Ngodigha1: They are about 30,000 in Edo. Very insignificant.but they have enough landmass in edo that can take 800.000 more ijaws,is better they concentrate more in areas they have bigger land mass because they scatted around the whole southern part of nigeria. They need to start migrating to the areas they have better land mass.... |
kingoflag: And which parts of Edo will this be, Uncle?gelegele land all those areas belong to ijaw people is their ancestral land......... |
some parts of edo state belong to ijaws,i think they should allow them to form their own state from that side too... |

BARELY four months after President Goodluck Jonathan commissioned a manufacturing outfit, Krisoral & Co ROPP plant at the Harbour Industrial Layout Ogbaru, Onitsha, a sister company, Eastern Distilleries and Food Industries Ltd has hit the market with a unique aromatic schnapps, Omega Aromatic Schnapps; a brand designed to deal with the problem of adulteration in the schnapps market. it was like a carnival when the delegation led by the Group Managing Director of Krisoral Group of Companies, Chief Chris Oranu Chidume, and other top managers of the company stormed Aguleri for the official presentation of the product to the traditional ruler of Aguleri, HRM, Igwe Christopher Idigo (Ogalagidi Aguleri), members of his cabinet and the Aguleri kingdom. Launching of the product The GMD, Chief Chris Oranu Chidume, told the royal father and members of his cabinet that they were at the palace to launch the campaign of the new product before moving to other parts of the country. He said: “We decided to come home to showcase our brand before we start going outside because charity, they say, begins at home. It would be disrespectful for the royal father to hear about the product from other parts of the country.” Chidume who took time to explain the unique features of the brand noted that it comes in a customized ‘omega’ bottle and a measuring cup to match, stressing, however, that the most outstanding feature was the special non-return valve closure, which makes it impossible to adulterate or for anyone to introduce any other liquid into the bottle unless it was broken. He said: “We were worried that unscrupulous people pick used bottles from refuse dumps to repackage all sorts of spirits in the name of schnapps that we find in our markets today. That is why our Research & Development department went to work and came out with this unequalled brand of schnapps”. After having a taste of it, the monarch and his cabinet unanimously adopted Omega Aromatic Schnapps as the palace and community brand. The Igwe Ogalagidi who commended Eastern Distilleries and Food Industries Ltd for their commitment to quality and innovation, declared that Omega Aromatic schnapps would henceforth be the schnapps brand for his palace and for all functions in the Aguleri Kingdom. Speaking to Vanguard shortly after the occasion, the GMD expressed happiness that the drink had been endorsed by the royal father and his entire Aguleri kingdom. He said: “The main purpose of this visit is to do a presentation of Omega Aromatic Schnapps to Igwe Christopher Idigo. You all witnessed how he happily and gladly adopted Omega Aromatic Schnapps as the official brand of his palace and the kingdom. We are indeed very happy to record such break through”. He said the company would embark on aggressive marketing of the product with a view to taking over the schnapps market in Nigeria. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/01/aguleri-kingdom-gets-official-drink/ |
The borders in the northern part will be difficult to monitor, due to the possiton of the border and was not properly secure and monitored for decades. Is like americans monitoring border b/w them and mexicans but they still have illegal mexican aliens smuggling themselves to USA daily. And nigerian politicians dont love the land they serve more than american polticians and still yankee is still fighting illegal aliens along the border, upon amount of money FG has been putting on patrol guards to help them fish out mexicans for yrs...... |
