Please add more context to your explanation. it will help us help you For example:

(1) What type of conference is she attending? is the conference directly related to her job ? eg If your wife is a doctor or works in the medical field, and the conference is a biotechnology or medical conference, then the purpose of travel makes sense.

(2) What do you mean by solid home ties?

(3) What makes her Statement of Purpose (SOP) strong?

(4) What qualifies as strong proof of funds? and how much does she make monthly (or saved) or the person sponsoring her make and who is sponsoring her?
Goodmorning! Thanks for your response. I am actually still in the process of getting her registered for a conference. She works as a Lab assistant, and i intend getting her registered in a conference that's related to her field. Pls, kindly help if you know of One. For question 2-4, i know about them, i have done both study and visitor Canadian Visa for people before. So, I know how to put together a strong SOP, and documentation for her application. Just that I have not done this conference thing before. For her monthly salary you asked, she receives 570k monthly bcs she works in a drilling company. I intend to get necessary documents from the company she works with, and get them notarized as well. I am looking at sponsoring her or better still, route the sponsorship through her company. I am yet to decide on this.

Compliment of the season to you all. Please, I intend to process a Visitor Visa for my wife, and she will be going for a conference. My wife has no travel history. My question is, if she has a solid home tie, good sop, and strong proof of finance, what's her chances of getting approval? Putting into consideration that she has no travel history.

Goodday everyone,

Please, how long is a student who is already in Canada is expected to stay before he or she can send an invitation letter? My little niece's mother is saying she wants to go see her daughter who just left for Canada for about 2 years ago. We are trying to get her TRV so she can go see her and come back.

Please, I have a question and I will be grateful if I will get some clarification from you guys.

Please, is it a good idea if the organisation one works with is used as sponsor? I'm 31 years of age and female.

If yes, what are the documents the organisation should make available? And what other things the organisation must do to see to the success of my application?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Aghogho,

Despite your withdrawal, it is clear the agent put in an application for you and went to initiate a chargeback claim on the application fee, instances such as this, it is very delicate to fashion a response, but I will try to offer some suggestions.
1. Pay the application fee that is being requested with your own card or a trusted person's card.
2. You need to tell them that you requested for assistance for the payment of the application fee when you could not use your card due to Fx restrictions and that the card holder had confirmed to you that payment had been and that the fact the application was transmitted convinced you that the payment was duly paid, but that you have paid the fee now to show that you did not deliberately decide to pay for the application.
3. You can also claim that you did not appoint anyone to act on your behalf, that you only had, an advisory relationship with the person, who was advising you on how to put in your application, that at no point did you appoint anyone to act as your rep.
You can develop this and hope for the best.
Please also wait for other member's pitch. You can also search on the closed thread for some people who had this same issue.
Boss thank God you responded bcs I actually tried reaching you. Let me give you more clew about what happened. When I discovered that this lady was trying to scam me after waiting for 5 months, I had to petition her at the Area Command, and the police subsequently approached the court seek for the freezing of her account. It was then that she started saying that I should allow her Start the process. But I refused since I no longer had confidence in what she was saying. So, she later made the refunds, and we approached the court again to release her account. So, I do not even understand at what point she made the application and even going to initiate a charge back. I have gone to the Area Command today to obtain all those documents, both the my statement, my petition, the court orders freezing and unfreezing the account. My question is, can I use these documents to prove anything?

Pls, can I email you? Or talk to you over the phone? Pls...

Gurus in the house please, I need you to come to my aid. I got a request letter from the IRCC today, and they have given me 15 days to respond.

May 2022, I came in contact with a woman who said she is a visa agent. So, we got talking and I made initial payment to her. But along the line, I saw that she was fraudulent and was not doing anything about my application. After 5 moths of waiting and not even going for biometrics, I requested for a refund and told her I was backing out. Today, I just got a message from the IRCC that there was a charge back on the account used in making payment for that particular application fee and so, I'm indebted to the commission. Now, I have no idea about how that has happened. They have also asked me to make a new payment of 185 CAD, and also explain why there was a charge back on the account with proof and evidence. All these, I must do within 15 days. Again, they said if don't do this within 15 days, my application may be refused and it may be seen as as misrepresentation. They also mentioned that I should explain why I did not declare my representative by signing a representative form signifying that I have authorised an agent to act on my behalf.

Please, I need your help to be able to respond to this appropriately.

Many thanks.

Hello my people,

Please, I need some advice from you guys. I submitted my application May 19, 2023. After waiting for 6 weeks without hearing from them, I sent a mail to Nairobi on July 4th, and they responded July 7th that my application is still under active review and that they assure me that the commission will do their best to conclude the review within shortest possible time, but that they could not give a time frame right then. A day letter, upfront medical was updated to pass on my GCKEY account.

Considering that my study begins September 07, 2023, when is appropriate for me to write them again concerning my application? Time is my major issue here.

Many thanks.

This is certainly not enough as a self sponsor.
First if the 2.5m goes for miscellaneous as you said, then he has zero naira in his acct? And he is a self sponsor? So what happens if he needs emergency funds to carry out unforseen expenditures? If he has family behind, what's he living back behind to take care of them? As a self sponsor, it's certainly not enough.
Well, in my SOP, I stated it clearly that my business account is different from the account I used as POF strictly for the purpose of my studies. There were 3 different occasions I transferred funds from my Business account to the account I used as POF as shown in my POF account. My SOP shows that I have 3 different running businesses, and I stated that my wife who has been running these businesses with me will take charge for the period I will be away for my studies to ensure that I do not run out of funds. Please, note that I supported my claims with official and court documents, as well as pictoral evidences.

It’s well oo. Your funds looks sufficient even with the current IRCC rate.
10k cad 1yr living + 9k tuition bal = that’s like 11M
You still have extra 2.5M which can go for miscellaneous.

Well let’s wait for your GCMS notes
Decision has not been made yet, it's a Second time application.

What's the tuition balance and what's the duration of the program??
Tuition balance is 9k CAD, and it's year program. [quote author=Zeed13 post=124296984]It might be categorised as False information on previous applications or just overlooked. It depends on who is reviewing it and what conclusion the VO came up with.
More reason why we need to be extra careful when submitting our application.
Prior to submission, we acknowledged that the details entered are correct and were not manipulated.
That said, it might as well be overlooked or seen as a way to hide information.
Date of birth is not something they use to play abroad. It's in fact a security details to ur info, account, crimes and use for background checks etc. Since it is not yours, it might be no problem as the family info is not a compulsory document.
As said, it might be overlooked or updated to the newly presented details.
Best of luck.

Many thanks bro. It will end in praise by his grace.

Good evening my people,

I am writing to get some clarification over my application please. As at when I submitted my application, my POF was #13,500,000 and that was in the month of May. However, this excludes the first semester tuition fee of 9k CAD payment that I already made before requesting for my POF. So, I'm trying to know if this POF is still good considering the sudden change in the Naira rate?

Secondly, I'm trying to know if one's mother's age in second application is different from the one in First application on the Family Information Form, does that pose any serious issue pls?

Please, Professionals in the house, kindly respond to me.

Many thanks in advance.

Good evening everyone,

Please, I have secured admission for a PGD program, and I have paid my first semester tuition fee. About 62m have passed through my account over the last 6 months and I have been able to secure invoices, receipts and other documents needed to defend all major financial transactions. I presently have a gift deed of 3m from my bro, two parcels of land in Warri with official survey plans worth 13.4m. I presently have 5.5m in my account.

My question is, is the 3m gift deed and 5.5m in my account considered enough? Because I intend to print my statement of account soon.

Many thanks

Good day everyone,

I'm 40 years old, and with some years of work experience. I'm married with 3 kids too. I want to ask a question and would be grateful if I will get explanatory responses from you professionals here.

My first application was refused on the ground that the VO was not convinced I have available financial resources. My question is, as I prepare to reapply, can use my brother as my sole sponsor while I submit his statement of account as proof of funds? Considering my age and the fact that I'm married? If yes, please could someone kindly explain to me properly how to go about it.

Please, someone with experience should kindly respond to my enquiry.
