:

Just to be clear, you will be paying the full application fee each time, in addition to the IHS fee.

Travel / Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by AgentXxx(m): 1:19pm On Sep 22, 2023
Thanks for this enlightenment, didn't know it was possible. The reason for such is basically due to lack of funds to pay for 3 to 5years IHS fee once and not to reduce cost.
koonbey:

If the dependents apply for 5 year visa, they pay 5 years' IHS at the point of application - no way around that.

If they apply for 1 year visa, they pay 1 year IHS, and they can then apply for 1 year later and pay 1 year NHS again and so on and so forth. Obviously the cost of the visa applications will defeat the purpose but it's technically possible.
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by AgentXxx(m): 1:11pm On Sep 22, 2023
You mean the dependents will have to be paying for visa application and the IHS yearly?
koonbey:

Except the dependent is applying yearly, no.

You pay IHS in full and upfront for the duration of the visa applied for.

Quick Question: I was having a talk with a friend when he said that Some one on a 3 or 5 years skilled worker visa can be paying for the IHS yearly for his/her dependents instead of paying it at once during application. Please Elders is this true?

As Elder Lexus has said. CREDIT AGREEMENT 101 and I also second the advise of Virus, Take that pot to your uncle's house and leave it there, you may be lucky guilt tripping might work and they may come to agreement with you on way forward forthe payment and if they don't, they are really evil, Stay away from them.
yolkman20:

This was my only regret. I was just too mad to make the right decision or necessary step. I immediately told my uncle wife to come carry her pot and it led to a massive argument that night, she said since they've cooked with it, there's no going back, my wife also rang the dealer the next day and she said the same thing.

I should've brought the matter here or look them up online and give them a shout, I never did. I believe I my argument can be based on the fact that they lied that we can't return it when we had 14days cooling period to get out of the contract.

Note that the DD is on Wifey's account but I've been the one paying it.

I totally agree with all of this and that is why you will see Romanians topping everywhere in ware house jobs, I moved more with the Romanian than the Nigerians, Indian and Pakistan who are always complaining .
There is even room for promotion , A Ghanaian friend I made while there is now a manager in less than 5years and this was majorly due to his consistency and also getting a good rating which has to do with speed.
Solumtoya:

Mine was 2 breaks of 30 minutes each. And yeah, they pay as much as £2,000 Welcome Bonus around November.

Funny how people are screaming of tales of waist breaking, "you no go survive"... LIES! One thing I noticed at Amazon is that Nigerians and Indians complain a lot! And they don't last long. It was good money and the job didn't need any heavy-lifting. It just needed speed and many people complain about that as they wanted to rest or sleep during working hours. 99% of Nigerians left to Care Work because they said they could sleep during the shift or rest.
