In the course of these exposition we have found out that while some credit card transactions were charged back, Some went through into buying Chanel shades, Louis Vuiton purses, Zara, expensive materials, That means there is a Mr John Doe somewhere in USA whose credit has been ruined or whose retirement account has been cleaned out
If we are really interested in justice for all parties involved, then Who gets justice for that Mr John Doe? or should he take the loss because he isnt on NL and has no NL mediator to collect his own stolen money?

I am not in the uk, anything that will put an end to coogar scamming on nairaland and get the money owed back to babe3 is welcomed by me. What i see coogar trying to do is to buy time and escape, thats why i support him paying first. How someone will come here crying more than the bereaved in this case is still unclear to me. Coogar must have wired some huge amounts to some people and they are feeling uncomfortable now. The guy in question has agreed to pay, why questioning that decision again?. 1. If the case is in court, why is coogar begging behind close door? It's no longer in NL's hand, so why are we forming judge and jury? Why bring it to NL when the court's decision has not been made? If he's found innocent, then you're just as guilty for attempting to ruin a man's rep [be it online or offline].

2. Why did you guys claim that all he needs to do is pay Babe back? Hello!! If you have evidence, do not let him walk away even if he pays her back.

3. If you really have undoubtable evidence, why come on NL to warn us to stay away from him when you're all sure that he's going to prison anyway. He's going to be locked up. There should be satisfaction in that alone. Unless you don't have the evidence and you're hoping to corner him to write self-incriminating nonsense, unknowingly. You all should have come on NL after the court case.

From my standpoint, all I saw were circumstantial evidence. However if you have evidence that you're keeping from NL, take them both to court.
Credit card scam is not a small issue. Paying back babe shouldn't be the end of this discussion.

This is the biggest Nigerian forum where we discuss corrupt politicians, let's do what we can to keep criminals off the streets too. Any punishable crime should be reported to the right officials.

I dont think this is needed for now. He has accepted to pay the money he fraudulently collected from his victim. There is no unjustly nailing coogar here. If you know how cc scammers operate, you would n't doubt anything. What is most important first is to save babe3 from the burden of debt, which coogar's payment would do.

There's no changing of account numbers by individuals as posited by Cougar. All account numbers have been changed automatically to the 10 digit NUBAN years ago in ALL banks. This was a CBN mandate which was followed to the max.
All you need to do is to supply the old number number online via the banks customer service if you're unavailable and after due verifications (signature), you will be supplied with the NUBAN.

Sincerely i had wanted to counter coogar on that but i was n't conversant with those things at that period, so i side-stepped it. My bank sent me email informing me of the change to the 10 digit account number. I did n't fly home to do it. One thing about lying as we know, once you tell one lie, you may need hundreds more to cover that one.
