Politics / 2019 Campaign: Osinbajo Thrills Abuja Residents To `next Level’ Song- Vanguard by Agritech(m): 7:14am On Dec 25, 2018 |
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo thrilled some residents of Abuja to `Next Level’, a song composed from the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign slogan for the 2019 general elections. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, continues “Family Chats’ in Zone 7 and Area 1, meets with Abdulwaheed Yusuf’s family and Retired Col. Ahmed Zubair’s family in Abuja The vice president addressed a crowd of enthusiastic residents, then paid a visit to the family of Abdulwaheed Yusuf in Garki Area 1, before visiting the family of Col. Ahmed Zubair (rtd) in Wuse Zone 7. Addressing cheering residents of Wuse Zone 7, Osinbajo bellowed “APC!’’, and the crowd responded “Next Level!’’ as many times as the vice president mentioned Next level. The vice president, who spoke partly in Pidgin English, told the residents that the message he had for them from President Muhammadu Buhari was: “No shaking, na Next level we dey go; we don finish with the kind leaders wey dey chop money’’. He said people who looted Nigeria’s money would not be allowed to come back. “Dey no go come back again; Baba Buhari na mai Gaskiya; he will not steal your money; he will use the money for the benefit of the people. “From now on, we are making sure that people have money to do their trading and young people have jobs; the only way to do is only if we do not allow these people who want to steal to come back. “They will not come back; we are going forward; we are going to the Next level; by the Grace of God, four more years. “There is one song that we sing now on radio; we are going higher, higher, Next level; we are going higher, higher, we are going higher, higher, higher Next level,’’ he sang. The excited residents sang in unison with the Vice President and later switched to repeatedly singing “Four plus four, Next level; four plus four, Next level’’. Earlier in Garki Area 1, Osinbajo told the residents that Buhari would not allow any form of looting as he would deploy Nigeria’s resources to improve the lives of the people. According to him, the Buhari-led administration will use Nigeria’s money to help Nigerians. “Traders will have more money for their trading; people who are working will have more; young people will have jobs; our women will go to market to sell; enough things to sell so that every Nigerian will prosper. “Mr President has said that he will not allow a situation where people steal our money; that is why we are not going back to the past. “Our money must be used for Nigerians; for all of you who are here. “That is why we are doing MarketMoni, TraderMoni; every trader will have something to do; every young person will have a job. “By God’s grace, everybody will prosper during Buhari’s next four years as president,’’ he said. The crowd, comprising mostly women and youths, sang and walked with the vice president for about 200 metres in Area 1 before he departed for Wuse Zone 7boarded his motorcade and drove off. If the Igbos are asked to vote PDP because of Obi and a chance to have an Igbo president, is isn't tribalism. But if the Yorubas are asked to vote APC because of Osibanjo and a chance to have a Yoruba president, it becomes tribalism. 110 Likes 16 Shares |

The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) and Fertilizers Producers and Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN) have donated N1.77 billion to fund the re-election campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari The associations disclosed this during a gala night organised by beneficiaries of the federal government’s anchor borrowers programme, at the state house conference centre, Abuja. Aminu Goronyo, RIFAN president, said with a membership of about 12.2 million, and with each member donating N100 to the campaign, it will translate to N1.2 billion. Thomas Etuh, president of FEPSAN, on his part, said FEPSAN is contributing N570 million to the re-election bid of the president. Goronyo and Etuh said the programmes have changed the fortunes of the agriculture sector, which they described as unprecedented empowerment programme. Goronyo said apart from the increasing progress in the sector, the president’s policies have also resulted in the saving of billions of naira for the country. According to him, “all these achievements are from your commitments and favorable policies to agriculture.” Etuh, on his part said N120 billion was saved in two years from fertilizer subsidy. Godwin Emefiele, governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN), said the ABP launched on November 17, 2015, has resulted in the saving of $800 million. He said import bills before the introduction of the programme was as high as N1.4 trillion annually, adding that the programme has been created 2.5 million jobs from rice farming alone. Emefiele described the programme as the most successful anchor programme in Africa, adding that “It has raised the standard of our farmers. “The programme is changing the narrative of agricultural investments in Nigeria. It has brought the era of food security and sustenance leading to a cut in forex being used for the importation of rice and other food items into the country.” https://www.thecable.ng/farmers-support-buharis-reelection-with-n1-77bn 1 Like

amhelpless: Discipline yourself. I know it boost your ego that many girls find you attractive, but the truth is that they are using you. If you continue like this, one day you would become old and weak they would no longer find you attractive and it would be too late to have any meaningful relationship. Tell your self you're not a tool. Get a decent girl, tell are your past and that you want to change and need her help. Truth is most girls wants a girl that every other woman wants and also it boost any girl ego for that man to stop sleeping with other girls just because of her. |
