nwakibie3: The youth caucus of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said Nigerians need to restructure their minds and hearts and not the country.
The group also demanded the immediate arrest of perpetrators of hate speeches in the country.
The caucus made the call through its Chairman, Comrade Markk Joseph Nsimbehe.
It said the group supports all the core issues as stated by President Muhammadu Buhari in his Monday’s nationwide broadcast.
He told reporters in Abuja, “We are in support of every effort targeted at unifying all the ethnic nationalities. We are for peace, we are for progress and we are one Nigeria.
“We urge the federal government to step up and arrest these disgruntled elements and their sponsor accordingly.
“We acknowledged the effort of the federal government for wanting to establish special court for hate speech.
“We urge those clamouring for restructuring to take a second look at it while channeling their reasons for the call to the appropriate quarters. Political structures evolve over time.
“Nigeria has been restructured at various times and the agitations have not stopped. Let us therefore restructure our hearts and minds so that the real restructuring of the country can be meaningful.”
This APC has no bearing whatsoever, the same party that created a committee on restructuring nigeria, now coming out to say we should restructure minds, who should restructure what, I hope that's not for the masses, they should rather restructure there minds and restructure nigeria once and for all
While the likes of Lai Mohammed enjoyed the use of social media to critize and insult Jonathan, who knew there skin is not even tough enough to withstand or resist criticism and insult, I remember them uploading a pic of there media center in 2015 where lot of youths were sited in front of computers deseminating propanganda info, hate speeches and insults to jona, them they monitor everything now, be careful guys

Nigeria, this is how it's done, not just by endless dialogue, you got to fight for what you want mehn, a smaller country have this confidence to pull something like this but the giant of Africa citizenry are so scared mehn, even me I'm scared mehn, at a time where our life is centered around politics, you hardly do anything or get anything without politics coming into play, one day we will rise up and take our country back. Another attention seeking young upcoming Nigerian producer, your tactics is working well but your use of social media is questionable why because you choose to rant on twitter without proper investigation, on the same twitter your rant on, davido recongnized and gave Dammy krane the well deserved credit and shout out for cowriting the hook on the song, you didn't produce, mix or master the song, you didn't write it or have anything to do with yetyou are shouting, This HOD of a guy should be arrested and sued for character defemation.
"Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social rights for women.[1][2] This includes seeking to establish educational and professional opportunities for women that are equal to such opportunities for men.
Feminist movements have campaigned and continue to campaign for women's rights, including the right to vote, to hold public office, to work, to earn fair wages or equal pay, to own property, to receive education, to enter contracts, to have equal rights within marriage, and to have maternity leave. Feminists have also worked to promote bodily autonomy and integrity, and to protect women and girls from rape, sexual harassment, and domestic violence.[3] Changes in dress and acceptable physical activity have often been part of feminist movements."
Now lets start with the question of "is the woman gender disadvantaged today?" In our society today especially in Nigeria much preference is given to women today, even in our relationships its the girlfriend that enjoys the fringe benefits. In the wake of any disaster women and children are given preference, yet men have never complained and said this is "inequality". Considering the definition as obtained from Wikipedia, lets critically look at this: "to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social rights for women" In Nigeria today Women have social, political, economic, personal, and social rights. Women contest for political positions in Nigeria today, Women are head of coporations in Nigeria today.
"right to vote, to hold public office, to work, to earn fair wages or equal pay, to own property, to receive education, to enter contracts, to have equal rights within marriage, and to have maternity leave" As earlier stated Women have the right to vote, and earn equal wages with their male counterparts, they own properties and have access to education. Is it realistic to have equal rights in marriage? Can there be 2 leaders at the same time?
"bodily autonomy and integrity, and to protect women and girls from rape, sexual harassment, and domestic violence" Men also suffer rape and domestic violence so why is there a special movement for women on that. Only on the exceptions of religous sections of the country that restrict women's bodily autonomy. At that is an issue with religion not men. right? ..... Thanks for reading to this point. I have not made any conclusions but i have only drawn realistic applications of feminism in Nigeria today.
I will like to know what you think. Is feminism relevant in Nigeria today? FACTS ONLY INTELLIGENT COMMENTS
Women who really don't know what's feminism is try all there possible best to relate it to something that has to do with family orientation and family equality which in my opinion can never be achieved.
dainformant: Since it was reported that president Muhammadu Buhari will spend three months working from home after his office was damaged by rats, Nigerians have not rested in making mockery of the situation considering how such a highly guarded place could be infiltrated by mere rodents.
Some Nigerians have dug up an old article where it was revealed that the White House was overrun with Cockroaches and Rats..
According to the article, the White House – the home of the country’s sitting President and his family – has always had a problem keeping unwanted rodents out. President Carter had mice. President Bush had rats. President Obama has cockroaches.
Nigeria's government spokesman Garba Shehu said the office required renovation after damage was done by the rats to the furniture and air conditioning in his absence.
Buhari regime trying to justify everything, why not keep mute about the rat issue. The more they talk about thing going on in Aso rock and Buhari the more they get backlash from people
The northern region is a Menace to this country as a whole, they rejected/voted against restructuring at the National Assembly because of there numerical advantage, what is the fear of the north ? In all recongnized democratic country in the world, Nigeria is the only one still practicing the unitary system of government, even Ghana of 25million people practice the regional system of government, you travel out of the country, you see how developed the western world is and you say to yourself I want my country to be like this, why not, it's possible. USA, Europe, Americas, even Arabians, plus a few African country Practice the regional system of government, but Nigeria even with the resources we have, leaders are self centered and won't allow this restructuring thing.
Techpaded: Nowadays, only few people make international calls due to the presence of Over-the-top (OTT) plays like Whatsapp, Skype, Wechat, Facebook, Viber and IMO. This caused a global revenue loss of $386 billion, from 2012 to 2018 for the telecoms operators. Hence, MTN, Airtel, GLO and 9Mobile are lamenting, urging the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to intervene and stop OTT services .
In opposition to this, I suggest that OTT plays should be left alone, because we users buy data from the Telcos to access services like WhatsApp, Skype, etc. While they are lamenting losses from voice/video calls, they are, on the other hand, jubilating from excess gains they make from data.
This won't see the light of the day at any level, even the telecoms big wigs uses OTT services, news outlet, government officials and a whole lot uses OTT services, they must be outta there mind to even think of this

Olivia who shared photos from her introduction ceremony with a man she never dated, wrote;

toba400: Few days ago, Davido announced that his associate, Dammykrane, beat his fraud case in the U.S and he is now a free man.
However, it may not yet be Uhuru for him, ifa statement obtained from Tapjets, the company he allegedly defrauded, is anything to go by. ..A statement obtained from Mr. Konstantin, Tapjets’ Head of flight safety and security, reads: “There is a 180-day delay in bringing full charges.
Information from our attorney indicated that his accomplice, Chukwuebuka Ilochonwu, is giving police full cooperation.
This was why they asked for 180 days to bring big charges.
So he is not free. Court record says “no action” it does not say “not guilty.”
You going to all length to speak bad and bring a brother down, tapjet say, davido say, dammy say, he's a free man bro, na the other guy get case of which dammy needs to appear in court
Nigeria’s fastest-growing airline, Air Peace made its inaugural flight from the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos into the Akure Airport on Sunday, with a delighted crowd of Ondo State government officials, aviation regulators investors and other dignitaries giving the airline a rousing welcome in Akure.
On board the maiden Lagos-Akure flight, which touched down to a spectacular water salute from two trucks mounted by officers of the Fire Service Department of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) at the Akure Airport, where the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Mr. Allen Onyema, Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide, the carrier’s Ambassador, Kcee and other dignitaries.
Ondo State First Lady, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu and the Deputy Governor, Mr. Agbola Ajayi led a mixed crowd of government officials and other dignitaries to receive the Boeing 737 aircraft with registration mark 5N-BQO at the Akure Airport.
Governor Akeredolu, who could not conceal his joy at Air Peace’s entry into the Akure-Lagos-Akure route, said his administration decided to partner with the airline to drive the economic development of the oil-producing state through air transportation.
Emphasising the benefits of partnering with the airline in the areas of tourism and investment, the governor said: “No doubt, we have an air link to Ondo from Lagos, it means a lot to Ondo State people. Our drive is for investment and a lot of our investors want to come in.”
He added: “We are starting with Lagos-Akure and Akure back to Lagos. We already have an airline running Akure-Abuja but it would not stop Air Peace if they find out that they can also do combined flight. It will be in our interest, but what we have now is Lagos-Akure, Akure-Lagos with Air Peace.”
He advised officials of the state government to take advantage of the new flight service to avoid kidnappers and other criminal elements, warning that his administration would not pay ransom to secure anybody’s release.
Air Peace, the governor revealed, was preferred among other airlines the state negotiated with.
“We discussed with many airlines, but those involved in the negotiations were able to report to me that Air Peace gave us the best in terms of their offer. The offer appears better than other airlines. And again, it is a growing airline. They have even promised us to deploy one of their expected new aircraft to this route,” Akeredolu said.
He praised the Chairman of Air Peace, Mr. Allen Onyema for supporting his administration’s effort to open up Ondo State to investors and investment.
On his part, Onyema assured that Air Peace was in Ondo State to collaborate with the Akeredolu administration to boost the economy of the state and power the development of the country through air transport.
“It is part of Air Peace’s drive to contribute to the unity and development of this country. So, you can see now, N10,000 for a one-way trip; it has never happened before. We decided to do this in order to assist Ondo State. Human and mineral resources abound in Ondo State. We want to help investors go into Akure and Ondo State. Aviation is a catalyst for economic development. It is part of our policy to give every part of this country a chance to develop. We are going into Akure to help them actualise their own economic development plan. Investors are already asking questions about the state. They are looking forward to going there.”
Also Speaking, Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Development and Investment, Mr. Boye Oyewumi, said the administration was serious about making the state an investor destination in the country.
Good development, issue is the flight safety, the plane looks good and well packaged, hopefully it won't be for just one week before they bring in the old ones to ferry people. God protect us o
DMW signee, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, who was arrested and detained in Miami, USA, for allegations of grand theft and credit card fraud, has been set free..
Recall that the 25-year-old singer was arrested in July in the United States on credit card fraud and identity theft charges.
He was released a few days after he pleaded not guilty to the charges and met his bail condition was set at $7500; the American justice system will determine his guilt or otherwise in court.
The singer then denied the charge and blames it on a show promoter that booked him a private jet with stolen credit cards.
Now, the singer appeared in court today and was acquainted of the 9-count fraud charges levelled against him in the U.S.
I'm sure a lot of people are disappointed now that he beat the case, shame on them all, why this OP don't even post any of his song but post about the negative stuff, anyway he made it to Nigeria press and America press.
No publicity is bad publicity, no news is bad news only if you know how to use it for yourself - Donald Trump.
OneHead: Photos of this unnamed lady eating a special Rat soup delicacy has since gone viral the photos which have been shared thousands of times of facebook clearly depicts a lady seriously eating swallow with 3 small rats.
Rat Soup It is unclear where the lady is from but many facebookers are claiming that she is from Nigeria and that recession pushed her into discovering her Rat eating talent
Rat Soup
Does This Child Belong To Fr Emma Obimma (Ebube Muonso)?
But i think eating rats is to be avoided simply because they eat human garbage. They are likely to have consumed pesticides, heavy metals, human excrement and all sorts of other garbage that you really don’t want to be eating.
Rats also carry a variety of parasites, but they aren’t especially worse in that regard than most other wild animals including many that are routinely eaten. The worst of the rat parasites is probably bubonic plague, and since fleas abandon their hosts once the body temperature starts to fall, you are increasing you exposure to that by eating rat. However is the parasite in found in the local rat population you have probably been exposed anyway.
But if you could secure a supply of rats that hadn’t been eating human garbage, there’s no reason not to eat them. They are a perfectly good source of protein. I’ve eaten bush rat, not the same species as town rats, and it’s very nice meat, somewhat like rabbit or a heavily flavoured pork. I would guess that town rats would have a very similar flavour.
IOW, there’s nothing inherently wrong with rats as a food. The problem is what the rats have been eating

dainformant: To mark president Muhammadu Buhar's 100 days out of Nigeria, some Nigerians including a lady paid a visit to the Abuja House, London where the number one citizen who is currently on medical leave stays. The crew who arrived the president's abode - was restricted by security details as they came to felicitate with him and also hand him a get well card.
The team left the card at the gate as they promised to come back with more people.
Sadly this people are not politicians or media aides, governors or former MD's but they have something in common just like me. We are all Nigerians but why is the president audience to some set of people alone and not to all Nigerians, why is this place called Abuja house so dry that it feels like the president is not even there and we are just being fed with lies and propangada, does this place have a back gate meant for high profile visitors, lot of reasons to be skeptical, whoever is advising him and telling him to only talk, laugh, meet with those in his circle does more harm than good, common man can't do nothing.
sar33: According to a report shared by Zimbabwe Today, popular Zimbabwean pastor Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has acquired a new US$12 million mansion. The mansion got people talking.Below is what Zimbabwe Today shared and the reactions that followed it...
'Prophet Shepherd Bushiri at his newly acquired US$12 million mansion and fleet of luxury cars relaxing with the family.
Do you believe in giving church tithes are they are a fraud to benefit the church pastors'.
So sad you only see what he has done for himself or acquired for himself, media will only report that, how about free electricity for his community, tution scholarship for qualified canditates in his country, employment for lot of youths, you can't be so good in all aspect of life, people talk about something to toy with the mind of other people so you think otherwise.
Jaideyone: big lie. You are not talking toba toddler. I saw totoise and some other animals there in the small zoo as far back as 2000. The pool side was there and okay then. A lot of other buildings were also there back then. I guess fayose went back in time to do all those things. The project started under Adebayo long before fayose became governor!!!
In case you don't know, the white missionaries settled down in ikogosi, those houses you saw, the pool, the animals and whatever were actually that of the missionaries, what they actually left behind when Okhai Mike Akhigbe became military governor of the then ondo state
quiverfull: We have really lowered our expectations for good governance. Are you justifying his thieving actions as a governor? Didn't we all see the monumental loot recovered from this thief? And don't get me wrong, though i agree that APC has failed, but PDP is not in anyway a credible opposition. We must begin to look for and support credible "independent candidates" for elections.
Let he without sin cast the first stone even the so called 'independent Candidates' in a country where a rich successful man wealth is surrounded by political exploits and favors, at the detriment of some other people 'tax payers'. Everyone has skeleton in his cupboard bro.
Jaideyone: lie!!! The first time I went o Ikogosi was from my secondary school in year 2000. Adebayo was governor then not fayose. Try another lie
Ikogosi is just a town in Ekiti state, underdeveloped town, the water fall has been there for years but no side attraction, just like Erin Ijesa and Olumo before the latter was packaged, what was it like in year 2000 when you went there ? And did you know what it looks like between 2003-2006 when fayose became governor and was eventually impeached. That place was modernized, packaged and giving lot of side attractions, the man didn't finish the work, Segun oni didn't, fayemi came and finished it
Opakan2: Anything PDP comes with destruction.. all they do is deplete and ruin the system.
That Fayose has numerous houses & investments in Dubai, China etc. even Ghana where he will likely run to after his tenure. Sooner or later, nemesis will catch up with all of them.
Relax, aside projects done during the military regime in the old ondo state which Ekiti is carved out from, all meaningful projects in ekiti today was done by H.E otunba niyi adebayo and H.E. Ayo Fayose, they laid the blue prints for road networks, infrastructure, welfare. Segun oni did nothing he was ousted out and fayemi came in to finish up projects started by fayose before he was impeached, as at today Ekiti has one of the best road network in Nigeria, take it or leave it
Before you conclude, 'the noise maker' started the project in his first regime as gov but he was impeached, Segun oni did nothing to develop the place until fayemi came in as governor, the noise maker came back again and spiced up the place, if you want proof watch the movie titled 'ikogosi'.
