PLease what are my options? Has anyone experienced such a thing before?

Hello All,

Please I need your suggestion.

My wife recently put to bed, and I want my mother in-law to come for Omugwo.

I Intend for her to stay for at least 80days.

I have gotten the sponsorship letter from my foreign office.

She currently works with the state government.

Do you think they would issue her a visa for that length?

Which suggestions can anyone offer, to avoid visa denial.

This solution i believe would go a long way to help government in solving the current problem at hand.
Education / COVID-19: Tech Start-up Healthradar.ng, Develops A USSD System by agofineboy: 9:30pm On Apr 21, 2020
Tech Startup develops an innovative USSD solution to help Nigerians and health authorities to effectively combat COVID-19 or any future disease outbreak.

Instant Deposit Ltd ( https://instantdeposit.africa ), a digital financial technology services startup focused on taking financial inclusion to rural and semi-urban areas of Africa, in collaboration with its partners, has developed an innovative public health surveillance and early warning system called HealthRadar.NG ( https://healthradar.ng ) that helps both Nigerians and all levels of government combat coronavirus as well as any other potential outbreaks.

For quick self-test, citizens and residents are to simply dial the USSD code *347*61*2# to answer simple questions in English. To further the ease of use, HealthRadar.NG has a version of the self-test app in the 3 major Nigeria languages (Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba) *367*61*3#, *367*61*4# and *367*61*5# respectively. Further developments for other Nigerian languages can be adapted upon request.
The result of every test goes directly to relevant health authorities like NCDC or state approved contact points who will take swift action depending on the indication from the test. This gives opportunity for citizens and residents in Nigeria to play an important part in guiding the government at all levels on intervention and response planning.

Furthermore, HealthRadar.NG has additional USSD code *347*61*1# which enables frontline health workers such as patent medicine dealers, community pharmacists and community health extension workers at primary health facilities to capture all symptoms presented by anyone visiting a healthcare provider in any part of Nigeria. The idea according to Ernest Ike Ugwu, Co-Founder of Instant Deposit Ltd, is that any emerging disease outbreak or already present communicable diseases like tuberculosis, Lassa fever, etc. in any part of the country can be identified and tracked in a proactive manner.

Explaining further, Mr. Ugwu said the choice for USSD is that given the high number of mobile phones in Nigeria (172million according to the NCC), USSD apps can be used on any phone that can make a call. This makes it easier to reach every part of Nigeria especially at this critical time that the government is trying to contain and stop the spread of COVID-19.

Mr. Ugwu finally enjoined the state and local governments, NGOs, businesses and philanthropists to partner with HealthRadar.NG as it is a cost-effective means to take testing and contact tracing to every nook and cranny of Nigeria.

Travel / A Nairalanders Experience Applying For Belgium Visa Via VFS Global by agofineboy: 5:25pm On Aug 22, 2019
Thinking of applying for a Belgium Visa?

Well, this is a nairalanders' experience

This is the warning I wished I read or knew of before making the disastrous mistake of applying for a Belgium visa on the 5/7/2019. The day started as a normal Friday, Early Morning by 8:30am, I was already at the VFS Global center in Lekki where the Belgium and some other schengen Visa applications are made. As I couldn't get an appointment for France, I opted to apply for Belgium since they are both schengen countries.

A summary of my travel history, I am not a stranger to international travels in fact I have traveled and lived in the United Kingdom for over 8 years and have long running travel visa with the U.K., I have traveled to the USA and then some African countries on vacations. So by every standard, getting a Belgium visa should at least not be an issue. Well this I thought when I applied however it is shocking that 1 month and 2 weeks after my application for a visa to Belgium, I have not received even a decision and I have been calling VFS Global who I think based on my opinion and findings are complacent about my plight.

I have been calling all the Belgian embassy numbers available to me on the internet ad even on one occasion I called Belgium home office as I read that they decide visa applications to tell them to just release my passports that I don't want to travel again only to be told that I have to get a reference number from their embassy in Nigeria as the reference number given to me by VFS Global is fake.

Please anyone who has any contact to the Belgian embassy or any information on how to get my passports back should please advise me. I don't want to travel to Belgium again. Please just deny me the visa and release my passports. I missed my travel to the  United Kingdom on Saturday the 17/8/2019 simply because I made an error of even thinking about applying for a Belgian visa.

Pleass post your advice in this thread as I will be reading everything to know the next possible solution.

Please house I need your ideal on this. I was issued a.m but on submission of my international passport,
my application was rejected based on irregularities on my passport and passport was seized and sent to Nigeria immigration service abuja. I went to immigration to resolve the issue and a new passport was issued to me and a letter of authentication. I sent an appeal to the embassy 3weeks ago and I have receive thier decision on my appeal in German which I have translated to English. I want to know if I am banned and also can I reapply with my new passport and a new application. Also I mailed the alien office in Germany about the irregularities on my passport and they requested a submit a new application. Below is the translation of the letter I received from my appeal. On 05.10.2018 they applied to the Consulate General Lagos to issue a visa for the Federal Republic of Germany for the purpose of studying according to Art. $ 16 of residence permit (hereinafter referred to as Residence Act). For the processing of the visa, the general conditions for granting were met. $ 5 reviewed. According to $ 5 para. 1 no. 2 . residence pays to these eligibility requirements also the absence of basically expulsion. Basically expulsion result in the fulfillment of the conditions of the $ 53 (1) residence. in the case of a public expulsion interest. In contrast to the expulsion itself, the visa procedure does not require a check to see whether the foreigner was able to be deported in Germany without errors. The expulsion facts must be met only objectively. By presenting the Nigerian passport with the number A5043, which was provided on page 6 with four totally counterfeited border checkpoints from Malaysia and Nigeria, as well as on Siete 7 with a totally malnourished visa from Malaysia, they meet the criteria for an expulsion reason, because according to $ 54 (2 ) No. 8 lit. a) residence argues that giving false or incomplete information on obtaining a German residence permit is a serious expulsion interest. Thus, according to the above-mentioned legislation, visas may not normally be issued. The margin of discretion opened by this provision includes the verification of the proportionality of the visa refusal. Since conflicting humanitarian interests and the existence of a protected family relationship are to be answered in the affirmative, the failing decision is proportionate. The discretion does not include the question of intent on presentation of the falsified documents. even if the question of an intentional or negligent act should play a role here, it should be pointed out here that it is the responsibility of the applicant to ascertain the authenticity of his submissive before the application without doubt. Also the topicality of the reason for expulsion is not objectionable, since it deals with the fake ID document about the current passport with which the visa was actually requested and the entry was intended. The application must therefore be rejected further. In addition, it is pointed out that the other conditions for granting, from o.a. Reasons were not finally examined

Please was this letter sent in German or English?
The translation makes it difficult for one to understand it properly.
