PDP missed the chance by overlooking young and corrupt free aspirants to chose Atiku all because he has money.

Presidential aide, Garba Shehu said: “President Buhari will not force anyone to support him. Rather, this is a shocking revelation of the PDP chairman’s rating of governors in their party. Is he, by this, suggesting that they are imbeciles?
“As party chairman, he must show better respect for their governors.”
Politics2019: FG Forcing PDP Govs To Secret Deal – Secondus by Agritech(op): 6:08am On Dec 13, 2018
Ahead of the 2019 general election, National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has accused the Federal Government of injecting crisis in states controlled by his party and forcing the governors to a deal.

In a statement issued in Abuja, yesterday, Secondus alleged that the federal government has entered into an agreement with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the police to cripple PDP states and ensure they lose focus on the 2019 elections.

Secondus said the move which is aimed at causing severe and disabling damage to these states is part of the grand design to distract the PDP from its “focused journey to reclaim power and rescue this country from the inept rule of the APC.”

He singled out Bayelsa State which has had eight police commissioners in three years as well as Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi states where the police leadership were changed randomly.

“In most PDP states, despite the governors being the statutory chief security officers, police commissioners have set up parallel structures to undermine the security of the states just to satisfy their pay masters.

“They have resolved to inject crisis in PDP-controlled states and ensure that our governors who are refusing to play ball, are permanently distracted for their reelections. They have deployed huge cash in these states to either use Labour, or state legislators, to inject crisis, frighten the governors and force them to do a deal with them.”

Secondus also alleged that anti-graft agencies have been “co-opted into this nefarious project,” to make it look as if it is its anti- corruption programme.

He accused acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, of being deeply involved in the reelection campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari and shielding Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, over bribery allegations.

He said: “Nigerians should ask Magu, who is busy campaigning for president Muhammadu Buhari and wearing his campaign badge why only PDP governors are on their radar. Nigerians should ask EFCC why they are looking away at what happened in Kano. If Ganduje had been a PDP governor, would EFCC have kept mum? Nigerians should find out why is it that only PDP Finance commissioners are visitors to the EFCC while their APC counterparts, where corruption is obvious, are glorified?

“Only PDP governors are performing and carrying out people-oriented projects across the country, as can be witnessed by all but, they are the only ones being harassed by Magu and his team.

“We are aware, on good authority, that Magu has vowed to make the reelection of president Buhari his personal project even if Nigerians appear to have turned their back on them.”

The Presidency dismissed Secondus’ allegation and urged him to show respect to the party’s governors.

In his reaction, acting EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade told Daily Sun the Commission will be run based on facts and not sheer propaganda.

“This is not true. We are doing our jobs professionally. Because there will be elections next year doesn’t mean agencies of government will go to sleep.

“Elections will come and go but the country will remain. Let us not propagate propaganda. Let us base out statements on fact. Put the facts forward, at all times. There is nothing like that…,” said Orilade.

PoliticsAA Chair, Kelani Rejects Okorocha’s Son-in-law As Party’s Guber Candidates by Agritech(op): 5:07pm On Dec 08, 2018
The National Chairman of Action Alliance party (AA), Dr. Tunde Anifowose-Kelani has rejected the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu‎ as gubernatorial candidate of the party.

Dr. Anifowose-Kelani, who disclosed this in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday, maintained that Nwosu is yet to become a registered member of the party, and therefore, can not be recognized as the party’s standard bearer Imo State in the forthcoming general elections.

According to him, “Uche Nwosu is not yet a member of our party and that he cannot come through the back door to be a gubernatorial candidate of the party in Imo State.”

The AA National Chairman further said that the party has rules and regulations guiding its operation, adding that in order to become a registered member, there are due process such person must follow.

Dr. Kelani, therefore, advised that if Uche Nwosu really want to be a registered member of Action Alliance Party, he should do the needful.

“People of such pedigree should know better that junk politicking which would not help towards 2019.”

It will recalled that ‎Uche Nwosu and some other aggrieved members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Imo State are seeking alternative party to contest elections in 2019 following the crisis that ensued during the APC primaries.

Which law did they start with and when did they actually start the 2019 elections processes proper? Electoral Bill that was sent to the President since March and he kept on rejecting? Remember before the President was elected he always complained that our electoral system is bad. And, let even me ask you a question, between the National Assembly and the President, who's supposed to carry out electoral reforms?
The electoral bill sent in March was to favour personal ambitions of selected individuals. The president has the right to withheld ascent if a law was drafted for personal reasons.

We need to salute the guys working behind the scene to review this particular Bill for PMB. They are thorough and they understand the game plan of Mesujamba and his cohorts very well.

Before u start insulting the President, you should know that African Union Protocol strongly disapproves any amendment or introduction of new electoral laws three months to election. PMB is wise to hv rejected d bill.

We all know Nass is playing a game. The bill was initially deliberately delayed, Card reader deliberately omitted. They wanted it signed by d President to perfect their rigging plan. Baba after serious screening discovered this and returned back to them.

As it is, we will use the Electoral law used to conduct 2015 election to conduct 2019 election. This, we will still use card reader in 2019. So, nothing has changed as long as we abide by the rules.

If the electoral bill prepared and used to conduct last election by PDP is good ( as they always say), why is it not good no more?

PoliticsDon Knocks Saraki For Not Swearing In Kogi Senator by Agritech(op): 7:30am On Dec 04, 2018
A professor of Political Science at the University of Abuja, Ojochide Abalaka , has faulted the refusal of Senate President Bukola Saraki to swear in Air Marshal Isaac Alfa ( retd) as the senator representing Kogi East in spite of several court rulings affirming his candidature .
Speaking with our correspondent in a telephone chat , Abalaka said the Senate President’ s decision was strange as he did not have the right to choose which court ruling to obey and which to ignore .
He said it was worrisome that despite securing seven out of eight judgments so far in his favour to represent Kogi East senatorial district in the upper chamber of the National Assembly , ‘ Alfa watches proceedings from the gallery while the current occupant , Senator Atai Aidoko is sitting comfortably in the Senate. ’
READ ALSO : You’ re architect of Benue’ s underdevelopment, group tells Akume
He said that Senator Aidoko was not supposed to be in the Senate in the first place because the Supreme Court in its wisdom referred the case back to the High Court, nullifying all the judgments prior to that and further stated that only the High Court pronouncements would determine the authentic senator for Kogi East.
“This means that neither Aidoko nor Alfa was recognised by the Supreme Court as the senator at that time. However, when the High Court eventually delivered judgment , it was in favour of Isaac Alfa . It , therefore , remains a mystery as to why Alfa has not been sworn in , ” he said .
Abalaka said it was surprising that Saraki, who is a beneficiary of court judgment system could brazenly disobey court orders for political expediency .

PoliticsAtiku Never Told Anyone He Collected US Visa, Says Campaign Official - by Agritech(op): 6:58am On Dec 04, 2018
By Soni Daniel, Northern Region Editor
Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, never told anyone he has been issued an American visa or planning a trip to the United States of America, a top official of his campaign organisation disclosed yesterday.
The top official, who heads one of the major campaign groups for Atiku, described as unfortunate the media hype over Atiku’s ‘collection of U.S visa and planned trip’ to that country when the former vice president had not spoken to anyone about the two issues.
The official, a former minister in President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, told Vanguard on condition of anonymity, that Atiku was not one who would want to celebrate the issuance of visa, something he had obtained from many countries and had been flying around the world for many decades.
Stop This Fallacy Against Atiku, Group Cautions Lai Muhammed
“What is so important about a visa? And let me say that Atiku Abubakar did not issue any statement informing anybody that he had been issued a U.S visa and that he had planned to travel to that country to the best of those working with him.
“We just do not know where the media got that information and immediately began to spread all over the space on Sunday until it got to our attention. It is not true that the presidential candidate ever gave such information to anyone,” he added.
Reacting to claims by the opposition that Atiku was afraid of going to the U.S to avoid being arrested and tried for corruption, the official explained that there was no case against the former vice president in the country, adding that if there was any, that country would have raised issues against the former number two citizen of Nigeria.
‘’Don’t forget that Atiku had been living in Washington and if there was anything against him, the U.S law enforcement agents would have charged him before now. So, there is no case against him in the U.S and that is the truth,” the official stated.
