Reference: I can see a lot of folks praising the Man and his choice as Minister. Good. But this should be short lived. We must also face the reality that this is the exact reason why nothing really works, or works in the kind of sustainable manner to build what is called an institution, a culture.
It is just reprehensible that a Ministry with thousands of staff have to depend on the Minister to call to order a Contractor handling a far flung project. It shows the lack of ethics and proper corporate governance.
Something is broken in that Ministry that is much more important than the project in question and could be far reaching round other parts of the country.
I know that not only does the Ministry of Works have Supervising agents in its employment but it also engages Consultants and high cost. Enough layers of protection to ensure quality is delivered at this time of great infrastructural deficit and economic pressure.
We must insist that Works department as an institution is reformed and an end put to the laxity and wanton corruption that has bedeviled it for a generation.
That is the responsibility of the Minister and the biggest legacy he will leave. Much more important than his presence on every construction site. Let him be on every construction site for now, if it guarantees good jobs by the contractors. He will fight corruption in the ministry later. Nigerians need result right now. |

Reference: But why does it take A MINISTER to see shoddy jobs. What is happening in that parastatal full of people on the taxpayers tab that should be supervising these jobs. Compromise everywhere.
Heads must roll or this will never end. The Minister in truth has no business addressing the Contractor. It is demeaning. It is not his job. His FIRST line of success will be to get his Ministry working. Get his staff to do their bloody jobs or show them the way out. In one single post, you gave a valid reason for his action and later rubbished it. All those people doing oversight and monitoring are the people enabling contractors to do shoddy jobs while the people suffer. He needed to do this so as to send signals to all contractors that a new sheriff is in town and it is better as it will ensure proper jobs by contractors henceforth. |

Banky doesn’t have the resources to deploy and win a rerun in 90 days , neither does the PDP stand a strong chance in any election in Lagos state .
If Banky should win, then truly miracle still happens . Banky will finish a distant 3rd, unless miracle happens like you opined. |

A001: I already addressed this question before. I don't have the luxury of time to rehash the explanation now in a lengthy post.
I explained it when I talked about the issue of transfer of knowledge in a race or people across generations. I'd give a brief explanation:
When an intelligent person researches his history and learns about his culture and traditions, he can stumble upon some of the great works developed by his ancestors or forebears of the past eras and build on their works.
Some Africans luckily see some unknown gadgets and technologies in their dreams. That's their ancestors sending a message to them.
If such an African that got such a message act on it, he can become our own Thomas Edison on Africa or influence other Africans to achieve such status.
Some of technologies you see around today were messages some past people sent to modern humans and inspired them to build the technologies.
Mazda is a good example. Ahura Mazda is a past human that lived in places around the Asian continent.
Or you think the name, Mazda, you see all around is a coincidence?
A Yoruba person can learn about Ifa, one of his ancestors, and if he/she's into science and technology, Ifa, a past scientist and programmer, can inspire him/her to build a gadget that he/she will name after Ifa.
Then, when such a gadget is exported to other places, people around will start seeing Ifa, Ifa all around but won't know that Ifa was a man.
Many technologies you see all around are actually inspiration from past humans, which religious people worship as God ignorantly.
That's one key reason a typical Arab doesn't joke with his ancestor, Allah, and forefathers, unlike most Africans.
If an African luckily dreams about a popular technology of the past human eras (a revelation from their ancestor) and they're lucky to find the philosophy and science (developed by that ancestor while on Earth) underlying that technology, that person is on the path of greatness.
When there are many of such cases in a country or continent, that's one of the key ways through which societies develop and advance: The advantage of transfer of knowledge for a people across generations.
But if he's one of the mumu people that demonize their ancestors and forebears, he can't have such an opportunity. There are tons of benefits of promoting your culture and traditions. Who saw Ronaldo, Neymar, Brozovic, Mendy in his dream among the Saudi Arabians or who among their sheikhs was told by his ancestor in his dream, to bring all those stars from Europe? |

A001: Lols, all these funny questions sha. You think the Arabs just promote their ancestor, Allah, for nothing?
Highly intelligent people know if, as a people, you don't have the backing and support of your ancestor and forebears, such people won't develop. They'll be the slaves of this world. How did they make their ancestors support the transfers of Ronaldo, Neymar, Ighalo and others to their country? |

A001: This is why the Arab people and other highly intelligent peoples around the world don't joke with their ancestors, forefathers, and cultures, unlike a majority of Africans.
As a human and African, the benefits of promoting good aspects of your native culture and traditions, while condemning the bad aspects, are enormous. Ki lo tun kan ancestors bayi? (What brought ancestors into this?).😄 |

Nostradamus1: Obi' lawyer didn't protest it
The biggest culprit here is the lawyers. They should be beaten blue and black. The case was bad enough but also badly prepared.
They needed to convince the judges that there was suppression. They failed to provide an independent expert instead producing a report. The judges rightfully had to ask if a book can be cross examined.
They failed to bring party agents who were beaten and disenfranchised in Rivers to testify along with police /hospital report (I recall seeing injuries). They failed to produce evidence of suppression and rigging that is enough just to get a dissenting judge.
They literally did nothing and the more I look at it, it seems they sabotaged OBi or Labor party has been settled by Tinubu I remember educating that mumu spy360 that Obi lawyers were stupid for bringing a labour party member/candidate as an expert witness. That alone showed those lawyers deserve to be taken to Ogbete market and flogged mercilessly, by all the masquerades in Enugu. |

Yes, they needed to bark at the Obidients, so as to serve as deterrent to other people that may want to go the way of the headless mob to bully the judiciary. She tendered hard copy result from her Polling unit agent to show that the one declared by INEC is wrong and she was the winner of the election.
