luvola: Arrived the hot coy around 11:15am ..... Suprisely , i saw a course mate ( a close department friend ) . We were just 5 in nos .. At exactly 15:00 gmt , i found myself on the hot seat .. The first question came and i fired my surface to surface missle on me and annhiliate the question of tell me about your self.. They fired "question 2 atomic bomb ( after a pre- emptive strike on them with respect to the first question i crushed) . The second question causes some major damage on my territory but when i was about to recover , they stepped back.. To be continue............

To my fellow Nairalanders, I really thought it was going to be one of you. Before I went to bed last night, I said to myself, “it is either i make the top comment today or never, i just shook my head and laughed, probably because i believed in myself.

Last and definitely not least, to my astoundingly supportive family, there would be no Grace Cruz without any of you. Mom and Dad, thank you for always believing in me and for driving me to all those Computer (Typing) rehearsals when I was a kid. The rate at which planned marriages are failing these days is quite alarming, its no more nollywoods, real life scenario. I never believed white wedding preparations could come to an abrupt end even when the bride price has been paid, bride 6 months pregnant, e be like action movie for my eyes. Wedding was scheduled to hold in mid August, cards printed and distributed, aso-ebi sold, hall was paid for (quite expensive in yaba area), bridal train chosen and their wears made etc. On the day of the traditional marriage which was held a month to the proposed date for the white wedding, the bride was nowhere to be found, my brother paid her bride price in her absence, after traditional rites, where was the bride, we were assured the bride would be brought to us in my hometown, 1hr after we got back to my hometown, we got our shocking news, a sealed envelop containing the bride-price, returned to us. Reason the brides mother said my big bro was not financially capable for her daughter as he could not afford to give her(bride's mother) complete 500k, to throw an evening party for her club friend. Of which my bro had already parted with 250k in respect to this club party stuff. According to her its a party each club member throws on the day of their daughter's wedding, and she couldn't afford been laughed/mocked at. It was like nollywood movie, believe me, that was the biggest joke I've ever experienced, wat amazed most was that the pregnant bride supported her mother in canceling the traditional and the planned white wedding.

Hi pple, just called my contact, his on field work now, said he would call back later in the evening or tomorrow morning to give a feedback on the recruitment process.
Don't worry guys consobrew like to take their time in their recruitment process, but one thing I know is dat some department have concluded while some has not even interviewed their candidates. For the time been let's try to encourage each other, put up an inspirational word whenever we visit the thread and prayer is the key.

What about the brewing and engineering batch that haven't done their interview yet?

Are u really sure they've not started calling for u guys, betta call the recruitment relief officer, if they've not called na till next year Jan then, they would conduct interview for brewing/engineering guys.

Hello everyone, I guess consobrew is done with 2nd phase of interview for all departments, not sure if brewing peeps have done theirs. Senior Sales officers and sales management trainees,how was ur interview, come online let's hear from u guys.

Exactly u made the right point, so many of these bankers are dubious, they look for inactive accounts with large sums of money that has gone into dormant for long period of time, like 2yrs, they presume the owner must have died, especially when the check the acc. details and notice its an aged person. Now they transfer bits of the money to unknown pple's account with the intention to debit the acc. later within 24hrs and re-post the money to their own/family member acc. Now sometimes, they miss some of the accounts they transferred the stolen money to , so I guess that's why the money is still in the OP account till now, OP if they didn't debit your acc. within 48hrs, they won't again, ask me why?
It is a fraudulent transactions, they don't wanna be caught, and even if u go to lodge a complaint in ur bank they won't even listen/take action,cos they know the implications. Someone I know was also credited with 475k last year, he left it for 8days, and when it wasn't debited he removed the cash.
Some of these banks are fond of putting old pple's account with considerable sums into dormant. Within a space of 6months, my old papi's account was put into dormant 3 times, the most annoying was after re-activating it and paying in, they reversed it back to dormant after 4days. I don't know, but that's their latest tactics, praying that those aged pple's account holders would pass away, their account still dormant.

Still waiting and hopeful.

@ OP, I know it must have been really frustrating, I finished my youth in june 2011, and it was really depressing at a certain time, I got offers of employers telling me plainly that I've got to give my body when the time calls for it, most were marketing jobs. One I went for in June told me long sermon of how I can thrive as a marketer by giving wat I have. It dawned on me I had to look for something to do fast, before I get extremely depressed and engage in ungodly activities. I started begging for help everywhere, for pple to help me start up a bizness, that was even the worst, empty promises here and there.
I looked up to my Father in heaven and cried heavily one 9t, next day I summoned up courage went to a local catering skool, asked for the fee to learn cake baking and sugar craft, after a week I still couldn't raise money to pay 50% of the fee, I went back to the woman, pleaded that before the end of the programme I would pay up. She agreed cos she knows where I stay, before the end of the 2months programme, God sent genuine helpers to me, I was able to offset the bills, pple I never looked up to, to be of help.
From july to this very moment, my electric oven, my mixer and other cake supplies was a contributing effort from pple, some were from pple I baked cakes for free of charge,who decided to pay me afterwards. I give God the glory cos He has shown me I can do anything if only I put my trust, doing my own part diligently and leaving the rest to him.

Are u currently running any additional degree certificate or intend running any at the moment (be very wise and cunny if u're asked this question)
