Almajiri gotten from the arabic word "Al-muhajirun" which means a person who leaves his home in search of knowledge in this case islamic knowledge. A system of education mostly practice in Northern Nigeria. That is the official meaning but of recent it has come to be associated with begging. So to the average Nigerian an almajiri is a begger. The lost in translation is largely due to the abuse of the almajiri system by greedy persons.
The current trend in the almajiri system serve as a means of excape from parental responsibilities by the parents of these children and also as a personal ATM to the teachers that are meant to teach them. Majority of these children Were forced into this system of education by their parents at an early age to a place far away from home. Left to fend for themselves with the little money they earn from begging and child labor. They are exposed to a life of crime , sexual abuse, political thugs, terrorism , drug abuse. Only a lucky few benefits from this system, graduate and go back home.
Most wonder the streets, hanging around restaurant begging for food, sleeping on the streets and under bridges.
The almajiri system of education is now a social menace to the Society of which if nothing is done quickly would lead to a full blown epidemic. .
Parents of these children most take responsibility and the teachers must be held accountable. Criminal charges level against both the parents and the teachers of any child found roaming around the streets begging. Efforts need to be made to return these children back home.
Let's lend our voice together with that of Elraj to help this voiceless children from far far away.

I moved into a new apartment two months ago, its a new building with four other two room self contain. Unlike my previous apartment where each flat is equipped with a power holding meter this one doesn't which means we have to contribute towards the bill by the end of each month.
Fast forward to end of first month, the power holding company disconnected us from the grid without any prior notice or bill. After we asked them why, they said we didnt pay for lost revenue which is 10,000 naira. That the bill for the house will not be ready until next year which according to them is a normal procedure for any new building. I mean! I knw its not my job but how hard can it be to generate bill for a house. They reconnected us back to the grid after we paid.
Just yesterday they came and disconnected the power, throwing down the wires from the pole, we were able to raise 8000 naira this time around because a certain tenant refuse to pay and he is busy giving the " I dont give a damn attitude " . Anyway we were able to make it up to 10000 naira only for these(PHC) people to say its now 20000 naira .
Today is the second day in total darkness, no power to pump water to the tanks. I am currently with my small bocket looking for where to fetch water. Please someone help me ask PHC people whether this payment for revenue lost is legal o before I run mad in the dark.

The IGP Intelligence Response Team working on credible intelligence stormed and raided a secret suspected fake drug Factory hidden in the residential Area of Ikotun in Lagos State where substantial production, packaging and distribution of suspected fake drug to different parts of the Country is being carried out. These dastard acts may have resulted in several deaths, health complications and physical disabilities to many victims Nationwide.

2. The hideout where the suspected fake drug is being illegally produced on No. 2, Okunnenye Street, Ikotun Egbe Area, Lagos State was raided on 13th December, 2018 by Operatives of the IGP Intelligence Response Team (IRT) led by the Commander of the Unit, DCP Abba Kyari where the following suspects, Emeka Madu aka Cabara 47yrs – the owner and leader of the gang operating the suspected fake drug Factory, Eze Young 26yrs, Chijoke Umunna 19yrs and Kingsley Obilo 22yrs were caught and arrested in the act of producing the suspected fake drug with the use of Machines fabricated for processing, manufacturing and packaging of the suspected fake drug. The above listed exhibits were recovered from their possession.

3. The suspects confessed to the crime and admitted to the various criminal roles they played in the processing, manufacturing and packaging of suspected fake drug.

4. Investigation is on-going and efforts being intensified to arrest the other suspects still at large. All suspects will be arraigned in court on completion of investigation.

12. If your car especially the fuel tank were on fire, do not try to douse the fire with water. Water is lighter than petrol and therefore would sink to the bottom of the tank. The boiling water would produce more heat, which when cannot diffuse, would cause explosion -use dry powder fire extinguisher. Using the incorrect agent can allow the fire to re-ignite.

13. You are driving a car and your brakes failed,then
Do not say your last prayers in panic and be shouting "Jesus! Jesus!" upandan!
Do not kill (turn off) the engine in panic as turning off engine will lock your steering then you can't change your path to avoid collisions.
Do not change your gear to “neutral”, just decrease the gears sequentially. If you are in 80 with 4 gear come to 3rd and hit accelerator car will slow down like wise do with rest of the gears.
Once you have attained impact sustainable speed, try hand brakes. If they failed too, collide your vehicle with a similarly sized, parked car because Car fronts are designed to absorb shock (structurally weaker) and hitting a similarly sized car will distribute the momentum evenly
Else collide it with a tree or pole( make sure you wear seat belt and have air bags).

14. Never walk down the stairs with your hands in your pockets. This way if you trip/fall, you’ll not be able to catch yourself.
15. If a stranger gets in your car forcefully and orders you to take them somewhere, you can drive straight into a pole or a lamp post. This way you’ll render yourself useless to them because
a) the car is damaged and
b) you've drawn enough attention by crashing the car.

- Tie your shoelace 3 inches above the wound to slow down the spreading of the venom and loosen the tie for 30 seconds every 10 minutes to avoid necrosis.
