PoliticsThe Evil Atrocities Committed In The North by Ahasco(op): 12:23pm On May 26, 2013
'They asked me to renounce my faith'
One of the victims of the insurgents in the north, 37-year-old Adamu Habila from Yobe State mysteriously lived to tell the story of how he had a close shave with death when his assailants took him for dead after shooting him.

Habila, fatigued after a busy day, retired to bed with his wife and their son, only for their front door and a voice asking them to grant the unvited visitors easy entrance or risk of the door. He narrated that the intruders, who were in a hurry to execute their mission, did not even wait for them to take decision before forcing themselves in, asking members of his family to come out of the bedroom with immediate effect. As they hurriedly matched out, they discovered one of their two unwanted visitors was armed with a sophisticated rifle, who asked asked Adamu to kneel down. It was then it dawned on Adamu, a Youth Leader of the District Council (DCC) of ECWA Church in Yobe that the intruders were Boko Haram members on jihad mission.

Habila continued: "They told me they were giving me an opportunity to live and to lead a better life if only I could become a muslim and state the famous Kamatul Shahadar, a confession of faith in Islam. I replied that I am a Christian and would remain a Christian even in death and turned to my wife not to worry because the death of a Christian is a great gain not a loss."

"The armed one ordered my wife to go inside with a gun to dispossess us of our money and mobile phones while the other man kept on interrogating me. When they returned, the man outside told his partner that I did not co-operate. He then placed his gun on my face by my mouth and said:'since you refused to become a muslim, here is your reward.' He then pulled the trigger and the bullet passed through one side of my cheek to the other. I slumped"

After my assailants left, I managed to tell my wife to call our Christian Elder, Bab Jibir, the former treasurer of the DCC ECWA, Yobe State. Report came that he and his son had been killed. Police were called but they didn't come and every effort to get assistance from other neighbours, most of whom were muslims, proved abortive until 6.00am when I rushed to the General Hospital on Potiskum and later transfered to JUTH in Jos and later refered to Kano where the voice of Christian Martyrs Nigeria took over my case and provided for the entire family," he concluded.

Commenting on Habila's case, the National Director, Voice of the Christian Martyrs, Isaac Oluwole Newton-Wusu lamented the plight of people in Yobe State and said the case of Habila was just one of many in Yobe State where over 120 churches have been destroyed.

"There had been massive destruction of lives and properties where about 180 villages in different parts of the North were raided by fundamentalists who have rendered about 5000 Christian homeless. Religious fundamentalist have been on the prowl for long in the North, maiming and killing innnocent souls including children and babies with dangerous weapons. Emergence of Boko Haram had worsened the situation, which had turned many villages to ghost villages where those who have no place to go only wait like those that have been condemned to death. Voice of Christian Martyrs operates The Stephen Children Home in Abeokuta, Ogun State where over 325 children whose parents have been killed in various religious crises in the Northern parts of Nigeria are receiving free education, free accommodation and free sustenance. Some are in various univesities under the sponsorship of VCM," he eplained.

shymexx: I know I'm a little bit eccentric and unorthodox compared to the way most of you do things on here. But they can't just go around maiming innocent civilians with crude military tactics and expect an unwinnable war to become winnable. The more civilians you kill, the higher the willing tools for recruitment into BH army.

The real BH members are already ghost, at the moment - chilling somewhere in the Sahara. You lot are just killing civilians.

Using surface to air guns and missiles is just barbaric and savagely around civilian population. Most of you are smiling now, but don't cry when these civilians start suicide-bombing your homes in Southern Nigeria, when the "blowback" kicks off. undecided
And if they do we'll hunt them down again, mind you this is jus a warning!

lacasa: State of emergency never solved the plateau crisis, OBJ tried it n it failed.

GEJ is playing politics wt nigerian lives, if Not, yy adamawa? Nassarawa, plateau, benue n Bayelsa shld αve bn the front states for SoE b4 any adamawa state shld be considered.

Adamawa is under SoE cos the Nyako faction is at war wt Bamanga faction towards 2015 election within d PdP. Nyako is simply getting the Amaechi Treatment wt this Emergency declaration.

Nations all. Over the world dnt fight terrorism or insurgencies wt SoE n 1trillion Naira budgets, intelligence gathering n pre-emptive strikes is wat wins d war against terror.

The USA didn't mount a single street roadblock nor did it send tanks n jets to Apprehend the boston bombers, it used tactical intelligence units to find n fish them out within 2days n it succeeded.

But in Nigeria, GEJ has changed the story of bokoharam so much, it now comes in series. From ghosts, to - they r in my govt, to - its the opppositon, to - amnesty, to - Baga massacre of civilians, and now, state of emergency. One must ask, where r the thousands of bokoharam suspects/commanders that were said to be arrested?.

Where r the PDP senators Ali ndume/ senators Zanna/ Abu Qaqa/ n security officers found to be aiding violence n terror in the land??. Or are they his siblings he once told us abouthuh

#.. Sate of emergency will not bring about the end to this embbroglio, infact if care is not taken we r instore for multiple "Baga massacres" in this areas.(God forbid). i just feel for the inhabitnts of this areas who will inevitably lose more than they bargained for in life.

ACN r only stating the obvious, GEJ n the heads of security outfits dnt want this crisis to end, cos they r feeding fat from this escapades, n cos it plays superbly into GEJ's ambition towards 2015 re-election plans.

#.. And sadly, nigerian lives being taken at will, is the cheap price they r more than willing to pay/sacrifice.

God help us
You see, I love the manner in which the president took his decision. These people in question have been determined long before the decision was made to kill innocent people, despite that, some few people suggested amnesty, which the president bought into as if that was not enough in the middle of the whole negotiation they still continued their evil act(killing and maiming). The decision wasn't taken immediately as some people expected because he was buying into different suggestions like amnesty. In the case of the States chosen(Adamawa), that was done by the military strategist for the purpose of airlifting troupes, mind you this operation is not an overnight one. It has been properly strategised and organised so that everything they do is in order. So try to be objective in your statement.

PoliticsRe: Tam David-West Is A Bastard - Asari Dokubo by Ahasco(m): 11:21am On May 17, 2013
eggheaders: Who is Boko Haram? We have not been able to answer this question. But
we can at least begin to see who are behind Boko Haram.
1: Asari Dokubo admitted to have been trained with some of the Boko
Haram guys. is it not proper we acertain who sent/linked up Dokubo for
the training. Is it not proper that Dokubo be summoned by the SSS/
Police to get every facts that will help to understand who is Behind Boko
Haram? Why has this not been done?
2. Where was the first bomb blast in Nigerian and for what aim was it
deployed for? The answer is along Delta/Bayelsa axis. The blast have
much to do with the Militants of the Nigeria Delta. It was even deployed
to the local politics of Bayelsa/Delta states. Alams and Ibori is in the
know of the forces behind those Bomb blasts.
3. Who moved maasive Guns from Nigeria Amoury in Kaduna? This is no
other person than late Ptrick Azazi who was later appointed National
Security Adviser. This man was able to penetrate Nigerian Army and had
his ways. A lot of high profile guys in the military must have been
compromised. The guns he bought was used for the militants of the Niger
delta. He worked closely with Alams and Ibori. GEJ cannot be unaware of
this.
4. The President was caught up in double speak after the first Bomb blast
in the North (Abuja to be specific). It was later revealed that some people
in SSS was trying to set up IBB and Dokpesi with that same Bomb blast. Is
it possible the President knows more than we do about the goals of Boko
Haram?
5. What about the 2010 Christmas day Bomb Blast. Who was likely
responsible. Before then it has become clear to me that GEJ was playing
Religious Politics to secure the votes of Northern Christians. So naturally
when that Bomb was thrown on a Christmas day in a Church, I told my
friend that I suspect GEJ/Nigerian Security forces/GEJ campaign team. It
would be a good way of creating big gulf between the two religious group
and then secure the votes of the Christians. So I keep believeing GEJ may
be behind it.
6. Now we have SOE in far North East and Boko Haram have targeted
Daura. Daura of all places. It means Buhari (the greatest fear of GEJ and
PDP) is no more safe. It means Buhari will be more interested in his
personal security than organising to win votes come 2015. Remember
Adamawa SOE will nuetralise Atiku and his axis. With Kaura now, Buhari
will be nuetralised and GEJ will have an easy ride.
I want somebody to tell me that all these are not true.
It is unfortunate the Igbos lead the fight to secure more money for the
oil producing states via Deriviation. But the massive money secured by
Deriviation has been utilised to intimidate the Nigerian state through
state sponsored Terrorism and not to develop Niger delta. There wouldn't
have been Militants without Deriviation. The Deriviation money was
diverted to fun the militants of Niger Delta by Odili, Ibori and Alams. The
Deriation money and (today) the Nigerian state resources is being
deployed to destroy the North for the sole aim of keeping the President
with GEJ. If GEJ has not been clueless, I wouldn't care much. But GEJ is
clueless. He has handed over power to cabals who are bent in destroying
Nigeria for their private burses.
Nigerian beware. For the measntime, I advise Buhari to relocate to Abuja
because, very soon there will be a stray bullet that will take his life. The
Nigerian state with its criminal rulership is afraid of what Buhari can do
with the masses. They know it and can feel it.
Buhari, Please relocate to Abuja for the time being, if you have survived
the shooting last night.
I don't really get your point, you are among the many few who try to confuse people with your unclear permutations and combinations. You better be careful what you say and let things be revealed by itself instead of making up stories that are not fact, you acuse a sitting president of things he knows nothing about and at the end you paint a false picture that will deceive many. It already shows that you have a morbid mind if not you won't be saying what you don't know concerning the president.

My quesdtion is what has changed? The only thing that has in my opinion is that you deployed more troops to the affected states that's all. The leadership of those states need to be suspended so that a new albeit interim leadership can come in with fresh ideas, on how to tackle the issues since the present leadership has gone bankrupt with ideas.

And to think that some clowns on here have been commending him? naija, i shake my head for una. You all seem confused just like your leader.

PoliticsRe: I Stand By My Statements And I Have More To Make.! (Video) - Asari Dokubo by Ahasco(m): 1:25am On May 14, 2013
tdade: For those who didn't watch the video, here's the transcript: Hi gentle men of the press, I Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo
Asari (Insert Chieftancy title) want to say that I stand by
the statement I made, and I want to go on further to
make the following. If any more attacks are carried out
that affects our people or we perceive that attacks are
going to be carried out. We'll carry out preemptive
action and disproportionate reaction to any attack that
is being planned, that is going to be carried out. it's
quite unfortunate the oligarchy in the North
represented by the feudal Fulani who migrated and
invaded our land from Fouta Djallon, have continue to
show disregard and disrespect for the owners of the
country they came into. People have tolerated them for
a very long time but that will no longer continue.
I want to refresh your memory that on the 5th of
October 2010, a Fulani Lawal Kaita former governor of
old Kaduna State said this, "Anything short of a
Northern president is tantamount to stealing our
Presidency, Jonathan has to go and he will go
(emphasis). Even if he uses the incumbency power to
get his nomination on the platform of the PDP, he will
be frustrated out (emphasis). The North is determined
if that happens to make the country ungovernable for
President Goodluck Jonathan or any other Southerner
who finds his way to the seat of power of the platform
of the PDP against the principles of the party's owning
policy". Today, insurgent groups to the furtherance to
this clarion call from the feudal Fulani occupiers of our
land have wrecked havoc, they are attacking barracks
and seizing weapons. Their foot soldiers in the army
are planning a Coup (because at the top, they can not
plan a Coup), and Goodluck Jonathan is just sitting and
watching and we will not sit and watch! For every
action, there'll be any equal and opposite reaction, and
it'll be disproportionate. And nobody arrested this
fellow, this invader from Fouta Djallon, Lawal Kaita,
nobody arrested him, he's walking free.
After that, another Fulani who had used our money to
over throw a democratically elected government. A
corrupt Fulani, General Muhammadu Buhari, very
corrupt, highly corrupt, rotten! Made this statement
15th May 2012, "God willing by 2015, something will
happen (emphasis). They either conduct a free and fair
election or they go a disgraceful way. If what happened
in 2011 should happen again in 2015, by the grace of
God, the Dog and the Baboon will all be soaked in
blood. He was never arrested. This man, in all civilised
countries. (digresses) In Chile, General Pinochet is
being tried, there is a call for his extradition, former
military leaders are being tried in Pakistan (Musharraf).
It is only here (Nigeria) that these things are not
happening. That a man who overthrows a legitimate
government, continues to threaten us with blood and
nothing has happened. Who is this criminal who took
our guns and our resources to plan and overthrow a
legitimate government without any reason what so
ever. And introduced retroactive laws that led to the
death of citizens, nothing has happened.
To crown it all, another Fulani invader of our home land
continued, one Farouk Adamu Aliyu (Jigawa CPC
Governorship candidate), "Let me also use this
opportunity to say on the behalf of us in the north that
nobody has monopoly over violence". We thank God
that they don'y have because we are going to give
them surplus violence. That "On behalf of the people of
Northern Nigeria, there shall be no more Nigeria if a
Northerner is not elected President".
No Northerner will ever ever be elected president in this
Country again. Politics is a game of numbers, They
(Northern Nigeria) Don't have. There is nowhere an arid
land is more populated than the fertile south or the
Savannah. If it is so, then Mali should be more
populated than Nigeria, Niger should be more
populated than Nigeria, Chad should be more
populated than Nigeria, Burkina Faso, should be more
populated than Nigeria. They are all our neighbours,
How come it is only this belt of Fulani (insert insult),
that are more populated than us? We will not allow it,
we will not continue, we know that we are more
populated than them and no figure they will bring will
be accepted.
He said "In the game of numbers, the Ijaw people are
not up to 1 million or 2 million or even 5 million". Let us
tell them, We are ready for them, (digresses) I'm not
afraid of arrest, I've been arrested before, i was put
under SSS underground for 10 months 11 days, i was
buried alive and came out alive. I did not give up, i did
not capitulate, I was detained for 22 months 10 days, i
did not capitulate. So, I'm not afraid of arrest but they
would never arrest me, because if they do, the
consequences of my arrest, Nigeria will be History.
I'm saying it bold and clear without missing words that
the consequence of my arrest, Nigeria will be history.
The last time, my arrest reduced Nigeria's oil
production to 700,000 barrels. This time, it'll be zero
and we will match violence by violence, we will match
intrigues by intrigues, we will match bullet by bullet, we
will match blood by blood.
We are ready for them, Goodluck Jonathan will
complete his tenure of 2 terms, whether they like it not.
To us they don't even exist, because we pay them. He
who pays the piper dictates the tones. We pay them,
we feed them, they are parasites, they are a burden on
us, they have no reason to be with us. They have no
reason what so ever to be with us. And this is not the
first time we have expressed we ahve expressed this,
the people, the Aborigines of this land have expressed
this opinion. Gideon Orka expressed it and all our
people have it in their mind that these invaders must
be expelled from our land. And we will follow it to the
latter, and we are daring them to arrest me. I'm daring
them to arrest me if they can. And if they don't, they
are cowards and shame on them.
There will be no peace for the man who does not want
peace. When we were in the creeks, we fought for a
just cause, we never fought and kill innocent people.
They continue to kill and people tell us " Ehhh no do o,
if you do, you know them now", that time is gone
forever and ever.
And we are saying that, it is in their best interest to
behave because they add no value, they are destitutes,
they are parasites, They contribute nothing. We feed
them and we condone their excesses, but we'll no
longer condone their excesses. thank you very much.
