Too loose and stupid.

Basically, they could have asked for our advice on this thread before proceeding.

I think that they are playing to the gallery: Fighting for fighting .

Someone even said that it looks like Tinubu took Dayo/Soludo's advice seriously that he also hired lawyers for Obi.

Man knows the number of LP agents but he doesn't know the number of polling units for elections.

LP lawyers gave the respondents a lot of time to prepare and destroy their witnesses. I will be shocked if Obi and LP are not fined for wasting the time of the court. Disgusting.
Some of us saw it coming.

I hope Obidients will do the needful and cancel those lawyers after today.

In all of these, I want to know why Obi allowed those lawyers to handle his case like baby lawyers. I know they must have hinted him about their plans, before embarrassing themselves.

Obi may not even be as educated and brilliant as some people portrayed him. The holes were too many to be allowed to cross.

It's a mess. One of them turned out to be a LP member who also contested for HOR and lost.

I see why the judges wanted it televised. This way, they have absolved themselves to a great degree.
I am not a lawyer but I saw it as a red flag and I was shocked when Obi and his lawyers presented such witness. I remember I called out Donjazet and others attention to it but they kept mum.

I am even thinking this Obi might have been bought over by Tinubu. It seems like they deliberately put up a stupid show in this case.

Shoddy performance. You would think they were bought by Tinubu.

Those lawyers should refund Obi. I know Donjazet would feel like strangling them by now. See as their witness, Labour Party chieftain, 'killed' Obi below.

And Airmark, this is your very comment from 4 years ago. The same skewed judiciary system your validation of Peter Obi to accepting stems from.
Yes, PDP were the chief architect of the destruction of Nigeria, and APC under Buhari put finishing touches.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi, allegedly perpetrated electoral malpractices in his guber election, and was subsequently called a failure in Anambra, until he was packaged for God-knows-why as the best thing since sliced bread, in 2023.

Nigeria is a failed state mostly led by scammers and Obi is one of them.

Mary Odili, Pastor Adefarasin, and the DSS already made it obvious and certain what the " verdict" is since Friday. Why should Obi be there? Or early even?

If anything, you should applaud Obi and the LP for putting up press releases urging his millions of supporters to stay calm. He's the reason the match would have set off complete anarchy hasn't been lit since March 19.

Different from your Buhari who threatened to soak our bloods and Tinubu who told us he was ready to go to war. Trump didn't say half as dangerous things to be indicted.

Lols, very funny. You don't even know the level of research I did on the history of religions, both local and foreign, before embracing irreligion, specifically agnosticism.

Ogun was a great human, a fiercesome Yoruba warrior. He had many good sides and various bad sides as well. But compared with Allah or Jehovah, Ogun was actually a saint.

The problem of those Africans that practice the Abrahamic religions is that they don't check things in detail before accepting them as true.

That's a key sign of low intelligence.

When the colonialists came, the Africans were brainwashed and ran from Ogun because of his fiercesome attributes and bad sides and went to embrace another past human that calls himself God, who's even a thousand times worse.

They left their forefather that they think is bad for another person that's a demon, pure evil.

They judge Ogun wrongly and unfairly using the standards of the modern world but their low IQ and mental weakness won't allow them to hold Allah or Yahweh, Ogun's contemporaries, to the same standards they hold Ogun.

But Ogun was a celebrated warrior in his time and made key developments that advanced his people and culture. Hence, he was deified for his historic feats.

Many things he did in his time were lawful in that era. But they're not today.

Anyone that holds Allah and Yahweh to the same standards they use to judge Ogun, Sango, Esu will gladly embrace the latter set who are his ancestors, his roots.

This is because those last three are actually saints when compared with Allah and Yahweh, who're demons, pure evil.

I looked at all these gods critically and discovered that many of the local gods are relatively better and more humane compared with the foreign gods, their mates.

That's why anyone that calls me Omo Eshu (Eshu's child), Omo Ogun (Ogun's child), or Omo Sango (Sango's child) or elebo (pagan), I'd just tell them, "I'd rather be called any of those than having anything to do with demons from Arabia or Isreal."

And historically, those titles apply to all Yorubas.

Even so, highly intelligent people don't worship Ogun, Sango, and the likes in modern times again. What's the gain in that? Where were Ogun, Sango, and the likes when the invaders, colonialists, and slave masters came?

But if I see any African worshipping any of their African ancestors, I actually commend them for their intelligence and courage, but I just urge them to modernize their spirituality and put more emphasis on critical thinking, philosophy, and science and less attention on worshipping and making sacrifices to a deity.

They should adopt a science-based approach to spirituality.

I don't have much issues with those ones. But Christianity and Islam are huge threats to Africa.

Both of them seek to destroy Africa, but the founders of the continent won't allow them, which is why the pillars of support of both religions have been cut off using science and technology.

The guy that's talking about abolishing African cultures and traditions is very ignorant and naive.

He thinks those cultures and traditions he sees around in Africa created themselves, but they were designed by some past humans, who are their guardians.

When Africa was colonized and enslaved, that happened because some past African ancestors actually lost the battle in the unphysical realms, which religious people call spiritual realms, to the European and Arab ancestors.

(The physical realms we see with our two eyes are actually a picture or projection of the unphysical realms. Otem and Plato explained this deeply. No time to go into that now.)

However, the reverse is the case now, and the pillars of support of those two religions from Europe and Arabia have been cut off. In the coming years, science and technology will keep growing and growing and human brains will evolve.

That's bad news for Allah and Yahweh, who are the pillars of support of Arabia and Israel and some parts of Europe respectively.

So, the death of Islam and Christianity is only a matter of time. They'd soon get a taste of what ATR suffered.
Hahaha, I wasn't ready for this now. I need to find something to eat before reading. 😄

Lols, very funny. Islam is my religion of birth. I was indoctrinated and forced to engage in it from childhood.

If I had a choice and knew everything I know now as a child, I'd have remained an agnostic, which is the state of every human when they're born.

Fortunately, on reaching adulthood, I was lucky to interact with some highly intelligent people on Nairaland, which allowed me to research the history of the religion deeply and left it some years ago.

Now, I don't immerse myself in a specific philosophy, however great it's. So, yes, if I go deeper into Ifa and become initiated as an onifa (a priest of Ifa or babalawo), I'd still leave it later and become a freethinker.

But I don't really have the time or interest for such things. So, I don't immerse myself in a specific philosophy.

I read wide from diverse philosophies. Only a low-level thinker worships his mate as a god/God and immerses himself in that god's philosophy, which people call a religion, instead of creating his own philosophy to live by.

I don't worship any god/God. Now and in the foreseeable future, I'd always be a freethinker and an agnostic. Some people might call themselves pure atheists in the West.

However, I pity any freethinker in Africa that embraces pure atheism. It doesn't make sense and is a risky position to adopt in Africa.

Agnosticism, whether leaning towards theism, deism, or atheism, is actually the most reasonable position for freethinkers.

Some m.orons actually think my support for Otem means I follow his philosophy. But Otem himself knows I regard his works critically and put them through a test of scrutiny and logic.

Those that gave the book to him even urged readers to adopt this critical/skeptical approach as all of them were atheists and agnostics during their times on Earth.
Cool story.

However, since you haven't gone deeper into Ifa, Ogun etc, to understand what scared some people away from them to embrace foreign religions, why can't you cease criticizing them and go deeper first?

I believe you know Ogun is hailed by: ... O lomi nile f'eje we (..one with water at home but prefers to bath with blood). Ogun worshippers don't see anything wrong in that, but some members of other faiths may see it as filthy and devilish.

Summarily, live and let live, as what you carry gorgeously as the best, may be battered from the other side, and you are left for a fool. Mind you, I am not against any faith or belief.
