As at thar time in 1963 london trains were already using electricity. I am sure obasanjo and his generation have sat down in one or two of them multiple times over the years.

These pple have been flexing london since before the birth of some peoples parents. But no street in Nigeria or even their village resemble the most low income ghetto areas of london in terms of amenities.

Olusegun obansanjo's close shave with death and his escape should fit well in a game of thrones esque tv movie. He has almost died so many times making me wonder if it's sheer luck or divine or is he just un killable.
Celebrities › Re: Wizkid, Tems Make Barack Obama’s 2020 Favorite Music by Aidejay(m): 4:34am On Dec 21, 2020
Vlain:
It's obvious he didn't listen to wizkid. It was cause of tems was on that song. Even wizkid should know this deep down.
That means he doesn't listen to Rema and Burna boy. Cause iron man by Rema and anybody by Burna boy have been on his previous lists. Even davido was on the list some time back when he featured on the remix of know your worth by Khalid with tems. But this year alone, Smile by wizkid and Essence both on his album have entered an "obama list" now I'm not a fan of the list, as far as I'm concerned it's irrelevant even if obama doesn't listen to wizkid millions are still playing his music and the evidence is splattered across all platforms for tadpoles like you to see. I guess the subtle lack of shame is what's pushing you to make irrid comment such as what you wrote, because another man's success in any form somehow prevents you from having an erection. You can't imagine that a whole obama will listen to wizkid. With that mentality you will continue to remain small and limited.

Celebrities › Re: Chris Omashola: Davido Is The Biggest Artist In Africa, He Is Bigger Than Wizkid by Aidejay(m): 6:56pm On Nov 16, 2020
JoeEeL:
May be bigger, true, but definitely not a better singer cool

His scope is also very narrow; he mostly sings about money and girls. He also has poorer harmony. Wizkid trumps him in the genre fusions. Lately And nowadays Wizkid sings better Jamaican reggae and proper dancehall.

Concerning, poor harmony, make Risky a use-case. In the 3rd verse, see the lyrics 'Aunty Hadiza, she cause disaster, her body madi fa...'... deviating from the story line, which Popcaan had completely nailed. It was such an unconnected verse that it had to be removed in the video of it.

There's no dissing Davido as he's good in his own right. Nevertheless, as a matter of fact, there's many new generation Nigerian singers that lyrically, by flow, the use of metaphors and philosophy are better than Davido. Here's just a few.

1. Burna
2. Wizkid
3. Kizz Daniel
4. Omah Lay
5. Patoranking
6. Yung L
7. Kelly Hansom
8. Adekunle Gold
9. Olamide
10. Ycee
Wow....I love this.

scientists have been saving lives for centuries.
but just like every other profession they have their own bad side it will require an individual of limited understanding years to come to terms with the fact that science is and still remains to the core of it's existence a path for the betterment of human life in all ramifications.
let the fanatics find something to be scared of as usual.

One will think that a thread like this would be littered with scientific expose and factual knowledge but alas right on the front page one person stuck out like a sore thumb.

Leaving me to wonder if this is a true representation of the masses especially those ignorantly predisposed to believe such based on a foundation of wrong principles and knowledge.

If 5 or 6 of every 10 Nigerians believe such where does that leave us. In the 18th century I guess where science was perceived as a threat to religious doctrines. Doctrines that the religious groups have since abandoned due to the fact that they've been proven false.

But naaaa! Some still choose 18th century ignorance. It's their forte they like living stupid.

Alas the thread has become grounds for more ignorant rethorics. Lead me away I can see no more.

We will know for sure...But then, it will be too late for one of us.
grin that's the truth ooh! But a saying goes that it's better late than never. How that applies to life after death is still yet unknown. Me I hope there isn't cause I am not anticipating anything you see the topic of death and science will never end. Cause death is not a sickness or disease death is a natural order of things, and not only humans die, skin cells die so that new ones can replace them so alse blood cells, hair frolicles so that new hair can grow and many more. So the old dies so the newer can emerge. By extension science isn't seeking to cure death. A world without death is gonna be terrible. From overpopulation to pollution to wars.

Man has not gone anywhere.

Coronavirus shuts everyone down for months and there are other 50 viruses more deadlier than Coronavirus.....

Sickle cell anemia, cancer of all forms diabetes and the likes are still killing people...there are millions of things we still don't know....

DEATH. Science is completely useless as far as death is concerned....Every soul shall die..... I guess you think that after death consciousness cease... Well, you will find out afterwards.

Science is the knowledge of the physical laws that God put in place to keep this natural world going by itself...

These laws gives the universe self-sustaining abilities....

God will still be God.... Science will never take the place of God.

Do you know that a simple change in the nature of air will render a lot of inventions useless?

Give glory to God.

The universe is too complicated to exist by itself...order and timing are things that tell you that someone made this universe....

Give glory to God.
Man has not gone anywhere but you're using a phone. A man made phone.

There are indeed things that we don't know and that is why science exists so that they may be known. Since when did ignorance become lucrative? The Corona virus, cancer, sickle cell etc will be cured by scientific research one day.
Before the end of the year now scientists will provide vaccine for Corona.

In science the concept of death is well understand and studied. The classifications of living things includes death. When you get malaria and take drugs remember how science created the medicine to cure an ailment that can otherwise kill you. That is not powerlessness.
Everybody will die eventually but through science ebola that had a death rate so high the assured outcome was death now has a vaccine and treatments.
You call that powerlessness?

The fear of science making your god irrelevant doesn't invalidate science in it's entirety. Stop being afraid of simple theorems and formulas
Because of fear you typed all that.

Just so you know there are scientist who believe in the creationsist view and many creationists views exist varying from every culture and history. So while you believe in the Genesis creation story many out there believe in their own. I guess when death comes we'll know which one holds water.

The Bible actually support what's he's saying. According to the Bible, the earth is flat and the center of the world, the sun revolves around the earth.
The sky has pillar which support it to the earth. If u read the Bible carefully u will actually agree with him.
The Bible was the source of knowledge during the medieval era in Europe, that was why any scientist that opposed the Bible was prosecuted or killed.
bro we are no longer in medieval Europe.
The times of killing people based on refutable claims have passed.
Scientist are opposed and persecuted because of a book of stories and poems.

What he's saying here is trash even the Avant readers of the Bible will tell you he's saying trash.

I don't think mere curiosity is enough reason for a country like USA to spend billions of dollars on projects. I believe there's more to it than they're telling the world. But then, it's their money and country.
Your post was rational and interesting till it got to here. You call it "mere curiosity"
And then you assume they are mean to disclose all their plans and initiatives to "the world" because...?
But it's their money and country.....
