SpecialAdviser: I don't really care what CORN group will say. They are CORNfused morons. This thread is meant to give a non biased analysis of current issue with EFCC chairman sack. Hire and Fire has always been the trend of EFCC chiramanship. The problem is not sacking or appointment of EFCC Chairman.
The problem is to get a chiarman who can truly fight corruption without unnecessarily being a stooge of the president. From Obasanjo to Buhari, all Nigerian presidents 1999 to date have always used EFCC as a tool to fight opposition. None truly fought corruption. Is Tinubu going to be an exception? If Tinubu can truly fight corruption with the new EFCC chiarman, then he will win my support. But the hope is very faded. How can he fight same people that brought him to power. Wait when he constitute his cabinet and release money to them. Then we will know.
Below are the list of EFCC CHAIRMAN from 1999 till date and below are known corruption cases under Buhari administration begging for Tinubu attention. If he fights them, then he can be trusted. Nothing to celebrate yet. Only time shall tell.

Abegnews: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reacted to the emergence of the new leadership of the 10th National Assembly. Below is the statement by the President:
“The election of Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio, CON and Rt. Honourable Tajudeen Abbas as the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives for the 10th National Assembly is a good development.
I heartily congratulate them and also rejoice with the new Deputy Senate President Jibril Barau and House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu for their well-deserved victories.
Being elected by their peers as presiding officers and assuming the leadership of the National Assembly is a great honour that comes with huge responsibility. I trust that you will justify the confidence reposed in you by your members and many Nigerians.
I wish Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Honourable member Idris Wase and Honourable Aminu Jaji who enriched the process with their participation in the leadership election the best and a successful tenure in the 10th National Assembly.
I urge them to sustain the same level of enthusiasm they brought to the leadership contest in the discharge of their duties to their constituents and Nigeria.
My congratulations to all members of the National Assembly, across party lines, who, today, enlisted into the service of the blessed people of our great country.
We have all been called upon and accepted the responsibility to diligently and faithfully serve our fatherland with the oath we took. It is time to get on and move swiftly with the business of governance in the service of Nigeria.
As your President, I am prepared to transparently work with the National Assembly. Nigerians expect distinguished Senators and Honourable members to make laws and carry out oversight duties that will enhance the performance of government to achieve successful outcomes including improving their quality of life.
In the course of our work together, disagreements may occur. When we disagree it will not be out of malice, ill-will and quest to diminish the institution of National Assembly or any individual member.

Am not surprised it's government of Yourba he wants to fix only Yourba Muslims in higher positions. NONSENSE Bros what is wrong in him doing exactly that? What is wrong in him appointing only yorubas in vital positions if not close to all?/where you not in this country when Buhari the personified dollars carried out the same deed? Besides, are you expecting him to keep the same gang of failures that dragged this country back to the stone age? Bros atimes make we dey leave joke reason well. |

I respect PBAT with his actions thus far, he's winning admirers so far which is good for our democracy
( even though he will still vomit our mandate)
I task PBAT not to consider political vengeance of Isolation of SE region, so that he could harvest those vote in the future
SE has been Marginalised for a long time and appeasing them with a juicy position will be a good thing in the long run
Capturing the entire south should be goal of PBAT
But in the meantime I am happy with the dismantling of the Northern Mafia ;

After dem sell land, collect money and spend on frivolities, they will turn around and cry that non-indigenes have taken over their land as if they didn't collect money for it. Many indigenes who are not aware that their parents sold the lands (or it's entirety) still parade themselves as the owner. Na dem way na..awon eat your cake and have it. |
