CelebritiesDavido Is A Year Older Today! by Aiholi(op): 12:15pm On Nov 21, 2016
DMW Boss “ Davido” is 24 today.

Davido was born on November 21, 1992 to
Chief Deji and Vero Adeleke in Atlanta , Georgia . His father is a Nigerian business magnate while his late mother was a university lecturer.

He attended the British International School in Lagos. Davido studied Business Administration at Oakwood University prior to relocating to Nigeria .

Davido’s interest in music started during his time at Oakwood University. He bought musical equipments and started making beats as well as recording vocal
references.

He dropped out of Oakwood University when
he started getting bad grades and relocated
to London, where he focused more of his
energy towards vocals as opposed to
production.

When Davido returned to Nigeria in 2011, his music career was sidelined after he agreed to honor his father by enrolling at Babcock University.

In July 2015, Davido earned a degree in Music from Babcock after his father paid the university to erect a
music department for an inaugural class of
one.

Happy 24th Birthday to Davido !!!

Godly agenda indeed. How can you build a university only the rich can afford?. Most universities are built with the church offerings and tithes. why can't all these Churches take a cue from OPM?
What does OPM do that makes it stand out?

http://punchng.com/high-covenant-varsity-fees-stop-face-gods-wrath-oyedepo-tells-critics/

The Bishop of the Living Faith Church worldwide, Dr. David Oyedepo, has appealed to those criticising the school fees charged by Covenant University to desist to avoid incurring the wrath of God.

Oyedepo, in a telecast to a pre-Shiloh 2016 Convention gathering of the church monitored via satellite in Jos on Saturday, said the critics were acting in ignorance and risked incurring the wrath of God.

He said one of such critic, who was smitten with a strange plague of chronic mouth odour over the act, only received spiritual pardon following his confession and “my intervention before he was restored to dignity”.

Oyedepo said the issue of school fees paid by students of the university was a godly agenda to meet the demands of raising godly children in an environment conducive for learning. He said such criticisms were products of ignorance as what students pay could not be compared with what obtained elsewhere that lacked facilities.

He said, “The school fees has Gods approval and is in accordance with the quality of facilities provided by the university in meeting the educational needs of the nation.” He said the church in its pioneering role in pushing the frontiers of education with excellence had concluded plans to establish offshore universities.

The cleric said a fully automated Bible press by the church had been completed and would be launched soon.
Oyedepo, however, quoting from some verses of the Bible, which include Matthew 24:6-8, 1Peter 2:9, Joel 2:2 and Mal. 4:1, said the current economic meltdown was predicted but that committed Christians would be exempted.

He prayed for resources for parents to always meet the demands of the time and declared the theme of this year’s Shiloh holding between Dec. 6 and Dec. 10 as “My Case is Different”.

The bishop said this year’s annual event of Shiloh would not be advertised as past events as it would be church based.

Career10 Signs That Shows You Have A Poverty Mentality. by Aiholi(op): 2:05pm On Nov 05, 2016
1. You don't invest in yourself.

Investment is one indispensable tool every human should posess. Being a spendthrift could be fun, but the funds so spent if invested would have brought about a greater income for you. He who fails to plan, plans to fail

2. You daydream alot without actions

Daydreamers usually end up accomplishing nothing if adequate work is not put into the dream. Daydreaming isn't wrong, just dream and ACT.

3. Always Hanging around with Poor Folks

I'm not saying one shouldn't make friends of low calibre. Rather, let people you hang around with most times be people who are high-minded individuals. To become great, you move with the great.

4. Always borrowing

When you regularly borrow (most times with interests attached), without having a rethink about the repercussion, i'm sorry to say you are on a journey to Poverty.

5. Being Visionless

Just like a moving vehicle on a journey without a destination is get lost, being a visionless individual makes you get lost, as you can't envision the future. The future you can't think about ,you can't feature in it.

6. The majority of your spare time, money and focus is fixed on entertainment.

This is Self Explanatory. To Revel once in a while is good, this shouldn't be overdone tho, as it brings you to naught.

7. Lack of a skill, Education or both

One without any of the aforementioned will still expect God to prosper you. How can? He can only prosper what you have in your hand. Education sharpens you for the future ahead, a skill helps put food on the table. Without any of these, poverty will surely knock on your door.

8. Refusing Advice

Refusing advice from those who were once poor only means you will walk in their steps sooner or latter.

9. Being Jealous of people who have more
than you have.

Instead of asking how they made it, some detest prosperous people for just no reason. Continue, Hunger will come knocking.

10. You find a problem with every opportunity
and are terrified of taking risks.

Taking risks is one way of making fortune. The chips might be down sooner or later, but atleast you tried something new.

Summarising with the words of Virginia Woolf; One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.

If any of the listed is evident in your life, please turn a new leaf. Prosperity comes from learning new methods, tricks of survival. Sir Lalasticlala, what do you think?
