For the past 2 months now, this our lovely rap battles section has witnessed a downturn in quality with different kind of avoidable discords, accusations and counter-accusations. These have divided the house into groups and have seriously dented the credibility of this section. The former mod was fired after discovery of ill-conceived actions against some members. However, this could not quench the fire as the ousted dude felt ashamed and did not want to go down without a fight. Flow for rank thread was picked as the battleground, unknown to many of us. Control measures were used but it did n't help as the battlers resumed their fiasco after thread-closed. By the time things got to be revealed, huge damages have been done to our dear section. Rap battles thread turned to where camps went to flex muscles with votes. This ate deep into the organs of this section, no thanks to known names who were surprisingly the culprits. Before even my humble self knew what was happening, i got caught in the supremacy fight web.

In the couple of days ahead, many steps would be taken to restore sanity and credibility into this section. If anyone wants to abide by the rules, you are welcome on-board. If you cant, you can go and may be come back in November. This is rap battle section but it does nt give you right to break posting rules. We all want a fun-filled section like what mukina2 and co had in 2006/2007 in which you dont need to belong to one group before you win battles. We all crave for a section in which a great newbie can beat someone who's been here since 2008. We dont want a section where if you can bite set up you can win or you bite part of punchline you are good to go. We dont want battles to be decided on how well you know the mod or number of alternative monikers you have built.
Things will change, since we know where the smoke came from, we know where to direct our energy and we wont care whose ox is gored. Any fraudulent member/vet would be tamed, in no time clean and better ones would be raised. I hope for the love of the game we would abide by the rules. Ibeme: I don't know what history you got with Mikuz, and Yeyenatu is still new to rhyming, plus I made an error in my calculations. That's all good. You need not pay attention to those votes if you wish.

But you cannot base your grievances on a couple of dudes crying foul especially dudes who can barely string a rhyme together. Had Loona or Jigsaw or another vet voted for you, then you can feel aggrieved. Their vote would be worth 10 other people's votes. When Thunderstorm, Prekky, and Glacierz etc used to vote against me, I concede. I can't be claiming to be cheated based on the opinion of wackos who might not know the difference between a multi and a mono syllable. That's not good battle ethiquette.

I have made my point , any sensible person will know i was nt ranting unneccessarily. I never did this before and this would be my last. I did nt know that f00l mikuz had a plan, but thank God for your 6-5 verdict. It blew err thing. I only thought this kind of things happen in rigged political election in Nigeria. Only a f00l will be owned by mikuz verdict. saying kr0ne beat me in wordplay with ''bar beek ...you'' etc. I dont want to continue in this. Its irritating. It is obvious before drafting that verdict, your pen was already writing kr0ne inside its container. I leave you to battle the way you want it done. Meanwhile that thread is there for the records.

So i now read his verdict and realised the attrocity. I respected him to a fault. Definitely this was not a mistake by him. Its now i know niggas here acted a script, well-delivered. Assumed he tied it at 6-6 and said something like ''based on bla bla bla mvgt = kr0ne''. It will be understood. I blame myself though.

He deliberately set out to win thís category by packing his multis closer together.

Metaphors/similes - Krone. Thís is like scoring double for punches cos most of the best punches were based on metas. Krone used metas all through whilst Airmark switched to aggression and personals. =2

I checked your battle against kr0ne and it was straight win for you in most crits except closer and may be tie in flow but what do we have there? Imagine someone giving kr0ne punchlines point ? Even tieing it is a crime. If you dont win against kr0ne then coogar never won mikuz. Though coogar had his shortcomings, taking things overboard but i respect him more than most of these vets here. Thanks for your concerns. Though we do it for fun, but to be sincere i was shocked but i take it as games. That was why i did n't battle for long. But as regards fuckyouhard, i did what i should. But if really they planned against him, shame on those who did it. I was impressed by his verse. Same thing happened when i battled against mikuz, it was after the battle, coogar and fvckyouhard said the battle was actually mine. Nobody came out to tell it as it was then. On this one i dont want to complain. Kr0ne is my guy and if he wins, its all good. For long the verses will be there for all to judge.
