And mind u,igbos that's stuck in lagos are the lost ones, they dont even have a room in the east,my state is rich and powerful, full of old money and new money mind u.and my state has the biggest market in africa, have her own private refinery which Yoruba governors couldn't build for their people, they still waiting for FG to come and build it for them...stop blowing shittt out of prop-potion..... cool

MegaMan2020: I've seen Aba with my own two eyes. I've actually seen the East. There's a reason Yorubas and Northerners tend not to live in the East. There's also a reason why Igbos live in the North and SW in the millions. Ask yourself this question. if you grew up in the SW, why would you want to live in the East?
you are lying northerners especially full east even when their is riot they still come back, now lagos is not only yoruba inhabitants other tribes are there settled because as a former capital plus federal govt presences,in nigeria, any were their is federal power u will see people all over the country trooping in for one thing or another, and i believe lagos is giving u ego to brag which was not develop by yorubas, most of the bridges were built by military regime with oil money.

The funny thing is that u guys are so short sighted to the point that u swallow shame to lay claim on something u didnt build, just because it was build in lagos by FG automatically is urs.. see the way other states in Yoruba are still looking, why didn't u build it up like lagos?abi no be the same yoruba dey rule those states?

EASTERN REGION cant even feed its own ppl lol.

C'mon stop bullshoiting us.
u are wrong,if u say eastern region cant feed it own people that tell hw low ur IQ level.Even the northerners claim they feed the whole nation but they are mostly shoe shiners in the east, this is why i said u cant hide the truth for ever, the day SW wake up from their delusion world your region will start seeing development...

If u like keep show casing fraudulent facts, the reality is that in real life majority of SW are swimming in poverty. So how can you deal with that?
PoliticsRe: Ibadan: One Of Five African Cities To Watch - Financial Times by ak47mann(m): 4:10am On Dec 16, 2012
MegaMan2020: Is that why Igbos would prefer to live in the North and SW? Common shut up your stupid mouth. The East is badly is badly underdeveloped. You and I both know this. Aba, Abia State resembles Somalia. Can the East really compare with the South West?
OK LET COMPARE THE TWO REGIONS AND SEE? U THINK INTERNET IS PUNCH NEWSPAPER AND CO THAT CAN LIE AND DISCREDIT EASTERN REGION THAT ACTUALLY FEED THE REST OF THE NATION. wink WE NEED PHYSICAL EVIDENCE....

Biafra rep: I hate bland statements like the one above, please for the umpteenth time, what is Ibadan producing? petroleum? Manufacturing firms like PZ? Good i know about Ewedu, block industries, pure water industries, Gbegiri, Babalawo et al as Dhemmy listed but are they what makes Ibadan industrialized?
this people think igbos are shallow minded like their folks in SW and northern nigeria, they love claiming things but cant provide physical evidence.Sometimes they think everyone is as stuppiddd as them....how can u claim something that is not physically on the ground?
PoliticsRe: Ibadan: One Of Five African Cities To Watch - Financial Times by ak47mann(m): 4:16pm On Dec 15, 2012
And can u tell us the source of income of oyo state and physical evidence on how they generate that amount on GDP and how much the state contribute in federal account....

Biafra rep: 3 million people indeed, when you remove the 2.9 million slum dwellers, with very little purchasing power, actually around 50 cents a day, then you know that you have no market at all, except the investor wants to produce ewedu and gbegiri.
my belle don blow from laughing cheesy

demmy: Investment destinations in Nigeria 2012

https://blog.frontierstrategygroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Nigeria.png

Nigeria is a tale of two regions as city-level opportunities in the south overshadow widespread insecurity in the north. Companies must overcome corporate HQ fears regarding operational risks to position for long-term success in Nigeria, which remains the most attractive long-term investment destination in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Last month ethnic conflict ravaged northern Nigeria, leaving 150 dead and 100 injured. This continues a troubling trend of violence in 2012. From an investment perspective, this has rattled foreign companies that are wondering if Nigeria is becoming too risky. However, halting or drastically scaling back investment plans would be a mistake for senior executives.

Much of the violence is isolated in the economically underdeveloped north. The total GDP of 7 attack locations between April 5 and May 4 is US$25 billion, which represents less than 10% of Nigeria’s economy. On the other hand, the total GDP of 7 top investment destinations in the south is US$80 billion. This represents more than 30% of Nigeria’s economy.

Nigeria’s five largest cities, all of which are located in the south, have a combined GDP exceeding US$75 billion. This is surpassed only by Angola and South Africa. City GDP in Nigeria’s south is set to expand significantly this quarter, even if only on paper, because the government is shifting the base year for real GDP to 2009 from 1990. The result will be an overnight gain of 40% that closes the overall economy size gap between Nigeria and South Africa to only 10%.

Southern cities represent great opportunities for companies targeting emerging consumer classes, public sector projects, and other private sector companies flocking to urban areas. Companies should establish good relationships with distributors that know the southern part of the country well. Much of your sales opportunities are likely to be concentrated in this region for the foreseeable future.

ODUA_NEGRO: rotflmao!!!

There is a corporate strategy based on the science of "flooding and damming" and I dont know what the theory is called but I understand the concept well. It is believed the US applied this strategy politically to dismember USSR and force capitalism on them. China is doing exactly the same thing to US now. Here is how it works:

You pump investment into your rival's market and economy (flooding) and generate high volume of money circulation which invokes a false sense of worth. Putting faith in their swollen discretionary money, citizens respond massively in increased consumption, which in turn produces more loans and debts. When the society is soaked in overlays of debts, you begin to use soft instruments of debts to rescue people out of their tangible and secured debts.......in other words escalate the burdens. People will soon learn, painfully, to conserve and live within their means. This action is bad for market and business and therefore business owners begin to conserve and shrink. When supply is more than demand of goods and services thhe currency devalues, worth and values shrink, the market implodes on itself (dam).

This strategy can be applied to various aspects of social living. Aplying it to the demographics, the Igbos who form the main target of hatred in the North, can "dam" their population volume and turn the hatred to Hausa-Fulani-Kanuri rivalry.

Israel continues to enjoy political relevance because of the Palestinian issue. If the conflict ends, Israel will not be an everyday topic in news and will soon be irrelevant in corridors of global power......so the war must continue.

The day Igbo depart core North their jihadist will loose cause against Christianity and turn the dagger and bombs against one another in a new rivalry that will depose the Emirs. Can Igbo do that, I doubt it. grin

......be sure to train desert jihadists how to swim before they embark on a journey to Isale Eko. We will use them as blood sacrifice to Olokun, fill Eko Atlantic with their drowned carcass.

Olaolufred: NOW I CAN CONCLUDE THAT THE IGBOS HAS NO CASE AGAINST ANYBODY.
BUT THEY CAN ALWAYS BLAME EVERYBODY FOR THEIR OWN ERRORS.
SINCE THERE WASN'T ANY CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY,
ACHEBE'S 300+ BOOK FILLED WITH EVIDENCES BUT LACKS POTENCY, IT IS NOT NOT TENABLE TO PROSECUTE ANY CASE IN A VILLAGE SQUARE NOT TO TALK OF THE WORLD FILLED WITH INTELLECTS.
THIS IS WELL KNOWN TO THEM THAT THEY LIVE MORE ON DECIET THAN TRUTH.
OF COURSE, YOU CAN NOT GET JUSTICE WITH FABRICATIONS AND LIES.
dont worry, wait and let see the out comes, then you can blame igbos later not now..

Real-Mccoy:
Nothing I said above was a lie. All I stated were witnessed by our generation. Fashola attended an intellectual discuss and daft like you is calling him clueless? He is a graduate of Uniben, he is not a tribalist but a progressive. If I could vote in Nigeria I will vote for him not cos he is Yoruba but his exposed way of thinking. Kid, I am done talking about this and if you don't have anything to do go climb a tree. grin
The said book has sold over 10 million copies and the sales were mostly outside Nigeria . Write your memoir if you felt he is not saying what everyone already knew. Achebe and Fashola were advising young generation and Nigerian government not to make similar mistakes as 1966, what is bad in that? You never read his book yet you are ranting? You trying to make been stupid cool or what?
I must admit ,you have close the book.... cool

uchenageme: From all i have read above it is clear that we do not have a country, no wonder Achebe titled his book 'THERE WAS A COUNTRY' whether referring to the short lived Biafra nation or the short lived Nigeria federation, it is very clear and obvious that Nigeria is a union of convenience and by its very foundation it is a union that was destroyed immediately the first bullet of the war was fired. Ethnically motivated killings are still going on in the North and other parts of the country even as I write, certain ethnic groups still feel marginalized and feel that they do not belong to the union, people still see themselves as Odua, Arewa or Biafra first before considering if they are Nigerians. Its only a matter of time, I sincerely wish the oil will dry up fast to accelerate the inevitable break up.
u said it all..
