like it or not, entrepreneurship is the best and wisest option now, the country promises nobody a dream job. All the skills that have been operated by semi literate or illiterate with cheap prices, graduates have ventured into them and have created unique outlook out of them, that is why you see crazy charges by photographer, event decorator, baker, jewellers, graphics designers nowadays. It is better we wake up and have visions. We are not all cut out to be entrepreneurs, fine, do u know what u were cut out for. Where are your dream jobs? Got them yet? It is better to stop blaming govt n connections. Take charge of your life. Nobody says it will be easy but it will definitely worth it with constant practice n determination. Op has spoken and he has great points. |

A good person should know when to apologise and when to forgive. Whatever you don't like let her know you can't take it. Not all women are dramatic. Be gentle and mean it. We prefer that to raging |

TheSonOfMark: Déjà vu surely isn't rare. Most romantic relationships go through similar phases for better or worse.
Chrysalis : I crave it. It's one of best therapeutic experiences ever. Listening to rain drops platter on the rooftop on a Saturday evening, the dripping water forming intricate patterns on windowpanes and light bulbs illuminating and turning them in little pockets of diamonds, prisms even. Better still, while watching all of this, there's a low-sounding R&B song (Craig David's "Key To My Heart" or Joe Thomas' "Almost There" would be the clincher ) playing in the background. Pure bliss!
Therapy doesn't get better than that. u surely know your stuff. It is my thing too. You must be a lover of nature n art. Attaboy |

glowingscenes: Lmaooo...At all o. I'm so sorry if that looked like that was the message being passed across. Aisha isn't muslim o. Biko, she's Hausa and I don't believe it's all Hausas that are muslims. I even stated it clearly when I described how beautiful she was. She has a fulani descent and doesn't claim any religion. Please don't put what I didn't put in the story. loool. For example, someone can be called Rebecca or Ruth or Paul or any other name from the bible, I won't now say, Oh you must be 'Christian' because you bear Paul or one biblical name.
And maybe I just wasn't aware about Aisha being a 'muslim' name. If it's as a result of my passive assumption, sorry about that. Pls ignore and enjoy the story! Much love dear! xo! Aisha is a Muslim name, Saheed too(main reason why I raised eye brow) I write too but poems. No hard feeling sis, I just brought it to your attention. May God increase you in knowledge |
Literature › Re: Beautiful Wings By Glowingscenes by AishyWemsy(f): 1:29pm On Apr 26, 2016 |
As much as your story is keeping me at the edge, wanting to know more, I think you are biased in religion sense, why would the main betrayal in the story has a Muslim name and the driver too. The good ones the christains. Unless you are writing a faith based book you shouldn't favour a religion. Love the story though 1 Like 1 Share |
