Good evening guys... I wish to thank you guys for your kind replies to my distress call, especially @Tojah who responded to my call and tried his best to arrest the situation.

She was able to reach my cousin who resides at Kazakh, so they are both trying to find a way to help her settle in. However, the so called student visa turned out to be tourist visa, which was what I was bent on trying to verify before allowing her embark on the journey.

Children of these days won't kill us.

Please I have an urgent and emergency situation.

My sister said her boss wants to help her travel abroad (Kazakhstan), was hoping to meet them here in Abuja to check on her documents myself and also verify things, but she told me at the last minute on my way to airport that they were not able to get a flight to Abuja, so they will travel from Lagos.

Now I smell something fishy and wish to either stop her from travelling or get a tangible information of her flight itinerary and information of the person travelling with her.

Have placed calls to contacts I have at Lagos, no one is close to both local and international airport.

Please I cry out to you guys, how can you help me out. Who has any contact at International airport who can help me ascertain some vital information from her and her boss who is traveling with her. My head is going bonkers right now.

Please it's urgent as their flight to Kazakhstan is ur within 7 and 8, emirates. She doesn't even know all the information but is keen on going, even after I told her on phone not to go.

Good morning elders and young hustlers in the Ehailing line... I greet you all.

So I got a car and have been trying to use it to hustle. The owner asked for weekly remittance of 25k and I take care of the servicing and minor repairs within 5k.

However, I noticed the car was consuming fuel like na air. At first, I used 2.5k fuel to work and I got 3k. Partly my fault cos I was driving around most of the time in search of request. Then I took the car for diagnosis and it was detected that the catalyst has been tampered with.

I complained to the owner and he bought a direct Belgium catalyst for the one on the engine and panel beater (Kazeem's brother advised we just buy any good cheap one for the one under the car and cut-to-fit, which we did and I was able to use 5k fuel to make 11k.

I actually noticed my fuel gauge drops drastically after a trip on highway (trust majority of Abuja roads, they are major highways and wide, so you can throttle for 10mins without applying brakes. I told kazeem and he brought out the O2 sensor on the exhaust Manifold, used meter to read and tell me it's not reading.

I went to the market bought 2 sensors and changed the first two sensors leaving the last one, yet no noticeable improvement.

This morning, I remembered I had an OBD 2 Bluetooth scanner I was using on my Highlander, so I used it to scan the car... Got several faults, including the O2 sensors. However, I decided to clear the faults as they might be old faults stored in the ECU. Then drove the car around for 15mins and did another scan.

Below are the fault codes I was able to pick.

Please, what should kazeem do according to these fault codes.

Good evening great people... Please ooo.. Since yesterday, my AC started blowing out this funny wet dog like smell... I have gone and bought air freshener stick and added at the cleaner area.

It reduced, only to come back today. Please what might be wrong.
Good morning.... Any ideas please.

In addition, I noticed my car was consuming alot of fuel, so I did a diagnosis on the car and there was a catalytic error. So I asked a panel beater to check the exhaust out for leakages and to check on the catalysts which he confirmed has been stolen.

We proceeded to buying the exhaust manifold and he advised we get a cheaper one for the one at the center then cut to size. However, things improved ever since especially when I am driving within streets or just cruising softly, but I noticed that my fuel drops drastically when I do long distance trips on highways (Google map like giving me directions through the highways) or when I am driving to meet up with time like James Bond.

Secondly, I noticed the car will always rev high before the gear can change or I will need to release the throttle for it to change.

Please what could be the possible cause of all these.

That one is not new na... GMap is 70 - 80% correct and wrong the rest of the time, especially when you are not too familiar with the area. Took a guy from Maruwa to Yaba, on getting to IKOYI ramp on Lekki - EepeeEee which my spirit told me to take, Map said go straight. Rider dey press phone. I say OK o, make I follow Map. It took me to CMS, told me to take Odunlami Ramp, and I took it. Rider looked up, ah an, you took this sidehuh I was trying to navigate my way out, na so LASMA catch me because of traffic light. The rest they say is history.

Now I use this line when I'm not familiar with the destination: Please I'm not too familiar with this area. Do you have a preferred route or should I go with the map?

Most of the time na, 'Its like you are new in Lagos' or 'Its like you stay on the Mainland/Island (If I'm on the Island/Mainland vice versa). And I give them an emphatic YES. In fact to some, I just dey enter Lagos the previous week and they turn to my unsolicited tour guide of Lagos.

In all, we must still find our way HOME.
That one na my song ooo

Please, do you have a preferred route? I am not too familiar with Abuja roads as I am just few weeks old in town.

These guys are just so kind and most of the times we would gist about where I was coming from.

Happy new year elders in the house.

The sweetness of the hustle just carry my head Waka. Abuja is cool and the riders are quite friendly, especially the young Hausa nyarinyas.

Had one particular experience.

Got a request on Ocar, rushed to pick the rider. Called while I was on my way, choiiii.... Sweet calm angelic voice.

As I got to the location and called her that I was outside. She came out with another sweet babe. Entered the ride and I started the car. Ewo!!! AC no gree ON... I tried all I could think of, turned off the car and back again... No luck. Na wa oo, local man don fall hands be that?

I just gat to summon morale tell them say AC no gree ON and I was expecting blabbing and lambasting. However, the response I got made me to look back.

Local man: Please am sorry the AC just failed. I don't know what went wrong.

Omo Sexy Hausa: Is it just the AC?

Local Man: Yes it is just the AC.

Omo Sexy Hausa: It is OK... Let's get on with the trip.

Me for my mind... If this na Lagos, wetin for happen. If na other tribes or all these slay babes... How I got do.

One more thing, most of the folks around here no dey form Car owner CEOs... They prefer sitting in front with you, except for a few of them who are just trying to form bigshots on top OCar N500 trip.

Good morning guys... Please how far with Ocar at Lagos.... Drivers seem to be unhappy with their operations here in Abuja. The fares are way too bad, like they are scamming people. Did a 38mins drive this morning with an initial price of 1200+, after a 14mins pickup drive, just cos I wanted to use it to get out of the estate, only to end trip and saw 501.

That is very bad...

Before I forget... I finally got a car for rentals. A friend gave me the car to use until am able to buy mine.... Trying to fix few things, doh I have tested the waters on Saturday and it was cool.

Had six riders and all were nice and friendly, especially the last two ladies I got their request and AC went dead as soon as they entered. I told them am sorry cos the AC is bad and to my surprise the ladies asked if that's just the only issue. If yes, that I should continue with the trip.

Looking at starting fully by 2moro's eve.

Thanks guys for your advises here, I am very grateful.

Compliment of the season everyone. Hope we enjoyed ourselves and remember... Don't drink and drive this period.

Firstly, my partner decided to flex with his car this period, as it was Christmas day. So I am still waiting on him to release the car.

However, happened 2 days ago as I was trying to navigate through the city in an attempt to get used to the road network here in Abuja, which is going fine. I discovered that my phone was showing warning of over heating. When I tried to pick it up, I was so scared as it was terribly hot. A toddler can easily get burnt by the heat.

I had the Google map running and the screen was at 40% brightness and charger was plugged in as the battery was running down. It's an Infinix note 4 phone.

Please, has anyone noticed the this same issue? I had to switch off the phone and allowed it to cool down before turning it back.

I really don't understand what you guys are talking about or insinuating with this January and Snow and snow storm period of a thing.

The slowness of January is only but for the first 2 weeks, cos life comes back to norm on the 3rd week when all Offices, businesses, schools and all have resumed.

So, cos the surges are high now cos of the festive season, does it mean other months were bad?

Let's just say there are extra more money made on this kind of period. That does not mean other months are bad.

Please let's stop this kind of mentality. Make your money now and then by January, you go back to normal routine of things.

Guys, it is real.... let us all endeavor to always check our cars after dropping off riders. (or riders that seems like bird of ill-omen). Took 2guys to Baruwa inside area, dropped them at their location (area which doesn't a residential), I re-parked to clean my car before embarking on another trip, found a bottle drink under the front chair, what it is I don't know, seems mixtures of liquid drinks, threw it away, cleaned up and just 2minute drive away from the street, Sars stopped me and questioned me, they couldn't get on my nerves despite their approach because I was so calm with them with positive response. Decided to check my car, no issue. What baffles me is the way they searched, to the extent of opening my footmart. Infact, lets just be careful even as we pray for protection. I thank God because the story would have been different by now. I hale everybody + Uber barred me today with 6% cancellation rate.
Always make it a habit to clean your car after you drop off any rider. It won't take you more than 3mins.

That 3mins won't cost you your life or money, rather it will save your life, money and wahala.

Happy festive season.
