I attended one of this Studyfair programs in Port Harcourt... One of the organizers told me that am too old to apply for B.Sc in a German school as am in my 30s.
He went further to say that i might be given admission but the embassy might refuse me visa.

Please apart from NIIT in Port Harcourt, which other ICT Institutes can one gain Certificate Training with same standard or more than that of NIIT.

Please which school do you think is best for computer related studies, with a better pocket friendly environment, cos i must put money into consideration while attempting my exit.

Good afternoon house, i really appreciate the job you guys are doing here. The contributions are superb and the advice given are great, i pray God to keep showing us mercy and love here.

However, i have tried so many times to gain admission into a German University and i couldn't even go through a single process before backing out. This i understood was because of lack of knowledge of where to start and how to start.

So, i am begging the house, i know it will be a step back to the current discussions in the house. I really wish if the house can outline steps to be taken to gain admission and things to do.

I have already contacted some schools via email, to ascertain what their requirements are. But, i don't seem to really get every details they give, and coming across this thread today, i decided to ask my brothers and sisters for assistance.

I want to do an undergraduate course.

i forgot to add germany. Infact thats the country in my mind recently. Most unis have no tuition, just get your 8000 euros in the blocked account which is like just two million naira plus, and you ready to go. That 8000 euro in blocked account proofs you can afford rent,food etc which inturn will almost always guarantee you the visa, plus maybe buy one small land like that and register a business just to show them you got ties to nija. The plus side is that you can work while studying and can stay after studies to look for job. Germany is easier i believe than most of those countries even and overall cheaper if you reason am, cuz no tuition fees

I have been reasoning this Germany stuff...got hands on some Universities which offer courses in English and tuition is zero. You just pay departmental levies which is about E300.

I am very good at Computer Maintenance and have little Knowledge on Networking. I did some Diploma Training on Computer System Maintenance and Network Administration years back and have flourished well in Computer Repairs, Installations and Maintenance.

Recently, i seem to have derailed from my career and hustled for money rather than pursue a career in the Information Technology field. Woke up this morning and have felt really bad for the lost of focus and determination over the years.

I went through some online journals and have been energised to further my career in Info. Tech, but my problem now is where to start.

I am in love with Hardware and Cyber Security. Please where do i go from where i am right now. I want to improve and enhance my knowledge and understanding. I know the best bet is to seek for certifications, but i just need to have a part and steps to follow to get to my destination.

I really need good counselling you guys.

no mesh was installed and car was still at the mechanics shop.

OK... The story got a bit twisted now and I have been having serious headache... I was supposed to go pick my car up on Friday evening. I called a family friend who sales car parts at Aba Auto Spare Parts Market. He said I can actually use a center Cat from a different car at cheap price to replace the cat under the car and the 'Y' shaped Cat... He advised I should by the original Cat for the front. I enquired from 2 other mechanics and I was told I can go ahead with the plan.
On getting to where my dear car was, I was told that the worst has happened. "Oga, I go test the car finish, brought it back for the panel beater to work on the exhaust as it was leaking, he started the car and fired it and the car gave one sound and stopped... Since then it has refused to revolve"
I was left in a confused state, weda to slap him or hit him with an iron I saw lying on the ground. I just summoned courage and left the place. Called the colleague who directed me to the guy and told him to call his mech to fix my car before Thursday or face my other side.
Am just heartbroken right now.

I actually took the car for repairs as it was smoking badly and was told fuel mixes with the oil. So after the whole repairs, he called to say the car is not sounding normal as if it was having difficulties breathing and which I noticed before the smoking issue. He said the manifold was redhot, and on a proper check he discovered it was blocked. In fact all three (Front, rear and center) were bad.

I wondering what kind of mechanic you have that will cut off you catalyst converter without your express approval & knowledge. Apparently, he has a high level control over you.

What was wrong with the catalyst? Are you sure it was faulty & how did he or you determine that? I hope he hasn't played a smart one on you?

Rather than stuff anything in their, drive the car like that but remember it won't be environmental friendly & you will have a slightly higher mpg & the sound of your car will also change & gradually damage your engine.

Personally, I will suggest parking the car until you can afford to replace it.

So I got a call today, "Oga the catalyst on this car needs to be cut open and removed"... You say wetin? ... Before I can even understand he said he has cut it open and freed the exhaust...
