God is Indeed faithful to some of Us.I school at Ilisan and that has been my Route for the Longest.There are times okada will have to cross you into Ilisan town on that truck filled Road and your heart is like "God am in ur Hands". I wokeup yesterday Morning to a Miraculous Day,i live in Festac and had Exhausted all cash on me over the Weekend.Was left with fuel in my Gen,and Hope for the new Day.Had 200Naira to take me to the Nearest Atm so i wasnt Bothered at First.It was 10:AM,Alert never Show.chai....am in deep I said.I Risked my 2huns biked with 100 naira to Gtb Festac Branch.I have an Account without Atm or Anything.I had abandoned it with some 7k.when i got to the Bank Stories came up,Apply for internet Banking,Apply for Atm, blabla bla...which i did.Total Deductions=2700,plus Previous Deductions for services i never got.I checked acct Balance= 4K. Shame de catch me go counter go withdraw 4K.I Peacefully worked out of the Bank with my Last 100naira,biked back Home.Upon getting home,it was lunch time.As i turned on my Gas and put my pot fire,after five minutes i saw a Blue flame and the Gas went off.Heheheeeeeee Gas is finished.I called a friend,How much are they filling Gas,she said 5k,i said 5 what? Oya na,i decided to use my rice cooker using the only saving grace fuel i have in my Gen to make lunch. Fuel had deprived me of getting my Alert yesterday,Fuel hike has cost me double to refill my Gas,fuel has deprived Us of Seeing water in the compound,laundry piling up,Dust everywhere. Na so we see am o....

I must tell you guys especially non Northerners that Gombe is a Beautiful Place.The people are hospitable,and life is interesting.I am a 2013 batch C corp member,passed out october last year,and i had Fun in Gombe.Initially i was lobbying to stay in one of the Ajebutter camps and called all the high and mighty that i knew,especially with me being a private university student from Babcock,i didnt want to go to a razz camp like we claim.infact i even lost some 40k all to Nysc Runs,when my call up came it was Gombe.Haa,i just summed up courage and went.camp was fun,and d rest of the service year was awesome.Just be yourself,be friendly and you will enjoy yourself.I made new friends,new bf,new family,new spiritual life,and till date Gombe is the most hospitable place i hav bn to in Nigeria.so enjoy mallam sidi camp and dont redeploy.life is an adventure.
