nateevs: This is the problem with you. You have suddenly turned this into a Sterling v Madueke argument. It is not.
Do you even remember what it is? I didn't type this, you did and i answered you. nateevs: Let's not go there Airmark. You and i don't support Sterling. But Sancho, Neto and Madueke, combined have not even matched half of Sterling's dross. But they are still here.
Why? |

nateevs: When you answer like that, then you are docking a potential factual debate for fear of losing.
To be honest, I don't want to get into this debate as well because you have started that thing again. For the record, I am staunchly anti-Sterling and NOT anti-Neto/Sancho at this point. Madueke is one of those that dislodged Sterling, so why must i remove him and leave Neto and Sancho? You added him confidently, and he is still in our team. You can't be shifting goalpost all the time. |

hensben: He is a bozo and using chelsea to learn how to be a striker. i don't blame him though. This was my argument since last season that he should be loaned out but Nateevs, Timbros, Ibime, Lordfalcao, drisham and their friends at Stamford bridge, shamelessly reduced our team to montessori. |

Why? Those ones are not 30 years, there's room for improvement and they can dribble unlike Sterling that can't even dribble two cones successfully, as a winger. Sterling's dross last season in Epl - 8 goals and 4 assists in 31 matchesUseless Madueke this season in Epl - 7 goals and 3 assists in 21 matches. The only thing last season's Sterling got pass Madueke, is Ikebe. |

nateevs: If i have to explain this, then it means you guys are not following the news from your club keenly. Clearlake specifically announced that they were looking for a coach and not a manager. The coach will have autonomy over all on-field activities, but will relinquish decision-making about personnel to the owners and TDs. Basically a yes man!
How are you just knowing this?
The ruthlessness being praised was therefore in the action of being able to enforce what was needed by the board, ruthlessly. The directors put Chalobah up for sale, so rightly he didn't play him. Nobody came in for Chalobah until deadline day, and so he was sent on loan. Same for Chilwell and Sterling because the board wanted to align wage bill.
How are you just knowing this?
And so consequently, the high-line is an on-field activity which he has autonomy over. So asking if he should or should not do that is silly. Also, it nearly worked. If Palmer had weighted his pass well to Jackson, it would have been 2-0 and it will be a different story. Managers make mistakes all the time. I don't see anyone having anything to say when he win 10 on a bounce.
Instead I am seeing people revising history now, saying we were only 2nd on the top because others under performed. A Sterling giving Palmer's numbers, would have remained with us. No sane coach wouldn't have asked Sterling to be ejected from his team with the nonsense he served last season.

hensben: This is someone that call himself a striker in professional football, I mean, what’s difficult in using his left leg to score this goal without even thinking of holding it. SMH Even Sodiki of all people, confirmed that even if it was to quickly slide and kick that ball into the net, Jackson should have done it. But because of his useless left foot, they are defending him. Is it my fault that a CF's left foot is useless? |

swiz123: Airmark cares about nothing but agenda. Jackson could and should have done better but Palmer missed that goal initially 💯. A sweet through ball from Caicedo which his first touch should have guided the ball to put him in a shooting position.
For example, check out Lewandowski first goal against Real Madrid in Barca 4 : 0 win in LA LIGA. A through ball from Cassado and Lewa's first touch kept the ball in a shooting position and he fired a low shot in the bottom right corner. If Palmer had shot the ball and saved by the keeper, you Jackson's asslickers would have blamed him for not setting him up to shoot into empty net. Jackson understood that his left foot is unreliable, that's why he had to break it with his right foot and looking for who to bail him out. I blame Palmer for thinking Jackson could score with his left foot though. |

lordfalcao: Apart from the pass been over hit, Palmer has no business passing that ball.
Put jackson in Palmer position, Airmark will tell you how Jackson spoilt a goal scoring opportunity by being afraid to shoot.
Put Palmer in Jackson position, probability of him even catching up with the ball is lesser than even shooting. Airmark will tell you again how Jackson made needless pass when he should be shooting to score. Shut your mouth, Palmer would have hit the ball once as it would have fallen to his powerful left foot. |

Check my posts when the thing happened.
But Palmer overhit that pass. Yes he overhit it but it's not out of reach of a striker who knows how to use his left foot to shoot the ball with confidence. Even Neto would have hit it once. |
