aLgoridim: Former Petroleum Resources Minister, Mrs. Deziani Alison-Madueke is very ill and has been hospitalized in a London hospital for an undisclosed ailment, family sources said over the weekend.
The often-reliable family sources told THEWILL that the former Minister has been hospitalized for weeks and hasn’t deliberately avoided Nigeria for fear of being probed by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
THEWILL gathered that Deziani had undergone treatment in a London hospital for an undisclosed form of cancer during her tenure as Minister.
THEWILL further gathered that Deziani is being closely monitored and has not been allowed to see friends except close family members for weeks. Cellphones and other transmitting devices are also not allowed in her hospital room because of radiation, the sources told THEWILL.
Source: http://thewillnigeria.com/news/deziani-critically-ill-in-london-hospital/ If she is ill, I wish her speedy recovery to face PMB probe over the missing $150 billion under PDP & GEJ. There is no running or hiding away from this probe fire! |

The idea of buying arms for cash was the criminal intention to defraud Nigeria by previous government. The arms market is huge with China and Russia ready to assist Nigeria, so the tale told by the past government of why it resorted to carrying millions of dollars in cash shows how rotten the system was. |

@ OP, what tribal bigotry!
In the EU and UK, Ibos declare themselves as Nigerians and carry Nigerian passports. They don't fill forms and declare themselves as "Biafrans". If they do, they would be stateless and subject to deportation to where they come, which is Nigeria not biafra.

PentiumPro: Tell me exactly when did you guys start this clamor for seccession. This noise started after GEJ electoral defeat. Your clamor to the best of my understanding is a ruse that you only developed after you realized you lost the political game. Leave the SW out of your delusion, when the SW find enough reasons and the means to exit Nigeria, they wouldn't be seeking the support of any other nationality like you folks are doing. You are making it to look like without the tactic support of the SW, you guys can't do it on your own. Don't mind him. They think they are clever to use SW against Nigeria as if SW is not an integral part of Nigeria, which she shed her blood so that Nigeria remained one. It is only in Nigeria that we have this fanciful idea that every tribe should be a country, which means Nigeria will disintegrate into 300 or more tribe-countries. Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Angola, India, China, Russia, etc have different tribes and nationalities coexisting peacefully and prosperously without being hindered or weighed down by unnecessary tribal bigotry and clamour for tribal countries as is being spearheaded by the Ibos. |
Politics › Re: U.S Declare That Nigeria Is The Most Important Country In Africa by aishababa(f): 10:08pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
kushma: Just ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the United States, a former assistant secretary of state, Johnnie Carson, is now saying that the discussion between nigeriaand United Statesshould not be restricted to insecurity alone because nigeriaas he said is “the most important country in Africaand must be treated as such”. The former assistant secretary said in an interview with Reuters that Washington should not let security issues overshadow the need for closer trade and investment ties. In his words: “Nigeriais the most important country in Africa, now more than ever the relationship withNigeriashould not rest essentially on a security and military-to-military relationship” Similarly, US Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken told Reuters that: “President Barack Obama has long seenNigeriaas arguably the most important strategic country in sub-Saharan Africa.” Over the years the ties between the US andNigeriahave strained because Nigerian government refused to investigate corruption allegations in the country. Blinken said “The question is would there be an opportunity to deepen our engagement and that opportunity is now” when speaking on Buhari’s three-day visit to Washington. Hopefully, this Buhari’s visit would yield a lot of fruit! Also, I’m very happy that even the Oyibo people know that Naija is a force to be reckoned with. If only we can just get past all of this little little things holding us back. God will help us my people. There is no doubt about Nigeria's place in the world. Is just that corruption and bad government have held her back. |
Politics › Re: Igbo Youths Caution Nnamdi Kanu On His Radio Biafra Broadcast by aishababa(f): 10:02pm On Jul 19, 2015 |
elbukaze: Igbo youths under the auspices of The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths have cautioned Mr Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra not to incite Ndigbo against the President or any part of Nigeria, even if they have the right to express their views.
These views should not create undue hoopla in the nation. Ndigbo have sacrificed a lot for Nigeria and are even the owners of Nigeria considering their size, population and the struggle for independence by their forebears.
Yes, the Nigerian nation may not have given Ndigbo their due rights, but that should not lead to the kind of hate speeches emanating for Radio Biafra.
It should not and does not imply that Ndigbo as a group support the Broadcasts. Nnamdi Kanu and his group have never told Ndigbo at any forum what he is doing with their name. The Igbo nation is too big for anybody to take them for granted. Wise heads reasoning as opposed to hot-heads with misconceived ideas broadcasting incitement to violence and war! Ibos are everywhere in Nigeria with properties and businesses in every corner of Nigeria. They have inter-married with virtually every tribes in Nigeria. Ibos are integral part of Nigeria and is it not best for them to build on their successes in Nigeria and fight for their rights within it? How then does anyone who holds the welfare of Ibos at heart can advocate violent secession? |

No wonder he did not give a damn about declaring assets!
Question remains! After all these billions, why did he still want to remain president for a further 4 years? To set Nigeria ablaze?
Man is indeed a greedy animal!
Nigeria must go to the end of the world to recover those loots.
