No. Just keep attacking and you are good to go!

Airmark is a disgrace.
If we paraded Jackson as our striker and Sterling as winger, we wouldn't be in the Semifinal.

Cont....

I'll give numerous examples starting with Arsenal (my club).

Arsenal: At 2-0 up, Palmer had the chance to make it 3-0 with a one on one after dispossessing was it Gabriel. He squandered such a big chance.
Jackson had a pure one on one with keeper and he decided to dribble him. He fluffed it. Another big chance missed.
The first goal we scored by GK mistake actually emboldened us and we would have almost won it since 2-0 is always a dangerous scoreline(against a big team)

Aston Villa: Sterling had one on one with two options to pass to but he acted both selfishly and he couldn't even convert it. A big chance missed.
Jackson also had another big chance to put the game ahead, yet he fluffed his line too.
This actually emboldened Villa coupled with the red card to Gusto (I think), there's always one winner.
You can use same exact scenario against Everton but In this case it ended 2-0 (loss obviously)

Brentford: Missed chance upon missed chances until Brentford scored their first goal. So many culprits.
The second goal happened because of Chelsea was trailing and they needed to get something — anything out of the game.

I can go on and on on how Chelsea attackers missed chances actually put pressure on the defence and consequently on the team losing.

Lastly, to further prove the point. How many times have Chelsea scored first against a small/midtable team and actually lost or drew the game?. I doubt it has happened this season and even if it has, I doubt it's more than twice.

We can blame defence for because goal conceded says so but those who watched Chelsea this season knows that lack of quality attack that's causing this losses.

It's like a car which has engine problem and refuse to start but we blame the steering for not directing the car to move the way we want then claim the steering isn't working.

Fix the attack and the defence will sort itself. Not necessarily title contenders yet but at least top 4 contenders !!
Timbros, like in Yoruba, Omo ti o ba gba eko nile ati ita ni won ma ti ko (a child that refuses to get home training, will be disgracefully trained from outside).

Imagine an Arsenal fan educating a Chelsea fan of decades, like a juvenile. I am ashamed. cry

Liverpool is topping the league and topping the big chances missed

Your team has missed the same amount of big chances as Everton and Newcastle
Topping with 1 big chance missed I guess.

Liverpool have more shots and 51 goals scored against our 36, to show that they have a more effective attack. Among the top 10 teams we had the lowest shots on goal, that defines our impotent attack.

Last season Spurs conceded 63 goals and still topped us with our better 47 goals conceded. Your guess is as good as mine, as their attack was better than ours.

You outscore your opponents to get maximum 3 points in matches.

This current season Real Madrid has conceded 14 goals in 22 LA Iiga games
While Chelsea has conceded 35 goals in the same 22 games

By January your team has conceded 35 goals with 16 games to go

How many teams have won the league with a goals against of more than 35. Most league winners in epl don't even concede 35 goals in a 38 games your team has conceded

This season you are 8th in goals scored but 10th in goals conceded. Yet you don't think your major problem is in your defence?

Boateng can do anything he wants after winning the CL and world cup like Ronaldinho did after the age of 30

Na useless players like Silva who didnt achieve anything important on the field will die on the pitch
No, Boathand can't do anything he wants regarding his career. In fact, he wanted to rejoin Bayern but he failed the arranged soccer trial in Munich, as Bayern fans threatened fire and brimstone should they bring the calamitous defender back to Munich to play.

He begged Heidenheim and clubs in the Arab region, but after sizing him up, they ran away from him. It was a doomed Salernitana, that he later begged and they agreed.

The likes of Sergio Ramos. Puyol, played Ucl football at 35, but Boathand was begging up and down at same age to play for clubs in relegation zone. He disgracefully joined a poverty-stricken club, living on life support in Serie A.

Man is even looking depressed.

Airmark you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing a quote Pep made in 2016, the year he joined City, and sold that lie to you.

8 years later, he has spent the budget of 4 African countries put together on only defenders to be able to win titles and you shamelessly screenshot that article today, in 2024, to prove what point?

If you are literally interpreting that phrase you quoted, why do teams have defenders? Why don't you just field 11 attackers since attacking is the best form of defence?
I will encourage you to continue with the lies if it lowers your BP.

Which of the defenders did Fraudiola buy for 100m, like Grealish? Does Bernardo Silva at 70m, looks like a defender to you? Which of the defenders is earning same weekly pay as Haaland?

As it stands, Lordfalcao Sabi football pass you.

This Boathand begged all over the world before getting signed by a doomed Salernitana. grin

At 35, Ramos, Pepe, Puyol, were all playing champions league football. But like Valdes, Boathand got exposed and became useless, immediately he left the team that carried him to win honours.

I was 100% right on the calamitous defender. cool

Talking about line flying over the head, Airmark you are a disgrace.
Fans opinion? You don't even know that apart from Barca confirming that line (attack is the best form of defence), many coaches and even Fraudiola verbally said it at City and he has won the elusive Ucl the year he added Haaland (a quality striker) to his team.

Since defence wins you title, why not advise to sell all our attackers and buy more defenders.

You are a joke.

Airmark said we have 10 defenders so therefore, we are stacked in defence.

Our defence is very okay with Badashile, Disasi, Dr. Fofana, soon to retire Silva, Dr. Reece, Dr. Chilly etc etc...

Let's focus on attack. Once fixed, we are challenging for the next title!
'Attack is the best form of defence'. Barca's MSN confirmed that and you can ask sensible Barca fan to educate you, in case that line flew over your head.

You are a joke.

Was it the defence that made Chelsea not to start a natural striker and made Mudryk to miss that big chance yesterday?

Tell us what you meant by balance, with Badiashile and co and without new additions. I want to learn, Mr. Balancing rim.

The same balance that wasn't there and we got clean sheet against Aston Villa, but couldn't score a goal to forge ahead. And also in matches with 17+ shots and no goal scored.

Yea, our defence is VERY OK.

Badashile, Disasi are very okay. The kind of defenders you contend titles with.
So, we should buy another defender when we have like 10 defenders in the team.

Nkunku showed a glimpse of what has been missing from our top striker, and he is not even a top 9, but you were blind to it.

Our top striker got benched throughout the AFCON, that should have cleared your doubt, but NO, we should continue to buy more defenders while we don't have one quality striker.

You no well.
