Just like Joelinton is still a striker, Oyarzabal still remains the wing wizard.

Unlimited22: I have always maintained that it's a function of both
That's why you see me advocate for upgrades in both attack and defence.
We can't see out games by scoring, and we can't see out games by riding out the storm.
Of course we will drop points.
I'm not delusional enough to believe that signing a striker alone is enough. Even washed Watkins scored against Everton and won it for Aston Villa, something Jackson failed to do in our 0-0 against them. Will you blame defence for the 0-0 draw too? It's delusional to think it was the defence that made us not to win the last 5 matches when it was obviously Jackson that missed most of all those clear chances to win them. I have created a database to keep tab of his big misses in case you guys want to turn fact on its head and blame the defence subsequently. |

Unlimited22: In Newcastle's last 9 matches, they've kept 6 clean sheets.
But of course we won't talk about that. Maybe when you look at the number of times they were 2-0 up with their striker scoring in all, you would get the true picture why opponents lost hope of recovering. |

Isak's last 5 matches - 8 goals and he scored in all the matches. Jackson's last 5 matches - 0 goal. The juju wey them do from Senegal to blind Chelsea's board members eyes from getting a better striker, must cast in Jesus name. |

swiz123: Yesterday was nothing but a confirmation that the RCB position is in shambles. Tosin and Acheampong have no natural talent, they learnt to play football as a means of escaping the poor job market of the UK marred by abysmal renumeration. The two of em should go and hustle somewhere else and leave top clubs for the talented ones.
Enzo's lack of legs have always been a cancer in that midfield. Lavia couldn't survive 90 minutes of what Enzo always did to Caicedo. Anyone who partners Enzo ends of ragged : from being forced to cover too much ground to having to lunge into tackles. His bald namesake will foolishly think his midfield partners are the ones having a bad game.
The disgust I feel for Jackson pales in comparison to Sancho's. But it seems the latter will sooner rather than later move us out of the top 4.
Then comes the biggest culprit, Maresca. Everything about this man screams mediocrity. There are at least 25 things I can list he is getting wrong which is in itself a sackable offense. Chelsea only attempted 420 passes yesterday because we couldn't control possession, most thanks to the untalented Acheampong who thought he was on a volleyball court. He was also hiding from Sanchez as not to receive a pass and help build from the back. Starting James at RCB would have 90% guaranteed a victory.
The biggest stupidity of Maresca is this is inverted full back nonsense. Our wingers are often left in one on one situations with opposition full backs which limits our threat from attacking positions. The inverted full backs who was supposed to help us beat the press and control possession have been quite shitty at it. For example, I know Gusto is useless but he wasn't this useless under Poch. We all know him as an energetic runner, not a Xavi or Iniesta which Maresca somehow sees him as.
Thunder will fire Maresca once again, cos for every time Sanchez played a long ball, my heart bled. Bournemouth was pressing high and aggressive and each time we beat their press, goal scoring opportunity arose. We just needed to be brave and handle that press which will make us score lots of goals, but the bastard didn't spot this on time and left the academy boy there.
Thinking of not qualifying for UCL next season is a shame too big for me to handle 😥😥😥 See how you avoided to hammer on Jackson's wastefulness in this your epistle. If you make heaven make I bend. |

I like how Reece James hammered on those first half misses by Jackson. As a captain you need to be vocal, so the club can do the needful and resolve our major problem this January.
Chelsea is not a club where a striker will start learning the basics of scoring in league matches. The likes of Solanke, Abraham, Broja were sent on loan because they couldn't meet our standard. But here we are, with a striker who doesn't know which of his legs to use to shoot.
Anyone still defending Jackson is obviously a Chelsea hater like that Aba-made fan.

airmark: I don't know how both Arteta and Maresca couldn't figure it out that Fraudiola won treble with both Barcelona and Man city with quality strikers in his attack.
Both will be stupid if they don't get a quality striker, as Liverpool will definitely crack after teams master ways of keeping Salah quiet.
Chris Wood at 33 is pushing Forest up the table, our own Jackson at 22 is dragging us down the table. |
