13.5 Billion or More every Three months are realised at Ugwuagba, Awada,Ozala,Mkpikpa & other layouts in Obosi Idemili-North Lga of Anambra State On Sanitation related matters alone! This is on residential houses only!. There are over 300 Thousand Flats/Houses in The area!.There are over 300 Thousand Shops,Factories/ Industries, Mechanic-Workshops, Filing Stations,Motor Parks, Bank Offices, Private Schools & Hospitals, Hotels/ Resturants & other offices!.They all pay not less than #1000 each a month to Environmental Agency in Anambra-State!. Please remember, some pay between #3000 to #5000 a month to same Agency a month!.Some have the opinion that Anambra State does not need any allocation from the federal govt.The question in every bodies mouth is: Where is the money?. Why is the past govts in Anambra-State declaring between 300 to 500 Thousand a month as Igr. Obiano govt is trying to increase it more!. They are declaring 1.5 Billion at the moment which is a far cry to what can be realised from the whole of Anambra-State,if Some layouts in Obosi is paying 13.5 Billion on Sanitation Matters Quaterly alone!.

Anambra govt can generate almost the same amount as lagos state internally but i think they are not being too harsh on taxation.This is only one section onitsha north local govt can generate 10 billion naira a month if they tighten up the lope holes and strengthen the tax revenue income obiano should work on that he does not need federal allocation Anambra is not a poor state

Nigeria: Innoson to Mass Produce First Made-in-Nigeria Motorcycle


The executive vice chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr Mohammed Haruna, has revealed that the Nigerian automobile company, Innoson Nigeria Ltd, Nnewi, Anambra State, is set to set up an assembly plant to mass produce the agency's first made-in-Nigeria motorcycle.

Speaking exclusively to LEADERSHIP at the agency's headquarters in Idu Industrial Layout, Abuja, Haruna said the move was for uniformity.

The NASENI, in June 2013, launched its first ever wholly made-in-Nigeria motor cycle, the NASENI M1

The 80C engine motorcycle was conceived, designed and manufactured, using local materials by Nigerian engineers at the National Engineering Design Development Institute (NEDDI), one of the nine research and development (R&d) institutes supervised by the agency. The NASENI boss said its aim was to produce the prototype and allow industries with capacity to take over from the agency and mass produce the product.

He said, "We produced three prototypes and perfected its production, however, for uniformity and commercial production, Innosson Nigeria Limited is now trying to set up an assembly that will do mass production of that and when that is achieved the NASENI would have achieved its mandate, target and aim under that project. Our aim is not to flood the market with the products but to have someone else with capacity to mass produce our models and pay royalty to the agency."

Listing other products by the NASENI which are available for commercialisation, he also said the agency has produced solar panels, science kits for tertiary institutions and block moulding machines.
