Who designated some animals as livestock? As far as i can remember, Jesus said to peter: "Kill, Eat... Do not call anything unclean". What does that mean? A human being can chose to eat any animal he deems fit. By extension, God has permitted man to do with animals whatever he so desires, including the most "barbaric" - eating. You kill an animal just to eat it, not because there aren't alternatives, but because you like how it tastes. Yet God is not offended, and nature doesn't revolt. So why should a man who's upbringing tells him that owls can be agents of evil forces be judged because he decides to kill it?
